There are a whole laundry list of problems with this store.First, the parking lot is in terrible condition most of the time as they let truckers park overnight/daylong, which creates some pretty substantial potholes.Second, even given Walmarts tendency to jump ahead on seasonal items, rotating stock weeks ahead of time, this store has a pretty bad track record for item consistency and consistent pricing. When smaller local stores in the area can carry things like soda at cheaper prices (while still paying competitive employee wages!) its pretty bad.Third, they keep making excuses for why they still wont reopen the store 24/7 (e.g., they need to sanitize the store at night, even though they still wont enforce other COVID procedures like mask wearing or social distancing) when according to most of the employees Ive talked to its just because they dont want to get back to paying the overnight pay differential.Fourth, they recently blocked off six of the parking spaces closest to the store for Pickup orders. This would be fine, except that they arbitrarily restrict the order pickup to anytime after 5:55 PM which completely missed the point.Fifth, for as much as they seem to need employees to work the sales floor, there hardly being anyone to run the registers or work the sales floor, they seem to have an excess of supervisors and managers wandering around at any respective point throughout the day.As I said, theres a lot more problems here but that would take too long for a Google review.

Decent Walmart, it doesn’t have everything like the other Walmart’s does but still good enough to get the usual things I get. For my truckers out there, don’t go around the back they closed off the other end off in the back so just turn in front where you see the others parked.

Store was clean and staff was friendly. Good selection of merchandise. Employees are well versed in product knowledge

Clean, organized with outgoing and helpful staff. Store is well stocked at all times. Parking lot is clean with security on duty 24/7. Plenty of handicapped space and access. Pickup area in parking lot is well organized and efficiently served.

I ♥️ Walmart. But the employees are rude. But I found clearance shoes so.... Awesome!!

I did not apply for a cashier position.. It ABSOLUTELY makes me SICK to see ALL of the associates standing around GOSSIPING.. while THE CUSTOMERS have to self check out! I think this is THE worst idea ever. I am about ready to ditch Wal-Mart all together.. Wal-Mart does NOT have the lowest prices, OR cashiers.. Im done...

Well stocked with helpful, happy employees always close by to assist you in finding items or point you in the right direction where you might find them. From the smile and wave from the greeter to the how are you today from gentleman stocking bath tissue, couldnt have asked for friendlier employees in my short excursion through wally world.

We needed another little jar of chopped green chilis. They dont even have them on their website now?Everything else was easy to find.

I was in a hurry and I found everything quickly. The pharmacy was also quick as I was able to pick up my prescriptions in a timely manner.

Stopped in to pick up some Halloween fabric. The TLE associate paged 3 times for help. No show. Finally got a manager paged. His comment was I thought you might need help. I worked at Walmart for 17 years and the customer service I received today would never be tolerated at my store. I understand you might be short handed but totally dont leave a customer waiting for 30 minutes.

Picked up an object in our drivers size back tire coming back from the gulf to FDW area. Stopped in late afternoon on Thursday. The tire guys could not fix tire because of location of puncture so they changed to the spare. They were quick, friendy and very good with our Jaguar F-Pace.

One real cashier... Because they want you to self check yourself out so they can save money, right? And those self check out lines are so long, might as well wait in the single cashier line. You know what I recommend... Stop using self check out and force walmart to hire more cahiers!!

Its very nice to have vegan options. This store has different types of vegan ice cream and even vegan pizza. They could have a better art section though

Didn’t have what every other Wal mart in area had. So I am going to have to go to my hometown Wal mart after all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We lease from this store and they have done so many wrongs towards us. They opened our mail which is a federal offense and my car was hit in their parking lot and they tried to say it wasnt on their cameras. You can NOT trust this store at all. They are awful to their employees and treat us like were worthless.

The shelves are almost always empty of groceries that people buy,several people have asked me if their closing,,I wish they would, We need an HEB,,,with fresh vegetable choices, and fruit, Going down hill just like everything else in Hillsboro, And were the County Seat,,All these people putting good reviews of well stocked and clean must be buddies of Walmart Associates,,

I always shop here because its closer than some other stores and I it because I can check myself out (which is faster).

I go to this Walmart at least once or twice a week. I love this Walmart! It doesnt offer as many choices as bigger city Walmarts but it has plenty. Everything is always organized and stocked. Great food prices also

Went in for 4 items, while out of town. Gatorade aisle was totally wiped out of any selections. Had to search for an employee to ask location of HBA area. Usually swarming with blue carts for online shoppers. Had to buy 2 different type & size of other items, cause regular items were empty also.Checked self out only had one cashier

Walmart are always helpful for all necessary items. Customer service very helpful and self automatic machine payments give relax to payout. Problem if any items not scan its not detected door machine. I forgot to pay water case bill and I didnt see any waring when come out from shop. I check my cart under 2nd layer water case(40 Bottle). I return to cashier and pay. Management need to take care items not theft or not pay any missing.

Only one checkstand open, the self checkout had two lines five deep and some of those orders were full carts.

The lady at the money center saw that I am pretty far a long in my pregnancy & let me borrow her stool & fan as I waited !! She was super nice & professional !!

If youre a person that enjoys empty grocery shelves... Then this is the store for you. You will find frozen potato products to be plentiful.Dont bring a list, just be happy you actually found food here. Its kinda like shopping in Russia or East Germany during the Cold War.Seriously, if youre coming for groceries, just save the precious moments of your life and look elsewhere.

You really cant go wrong here. Its a huge store that has nearly anything you could ever need or want to shop for. Everything from groceries, electronics, cosmetics, school supplies, auto accessories and everything in between. I usually get my groceries here. Its usually a decent shopping experience, and in the rare cases that I do need an employees assistance, they are usually very eager to help me locate what Im seeking. Id recommend it based on the fact that I havent really had a bad experience at this location yet. I do recommend shopping here.

TRUCKERS WELCOME !!5 Trucks in this small supercenter. They have no truck signs but clearly were choosing to accept truckers as customers. GOD BLESS

Electronics CS was great. Spent time with me while I compared different phones.Layout of store is good. Short of some supplies in middle month. Another Rep aided me in finding a rest spot. I usually use Electric cart but that day just used grocery cart.

Lines were quick and easy. They might be getting it together finally!

I just watched the most incredible thing. An older woman trying to go through the self check out and not knowing how. She tried to scan each banana. She was embarrassed and I was embarrassed for her. I stepped out of line and called the store to complain. Store manager, Nicole Hart, never picked up the phone. Shame on you! Open more check out lines. I don’t work for you! So done with WalMart!

I got a cute swim suit. I almost always buy my clothes from walmart. Theres only two things I dislike about it and that is, the bathrooms are in the back which is hard to get to and, its a big store ( which is not really there fault). But other than that its great!

Had 2 cashiers and way too many customers. Took my wife and daughter 20 minutes to check out

My experience there was terrible terrible terrible store was hot and I sweated like a pig and it was only knew it had not gotten its hot as and very uncomfortable shopping because of their air conditioning in the building even all the store employees are sweating like pigs at the Hillsboro Walmart store customer conference was out the window from the moment I walked through the doors thats all I could think about was getting out as quick as possible it literally felt like I was in a oven this was at 11:30 a.m. July 24th 2021

Well it was clean well stocked great atmosphere all in all I enjoyed it

Made a curbside pick up order today, seriously in need of sinage for the pick up spot. The map on the app shows it to be up front of the store by the sidewalk but thats not so. After calling to find out where it is, it is currently located in a construction work space next to the smokers lounge, very unprofessional setting and a trashy side of the building. The associate that helped us was very nice and helpful.

Walmart is a good store to shop at. I shop in Hill county and the two walmarts in Johnson county.

The Walmart in Hillsboro has stocked their store well, checkers there, where 12 people don t stand in line for 30 to 40 min.Waco Bellmead is the worst Walmart.I will drive from Gholson to Hillsboro to do my shopping for now own.Also Waco Bellmead needs a new manager, they use to have one, now the store has gone to pot.

This is the worst Walmart EVER! The are always out of everyday use items...bottled water, tp, coffe creamer, vegetables, ect...I havent seen mgmt on the floor managing yet. we saw pies in the bakery stocked sideways instead of flat recently. sad that the only Walmart in Hill co is run so poorly.

Improving their inventory and variety of grocery items, however they dont enforce the Governors mask mandate after people enter the store. People are walking all over the store without masks. Until that is corrected or they offer curbside pickup, this place should only be shopped in an emergency when you cant get an item safely elsewhere.

Never have any electric carts they all are broken or not charged. We went in and asked for a cart we had to wait a long time then 2 cam up while my handicap husband stood there and the young man at the door proceeds to give them to someone. else we will NEVER come to Hillsboro walmart again

We were in a pinch traveling & having care trouble. They checked the battery and found it wouldnt hold a charge. They replaced it & got us back on the road.

I was getting a gift for my boyfriends mom and I wanted to ask about a certain pair of boots and I had seen a lady that worked there and she completely ignored me she didnt have any airpods in that I could see I repeatedly called out to her and she didnt even bat an eye very rude staff

The Hillsboro Wal-Mart has not been stocked well even before the pandemic. I always end up checking my own purchases as the lines are long. Truly wish this location would clean up and improve.
