Did some great work on my dads Celica. The remote start was done clean and has lasted through a couple winters so far. Loving it. Would highly recommend him!
Awsome detailing and high end auto xtras the place to go for car care
The owner of the shop, Jeff, seems like a really cool guy. I needed a door seal replaced, he ordered it that day and got it put in the next day within 10 minutes. Sure, I had to wait 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment for Jeff to show up to his shop, but I wasnt busy and didnt think too much on it.I really should have though...So when my dear mother wanted to get some Bushwacker fender flares installed on her Jeep Rubicon, I told her to use Remote Start Magic. We order the flares from Bushwacker ourselves, and Mom figured that while the car was in the shop, might as well get Jeff to install some fresh BedTread floor liner.Instead of going with the BedTread though, Jeff convinced my Mom (grudgingly) to go with a cheaper molded vinyl floor liner. He offers to overnight ship the stuff to his shop for $120 extra so the job can be done before the end of the week. My mother tells him to wait, thinking perhaps we could get the stuff shipped cheaper, maybe Amazon. But Jeff went ahead and ordered the vinyl with expedited shipping anyways. Theres a phone argument, we tell him were not paying extra for shipping we didnt ask for, and he begrudgingly relents, but not without letting us know that he feels like were ripping him off...So the next day comes, we call, and the vinyl hasnt arrived. It doesnt arrive for three more days, which is when it would have gotten here WITHOUT expedited shipping. Jeff was rather unapologetic about it but my Mom had been without her vehicle for the better part of that week so we asked that he just get the work done as soon as he feasibly could. We check back the next day by phone and he says the work is going well, everything shaping up to be done the next day.The next day we get the call that the Jeep is done so we go and pick it up. At first glance and especially from the outside, it looked good. When you got a little closer you noticed little things like the turn signal wires that were supposed to be plugged into the lights on the fenders were just dangling in the wind. But the real mess was the inside. The guys at Remote Start almost entirely uninstalled Moms stereo. The deck was basically the only thing still in place, the speakers were in a pile, the subwoofer and box and been removed and placed behind the passenger seat, and the amplifier was teetering on top of the pile. As the shock started to turn into anger, we noticed that the floor liner looked very strange. Instead of being a vacuum formed fit to the contours of the vehicle (know, how its supposed to look), it was more like baggy elephant skin. Nothing really fit, it seemed like they had just wadded up a long length of vinyl into the floor space and then rough cut everything to sort-of-not-really fit with a razor knife. The wire harness thats usually tucked up into the steering column was dangling down by the gas pedal as well, just waiting for a high heel to get caught in it.When all this was brought to his attention, Jeff just started making excuses. The professionally wired and installed aftermarket stereo system was apparently done improperly, but Jeff was unable to describe how or in what manner. When asked why he didnt put the stereo equipment back in, he told us it was too dangerous due to whatever indescribable install he said he observed. So we bring his attention to the whole f***ed up floor liner situation. He takes a glance at the drivers side and says that he doesnt see anything wrong. After we press the issue, he tells us that it just needs a few days, for the car to heat up so the material relaxes a bit. We showed him pictures online of what a properly installed floor liner looks like, and then Jeff realizes he had other customers coming outside to stare at our little situation. He then demanded we leave the premises. We pointed out that we were all standing in a public parking lot, so Jeff responded by turning away. He walked to his shop, closed his door, and peeked out the blinds at us.He seems to have reviewed his own business. Jeffery Hall, 5 Star rating... Jeff Hall -Owner...
