I have my Subaru Outback serviced at Royal Moore Subaru regularly. The service department is excellent, service representatives keep me informed, and are responsive to my needs. The service records are kept up to date and complete. The staff are friendly and greet me by name. The new waiting room, for the service department, is comfortable, safe, and has Wifi, TV, coffee, and snacks. Restrooms are clean and accessible. I would highly recommend this dealership and service department to others!!

We were in Hillsboro for a family funeral this week. Last night, in our motel, my phone sent me a message that my Starlink has sent a message that my tire pressure light was on. Sure enough, we packed to return home (about 180 mi drive), and found the tire pressure light on. While my husband drove to the gas station, I looked up the Subaru dealer in Hillsboro. We drove into the service area, and explained our situation. The representative asked us to be patient while he moved the car in front of us. We pulled up, and in minutes he had checked all four tires, told us which one was low, and added necessary air. Because it was such a slow leak, we opted to return home where I can have my dealer repair it tomorrow.We were treated with courtesy, even though the chance of our returning to Royal Moore for service in the future is slim. Thanks! That small courtesy was important to us, especially with the circumstances of our presence in Hillsboro at that time.
The oil change and tire rotation were quick. I feel confident in the report on my vehicle’s condition. The staff were very professional. Overall, a great experience.

I had been shopping around town for a car for awhile and dealt with a lot of terrible places. These were big name places that were supposed to be reputable, but kept tacking on hidden fees without explaining and trying to hide them. One dealership even doubled the taxes and DMV fees citing that me having my own financing doubled the costs. I started working with Art at Royal Moore Subaru and it was a much better experience. He had the car waiting and ready to go as soon as I showed up to go for a test drive. It was quick and easy and he explained everything to me including all the applicable taxes and fees. Im happy to say I have a new Forester to drive around in and I couldnt be happier. I would definitely recommend going in and seeing them.

Absolutely useless.Been here a few times and each time wasnt good. Came into today for an oil change and tire repair, they did the oil change but not the repair claiming they needed permission. Its one of the reasons I brought it in! Why didnt they even try to call? They just told me when I picked it up that it wasnt done.Came here before during the pandemic because of a recall from Subaru. There were clerks not wearing masks (and this was Way before vaccines were available) and the place was filthy. After getting the recall work done, we got a message several weeks later from the dealership saying we still needed to get the recall work done. I ignored it thinking it was a clerical mistake, but after todays service they couldve just not done it the first time.Next time Im going to Firestone or a quick oil change place.
The guys there are great and super knowledgeable. I appreciate their input in my decision. Hopefully Ill be getting a 16+ sti someday.
Shopping experience was excellent, Nathan and the staff at Royal Moore Subaru made shopping for my Subaru a nice hassle free experience. I was shopping for an 8 seat Subaru Ascent Limited all over the country from Alaska as these were not readily available here. I requested that all the paper work be ready for a speedy sign and drive away experience and that is what I received. Nathan answered all my questions over the phone and in person about the car and called a few days after I had driven the car back up to Alaska to see if I had any other questions or concerns about the car. Id highly recommend this dealer with there awesome Lifetime power train warranty, which was part of the reason I chose them.
There is such a world wind of difference in the way we are handled at this Subaru. Immediately they problem solved and made me feel heard. Justin was great to help and let me know that they were booked but still come in and we’ll figure out if it’s safe for you to drive.. the other Subaru didn’t even offer me that. Immediately the manager Greg let me know all was well and booked me within a week! Ty Greg & Justin! Then Sacramento was my person this past Friday and he made everything smooth. I didn’t have to wait they took care of me leaving the dealership and coming back to the dealership (service) with Lyft. Super cool, Sacramento made sure to help me in the future if anything else happened, and even though they couldn’t find the issue, they made sure that there was a guarantee for the next time (if there were to be one) to have it looked at. Just really amazing customer service from everyone I interacted with! My husband was so relieved and said next car we get should be from them! Ty again Subaru team at Royal Moore!

DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS PLACE! I only wish I could leave Royal Moor Subaru a 0 star review. Saul Hernandez contacted me about buying my 3-year old car through my ad on Craigslist. I was completely honest with him about every aspect of the car. (Since I bought it from the leasing company, I had their detailed written assessment of its condition.) Then, when I got there, his sleazy manager Clint Edwards made me wait and wasted a bunch of my time before going back on the agreement and trying a bait-and-switch lowball offer. GO ELSEWHERE if you value your time and don’t want to get ripped off!

No joke, we paid a deposit to have a certain trim package delivered. When our salesman went to fill up the gas tank for us to take it home, he drove off from the fuel pump with the nozzle still in the car. This damaged the vehicle in two spots fairly significantly.They actually had asked if we wanted to buy that one after they fixed it. HA! Thats how they would spend 40k I bet, right?We arrived for our appointment. Everything was going fine. They did low-ball on our trade in, but we were expecting it. Then, bam, after 5 hours they break our car.I will give some credit, they offered and tried to find a replacement, as well as offered an additional $500 off for the hassle.They found one, but it ended up being closer to our home, so we cancelled with them and just went and bought it from the closer dealer.Accidents happen.

I needed to bring my Subi in for some work and needed my car back by a certain time. My service tech was Sacramento, and he made sure my car was ready at the time I specified. Overall a great experience!
I have been a customer at Royal Moore Subaru since I bought my first Outback in 2002. They have been my choice for service to all three of my Subarus. The service writer has always listened to me when I am trying to describe issues (very few) and they have always allowed me to stay ahead of any major service issues my car could have. There have never been any SURPRISE service needs. My current Outback is a 2010 with almost 170,000 miles on it and I anticipate keeping it for a few more years, after all ... it has new tires and brakes now.

Royal Moore always seems to have the best prices around. I’ve bought 2 cars from these guys and even had some upgrades done to my Crosstrek recently and they were fairly priced and really took care of us even lending us a loaner car for free while they worked on the car for the upgrades and recalls. I wasn’t a fan of Royal Moore Mazda but Subaru has it right.

I had an appointment for routine maintenance on my Crosstrek this morning and everything went super smooth. I was in and out in less than an hour. My service rep, Justin, was friendly, helpful, and kept me updated throughout the process. The new customer lounge is really nice with a variety of seating options for comfort. Dont waste your time. I brought my car to them hoping to avoid the b.s. that comes with going to a smaller cheaper shop. Car was not starting so got it towed there on April 1st. When I brought it in I was hoping to get my car fixed asap. After a day or 2 I was called back by service rep. And he told me they were going to change some smaller parts and get back to me. Everything seemed fine, but a couple weeks passed and I never heard back from them. When I did hear back he told me those parts didnt change the issue. Then told me he ordered another part that would take a couple days to arrive and was sure to fix the issue. Well unfortunately I never heard back from the guy. Made plenty of calls and left a few messages and never heard back. Ended up having to take time off work to go in person and see what was going on last week.Its currently September 21st. After all that time nothing else has been done to car and now Im being told that the part that we were waiting for never got installed and that it will be an additional $2000. The problem is now that Ive been able to talk to a new service rep and technician, they are both telling me that after getting that changed it might not fix the issue. Too frustrated to deal with this place anymore. Went in to try and get the new useless parts that got replaced removed so I could take my car back. But was told by Bryce(new manager) that because they were electrical components he couldnt return them. So now I have to pay for parts and labor. Even after I talked to technician and he told me replacing those parts had no effect on the issue. This guy never even tried to come up with any solution. Just said only thing I could do was pay another 2000 and hope car worked after installing that part thats been sitting on the shelf since may.(even though they are not sure that will fix the issue). Or pay for parts and labor on parts I didnt need in the 1st place. Honestly one of the worst dealers Ive been to. Because they took so long to get back to me I went and got a Toyota 4runner. Was planning on selling one of my Bitcoin to get an STi. But think Ill just go get a Supra instead..Only good thing about this experience is that the Mechanic there that I dealt with Troy was really knowledgeable. As for the manager idk. Be careful seems hes more focused on hitting his numbers than helping find a solution with customers.
Nathan and Clint were wonderful. What we had negotiated over phone was exactly the deal when we arrived. Nathan worked hard to get us in and out quickly and was very knowledgeable about the car. Nathan even mailed me my snow pass I had left in my old Subaru which was much appreciated and great customer service!
I have to say, working with Johnny was an absolute dream! I wasn’t sure what I wanted and he helped guide me all the way through. I didn’t end up buying one today but because of how knowledgeable and helpful Johnny was I will definitely be back when they have one in the color and trim combo I want. The staff at Royal Moore only treated my father with respect and kindness, leading with empathy in a difficult situation. I had a 2005 Subaru Legacy that I was planning to sell, hoping to get at least $3,500 for, a little below blue book. The check air bag light had come on, which I hoped was under warranty since Royal Moore had installed a new one less than a year ago after a recall. When I brought it in to have it checked, they went over the entire car looking for other issues (I didnt even realize they would do this) and informed me that the head gasket was possibly leaking. They said this was a very expensive repair, over $3,000 because they would have to pull out the entire engine block to diagnose and then repair. Even if they pulled it out and found it wasnt the head gasket, that effort would still constitute most of the cost. So, essentially, I brought my car in for a check air bag light, and they came back to me with the news that my car was essentially totalled. Deciding at this point that the car was no longer worth the effort to try to sell for a few hundred dollars (since I would feel compelled to be honest about this news to a potential buyer), I decided to donate the car for a tax break in 2022. This was a huge hit to us, as I was counting on money from this car to help pay for our newer car. Fast forward a month, the car is donated, and I have since learned from other shops (I should have sought a second opinion earlier) that what Royal Moore told me about the only way to diagnose is to pull the entire engine block out is not necessarily true. So, I am left realizing that Royal Moores attempt to fleece me of my money has now cost me over $3,000. Long story short, will not be going back.

I went in for an oil change and the concierge noticed that the shifter on out Outback was stiff from a previous maintenance. They diagnosed and fixed the issue at no charge. I went in with a tire issue and came back with even more. First, they didn’t have and had to special order which took over a week. Then when I got my car back, the vent system was completely messed up. It sounds like a jet. The service manager was going to fix a month after happened which was already a pain not a big deal. Now I officially had my appointment and they don’t see what he noticed and are doing nothing but will if I continue to notice it.. be very careful.
