I bought a 2002 Toyota hylander. Florian is family with my boyfriend and completely screwed us over. A few weeks after we bought it the tire flew off while driving. This is being told it’s top condition and they fixed everything. While doing research and asking repair shops it happens when the tire isn’t on properly. If you can’t put a tire on right how do you expect me to believe other things on the car are safe. Can’t trust this guy at all not just for this reason but many more. Go to a place you know you can trust instead. You put your life in his hands

Perte had the car I wanted with the milage and condition. I came armed with a quote and good rate from my bank thinking I would be able to walk away with a good deal. When getting down to business I talked about the rate the bank gave me and they said they could do better. Then ended up beating my own banks rates while still using my bank. I drove away a happy camper. This was 2 years ago and I am still happy. Would buy another car from them if/when they have one I want. Thanks guys.

In spite of the negative reviews, which most were a LONG time ago, I was completely satisfied and amazed at the positive experience and would like to speak up for this dealership, at least in my situation. I am a researcher and have very good intuition and I will not be up-sold or hassled by salesmen, completely aware of their tactics, always ready to walk out of the place if that kind of thing starts. I experienced none of that here. The guys I dealt with were honest and continued to help me make good decisions and assist me with the vehicle even after the purchase was complete. They gave me FAR more for my van than trade-in value was booked at which allowed me to finance less and save paying taxes on the full amount, something they suggested to save me money. The new vehicle is perfect so far, and I hope my good experience continues. I have never had such a positive buying experience, and I will definitely return to them if the need arises for a new vehicle.

Friendly enough guys, but I dont trust them and eventually chose to go elsewhere. Initially they seemed fully supportive of me taking the car to my mechanic to have it inspected (at my expense of course) before purchasing. But as the process went along, they seemed less willing. They said things like:but we give you a 6000 mile warranty (just the powertrain, however)why not just spend that $100 on extending the warranty (just the powertrain, again)lots of mechanics make things up during inspections so youll pay them to fix the car later (insulting the integrity of MY trusted mechanic? come on)And ultimately, when I said I understood those points, but still wanted to have it inspected, they wouldnt accommodate me. They blew me off with stories like well I cant get the car there today, etc.The potential here exists that theyre just lazy and mildly incompetent. Or maybe they know something is wrong with the car I was looking at. Or maybe they dont know, because they dont really inspect them very well, and theyd rather not know.In any of those cases, I wouldnt recommend these guys. There are plenty of cars out there.

We purchased a 2003 GMC that had a $5000 injector issues and cracked windshield that they stuck the window sticker over so it could not be seen. proof that they knew about it and lied. We called dealer back to rectify the problem. Beings they say they warranty EVERY Vehicle for 3Mo 3000 Miles which is also a lie.they told us it had too many miles so it was exempt from their in house warranty We told them we wanted to work this out and didnt want to take any legal action and they hung up the phone on us twice and would not talk to us regarding any issues with the truck. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP. If you want to get ripped off this is the place!!!

Dishonest and Shady Dealership - I wont ever do business with them again, Id suggest you avoid them.I was car shopping for my parents who are both senior citizens. Perte had a car that looked really good and the Autocheck report came back clean. The salesman was nice and seemed like a decent guy.We test drove the car, a 2010, and it went well, and my parents decided they wanted to buy the car. Then things went down hill fast.First, the dealership had almost zero room for negotiation. They offered a 6,000 mile 3rd party warranty which we could opt out of to save a few hundred bucks, but we wanted the warranty. Their warranty is useless, but Ill get into that later. After purchasing the $16k vehicle, we took it over to DEQ to pass the emissions test so the dealership could finish the DMV paperwork for us. The vehicle was unable to pass the emissions test because the computer data had been cleared. We thought it was strange but the dealership had some excuse about disconnecting the battery during an inspection or something plausible along those lines. We shouldve handed the keys back then and gotten a refund.DEQ said we needed to drive it for a few days before the computer would have enough data. We did and it passed DEQ. After a week of driving we started having engine problems on a 2010 w/ only 68k miles.I called Perte immediately to ask about it and they wanted nothing to do with us. Their exact response was Good thing you have the warranty and then they hung up.So we took the vehicle into the dealership and two other shops to get it looked at. None of them would honor the warranty, we had to pay around $300 for inspections in which none of the shops found anything wrong (despite engine codes for cylinder 3 and 4 misfires). The work wouldve been covered under the warranty if they found something.Magically, were out of warranty and now we know what the problem is, and weve had to pay a few hundred dollars again for an inspection and repair costs. According to three different shops, the evidence suggests that Perte cleared the engine codes before the test drive. As it turns out, the engine misfires repeatedly and triggers error codes about once per week. We never should have bought this car nor gone to Perte.Perte Auto Sales customer service is disgraceful and epitomizes the very reason so many people despise car salesmen and the auto industry. Even worse is the fact that their is a strong likelihood they knew about this problem and covered it up, then took advantage of a retired senior citizen couple.Dont even consider doing business with Perte Auto Sales, youre setting yourself up for being taken advantage of by a dishonest and shady business. I have no respect for people, business, or organizations that take advantage of customers - especially senior citizens.

I went to Perte because they had three cars I was interested in looking at - Miata, a 350Z, and an S2000. Their ads are all over auto-trader, indicating they are in the business of selling cars.Upon arrival, however, I was greeted by a man who seemed to have been doing something very important and was unhappy I had interrupted him. I dont know who he was, because he didnt give me the obligatory name-exchange and hand-shake.I told him what I was interested in. He got out the keys and awkwardly followed me around while I sat in each car. I eventually got into the S2000, and found I liked the seating position a lot. I also liked the noise it made, but the salesman yelled at me for reving the engine while it was cold.I told him I wanted a test drive. His response? Youll need to fill out a credit app.Excuse me? I thought you were in the business of selling people cars. Places that sell people cars want people to drive those cars so they might become interested in buying them. Not these guys.I told the salesman I wasnt interested and left. I dont think he could have cared less. Which is fine - Ill just go find an S2000 somewhere else. Just be fore-warned that you shouldnt waste your time coming to Pertes unless you dont have financing and want to fill out a finance form before even taking a test drive.
