They were easy to work with and both the front desk staff as well as the mechanic were very nice and accommodating. I wasn’t sure about taking my car there at first but very glad that I did! I would use them again and recommend them to others!
Wheel bearing . So fast from phone call to service was maybe 3 hours and they had to have part delivered. Super good price as I had priced previously. Best place. Love them
We have been very pleased everytime we have brought our cars here for oil changes and other repairs. They do a good job and dont push you on getting stuff done on your car like the dealerships do. The even fixed a loose bolt on our car door that we never mentioned because we didnt think they did that sort of work. Above and beyond expectation in my books!
My truck had broken ball joint on the right front, it was a mess. Meineke was able to fix it in two days. Got my car back running great! Their people were great to deal with, they were also able to facilitate the price payments which I really appreciate. All in all they do good quality service and make your experience better. Thanks to all the people at 2901 SE 73rd Ave, Hillsboro!
I brought my car for brakes repair because of the vibrations which I felt after pressing the brakes. They said the problem was due to suspension which costed me $1587. The sound was still there when I picked the car. They asked me to bring the car the following day which I did. Got a call from them and they said that they had to fix the brakes. When I told them thats what I wanted initially. I was told that no one forced me to get my car fixed at Meineke, I could have taken my car elsewhere. Really !Thank you Meineke 1250.
They always do good work and are good at explaining what they did and recommend what still needs to be done. Labor prices feel high, but you know theyre doing a good job. Sometimes they quote shorter repair times compared to actual time taken.
Service done in a relatively prompt manner. Front desk woman wasnt particularly pleasant. I got the impression shed rather have been somewhere else, which I understand but I like to have someone at least seem appreciative while Im handing them money.
Brought in my car with no AC, charged a $135 diagnostic fee and then replaced my condenser. When picking up the truck the AC was still not working, despite it being on full blast, which means that someone attempted to see if their fix worked, and still sent it back to me despite it not being fixed. I now have to make another appointment with them to fix the AC again, and there are no discounts that theyre willing to apply for their own mistakes. I would give them 0/5 stars but Google wont let me. Avoid at all cost.
I took my 4Runner in, expecting to be charged the same amount as last, came back to a bill $40-50 more... asked them why and they said it was because they forgot to charge last time I came in. On top of that, they made me feel like they were trying to sell me anything and everything. I literally just had a brand new filter put in and they’re recommending a service for it and wouldn’t give me an answer when I asked if it actually needed it. They said because I requested a 100k tune up that they recommend it. I want a shop that will inspect things and not just recommend it just to recommend it. Multiple things on the 1500 quote were the same way, not necessary and just a selling tactic to make more money. At the end they tried having my buy more oilchanges up front for the “discounted” price... the price I payed last time and didn’t bother to mention I’d have to still pay the difference in oil on top of it. I left not very happy and will never recommend them. Did I mention I tried trusting them one last time after they blew up my mother in laws engine...... don’t use this shop. Go somewhere else. Trust me
Very professional and experienced staff. They did a fantastic job repairing my air conditioning on time, and with a new customer discount. I will definitely be using them again and couldn’t recommend them more.
Unwilling to do simple exhaust work. Not even a simple exhaust flare. Shop guys are great but women at counter wont allow them to perform this simple service. Use exhaust specialist in downtown Hillsboro instead. Awesome guys!
Great customer service. Thank you. I dont want to spell your name wrong but you always work the front desk and your so kind. You are great at your job thank you so much
Told me that both of my rear tires needed to be replaced. Took the car to Les Schwab and found out neither tire needed to be replaced, The people at meineke forgot to put the cap back on the valve, which caused air to leak out. The other tire was easily repairable by Les Schwab for free. These guys at meineke will rob you any chance they get. I suggest the meineke in Beaverton, he is way better there.
They were friendly, professional, and didnt try to upsell me with the whole Im amazed you even got here doom and gloom prognostication. I plan on taking the car back here any time I need work done. Great experience, overall.
Quick and affordable. Staff is super helpful and friendly.
Good experience with Meineke. My car was repaired promptly and the price was fair as compared to the dealership.
I was driving in 90 degree weather and noticed my van not blowing cold air in my car on a Friday I tried to schedule with my local Volkswagen service center. They where booked out 7 weeks! On Saturday I found my local Meineke website and scheduled an appointment for Monday. They were done in 45 mins. I am so greatful they were available today it is 100 degrees. They were also very pleasant to work with. I will be going back for any future routine maintenance services.
I’ve been using this Meineke location for oil change for many years, because of the oil change package, since the previous owner. They have always been easy to schedule, and the service was prompt. They also provided me quotes for any repair items needed.
Honesty. Quality work. Cant ask for more than that.Meineke (T.V. highway) has kept my vehicles in top running order for over 12 years. I trust them to do a superior job - every time! - and have not been let down yet.
I booked an appointment in advance, and was left waiting an hour and a half for only an oil change. I recommend calling ahead to see how far behind they are, even if you have an appointment schedule and show up on time. Pretty friendly staff although jot very good at communicating when things should be done, or that they are running behind.
Friendly, fast, were able to diagnose and repair an issue that another shop missed
They found damage from my last oil change at another place and worked on getting pieces of the disintegrated filter as best as they could with no extra charge. They told me about it and told me to come back in soon for another change. They could have left it like some shops would have but they were very helpful.
Went great, got a good deal on 5 oil changes for 165 bucks (full synthetic). Only downside was that they didnt plan ahead and get the filter for my Volvo ahead of time (to be fair, Saturday and I only booked 4 hours ahead of time). Its a rare engine so I get it- hope they keep one on the side for next time! ;)
Super nice family owned business. Super fair prices
I have been using Meineke for years on all of our cars and they have been pretty reliable and have competitive prices.
Had an pre purchase inspection done on a car I was going to buy, the checkin and check out person was extremely nice and friendly I would definitely use this company again
Great service. I received a phone call about my diagnosis of my car. Things that needed to be done, things that weren’t urgent etc. no pressure though. I needed a drive belt and the cost was under 1/2 of what I’d been quoted by another auto service. Got it taken care and I’m very happy.
Said entire distributor needed replaced so I had them do that ..2 days later exact same problem with car but now they said alternator need to be replaced..this time I said no ..I took it to a different mechanic and they said dont go to meineke unless its for a muffler.. stay away from Meineke... dont learn it the hard way like I did
These guys are just awesome, have taken my car for inspection. They gave me time at 9am appointment, everything was on time. John is a nice and helpful person, he explains everything so well. The workshop is maintained near and clean overall I had a wonderful experience. They let you know in advance about prices and all and let you decide if you want to take the service. Very very good people. Thank you John.
Great communication and easy process to go through!
Excellent, honest customer service! Had an emergency come up and had to leave our vehicle an extra day before picking it up. They were completely understanding and cared more about knowing that we were okay. Up front, no hidden costs, and got me the best prices available. Highly recommend!
Solid help we stranded are alternator plug had come loose and needed a jump the store jumper was low but Allen a tech used his own and saved the day thanks again to the nice staff going above and beyond 👍
Was offered coupon for the oil change that was cheaper than what I saw online. Issues found with my vehicle were same as what my dealer had flagged earlier. I liked the fact that they did not ask me to do unnecessary fixes and also the fact that they were able to find the right issues with my car. they were willing to work with me regarding the cost. Oil change was done promptly on time.
Everyone here was fantastic! I had broken down next door at the car wash and were extremely helpful! From coming to the car wash to give me a jump to replacing my battery. 10/10 would use their services again.
Great communication about our car and our options. Very professional.
Felt like they didnt do a complete job. They would walk away from my vehicle work on another one come back and not finish where they left off. Gave me a list of all these thing that needed to be fixed. Took it to another auto store and they said I got hosed. Loby not open so for 5hours I was in the rain and cold.
Had an appointment for an oil change. It took over 3 1/2 hours. Poor customer too.
The experience was good at Meineke. Very honest on what needed to be done. Thanks!😁
Very helpful and kindhearted people theyre very nice my first time getting an oil change and made my experience very joyful and easy. I like that they put a smiley face on my mileage sticker. And called me to tell me to be safe and have a great day very nice of them. Im for sure going back. Would 100% recommend going there. Also the price is very reasonable!!! 😁😁😁😁😁
Prompt and unbelievably inexpensive oil change. Friendly service and quality work.
Im sure that there is Covid restrictions that have to be set in place Company wide. However, for a rainy, windy and semi cold day having people wait outside in that weather condition is extremely unacceptable. We are extremely deep in the pandemic that spending nearly $500 to be able to move around for work(which I guess isnt your problem) is a lot right now. If you could have at least allowed 30min to wait inside until transportation was found especially during an unexpected truck break down would have been very much appreciated.
We got oil changes on two vehicles. We bought 5 for the price of 3, which was a good deal so we have 3 for a future date. However we had an apt at 11:30 am and we had to wait until 1:30 for them to finish. Next time will plan to drop off and not wait. Other than That good customer service from the service writer Chuck.
Took them a exhaust we ordered and they installed it for us! Great and friendly staff!
Update your computer system to provide up to date/faster service to customers. Provide more than a couple quotes from reasonable vendors.Stick to your schedule if you say the job will take up to an hour, do so. There are other areas where the rest of the time can be utilized to ensure you deliver great quality. Warn customers with regards to sitting/waiting time.
A bit pricey on the upsell, but they did what I requested at the agreed upon price and Im happy about that. No surprise charges. They did point out a bunch of necessary maintenance that I admit does need to get done, however I can do it for much cheaper because its mostly simple stuff that I can do Ive just been putting off.
I brought my car in to the shop early in the morning they were able to work on it right away, the part was available and it was replaced in a very short period of time, I was very please. The gentleman that did the work on my car showed me the old part and explain why it was defective. Everyone at the shop was very pleasant to talk to, I am sure I will bring my car back to them in the future. Thanks for a well done job.Dennis Graham
They lied about what was wrong with my car so they could make more money thank God I got a second opinion.
Great fast service. They went above and beyond to make my automobile run at the optimal level for factory settings. These mechanics are very knowledgeable and professional. I always trust and recommend them to anyone who wants outstanding service and quality work.
I have been there twice. After shopping around i found out they were the only ones in the area that would work on my van. I have been there twice due to that and looking for a financial deal. However, i qould recommend meineke on 73rd for people with 70s vehicles. They will special order parts, the mechanics are friendly and so is the new front manager. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program!
They were closed when I needed their services.
When two Les Schwabs wouldnt align my car after I replaced my own suspension. I took it to Meineke and not only did they do it. They went above and beyond doing so. And to top that cost was cheaper! I highly recommend this location.
I was just a delivery driver for Baxter Auto parts but I have noticed they seem to do good work.
I like to buy the package of 5 oil changes reasonable prices
Friendly, on time, fast workers
The website let me schedule a time on Christmas Eve where they were closed. They called me and were able to get me in earlier and quickly fixed my problem. Great job
I needed rear axle seals replaced on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I took it to one Meineke shop in town based on a quote I got over the phone. They put it on the rack and then called me to tell me that it was going to cost 3x as much to fix because there was gearbox oil on the brakes. If someone tells a shop that does auto repair that rear axle seals are leaking it shouldn’t be a surprise that there is oil on the brakes - it’s a physics thing. My only option was to either drive it away or pay them to replace the brake pads for an extra $500. For brake pads. He told me it was company policy that I couldn’t supply the brake pads and rotors - I had to use theirs. So I took it to a second Meineke shop to satisfy my curiosity about that - I’ve never heard a mechanic say I couldn’t supply my own hardware. They just won’t warranty hardware I provide for obvious reasons. This time the initial quote was higher but they said I could bring my own brake pads and rotors - they do it all the time. I knew the first guy was lying...I delivered the car, he called me back a few hours later and told me the price was going to be $500 higher because the bearings had to be replaced too... Bearings always have to be replaced when replacing rear seals because they are pressed on and have to be cut off with a grinder! Professional auto repair shop? He refused to stand behind his original estimate and told me I could come and pick up the car if I didn’t like it. I told him I was tired of the bait and switch routine which caught him by surprise. I finally asked him if he would honor his original price if I bought and delivered the bearings myself. He begrudgingly agreed but definitely wasn’t happy about it. 5 hours later it was finally done - 7.5 hours total.I don’t know how good of a job they did. This all happened yesterday. I do know that a company that does nothing but auto repair should expect that on a leaking axle seal job bearings will need to be replaced and that the only place gearbox oil can leak through the seal is into the brakes. The computer probably warned them too. 2 locations giving me a low quote then tripling it once the car was on the rack and disassembled is called bait and switch which is unethical at best.I will avoid Meineke in the future and you should too.
I’m here at Meineke car care Cent, to change my brakes and I read all the comments here and curious what will happen to my car. It all depends on how they deal with it. So not yet on to put my recommendation until they finish. We’ll see after they finish the inspection on my brakes 🤔
Great service with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Shelby and Matt have helped me both times. Very happy when I left both times. Followed Matt from the beaverton location. Was always happy with his work on both cars. Shelby helped me get a really sweet package deal on my oil changes. Will continue to go to them even though I live and work in Vancouver. Shelby and Matt have even kept up on masks and social distancing.
I’m currently working on repairs for my car and this entire team is super helpful! They have already fixed two of the three major problems with my car and I appreciate them for taking the time to do a good job. They have my trust because they’re all a dedicated bunch. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you need even the smallest repairs done!
Cant say enough about Jamie, Shelby & Jake. I brought in a very old RV that needed a ton of work. Some easy, some unforseen. I was in constant contact with Meineke and the staff mentioned above, and even though things were getting expensive, the team did everything to get my needs done. I love this RV and wanted it all in tip top form, and Im confident when I get back my ride it will be in tip top shape.Just having all explained to me as it goes was light years ahead of any service that I have received in the past.
Had thermostat replaced. Got it in the same day and completed it in a few hours. Would have given 5 stars, but was quoted one price, and had to pay a few dollars more.
Professional service quick and good I will tell a friend
Have been having most of my services done here. Competitive pricing and excellent quality. Cannot recommend them enough.
Scheduled an appointment for a muffler replacement, knowing I needed my muffler replaced. I had already been up under my vehicle repairing a heat shield and found an obvious hole in my muffler. Drove 60 miles in from the coast just to be told it wasnt my muffler but my catalytic converters...because there was no exhaust pressure from the tail pipe. Im not a mechanic but my guess would be there would not be pressure if there was a MASSIVE hole in the top of the muffler . Even after talking to the mechanic and telling him exactly what I had seen and exactly where the hole was, he said my muffler was fine and it was going to cost $3000 to start replacing the catalytic converters, and might cost as much as $5000. I opted to leave and drive back to the coast because there was no convincing these people. Not about to spend thousands for something that didnt need to be replaced in the first place. Maybe try listening to your customers a bit, we may actually know what we are talking about every once in a while.I wound up just ordering the parts and replacing the muffler myself (parts cost less than $200.) When I pulled the old muffler I found the hole was far worse than I thought, nearly the whole top of the muffler was corroded away... but the visible portion of the interior of the catalytic converter was clean and intact!
Same day repair to my exhaust system. Did the job fast and exactly as needed for the situation. Very happy with the service received.
My Car was at there shop over a month. Just for a lose Timing Belt. and when the mechanic was done it was worse. Smoke Engine light blinking. No power . they told me my head was damage needed work But didnt put it back together right say the price 3000Yep and I got my money back .But a car that I had to take too a New Shop .4000 Worth of damage done .. The owner Chuck said thats how I brought it in . Nice try to save a law suit by giving my money back and rushing the car out the door .. Be careful with this shop I dont want this to happen too u
Kiana and Jamie were both great and professional! Kiana explained the issues with my car in a way that made sense, and helped me with financing when my repairs were way over my budget.
I will likely never go yo any Meineke or buy any product from them after an experience I had with the woman at the front counter that was small but yet maddening. I had called a few shops and asked for a price to weld on a CAT I installed partially. I was quoted 75 to 100 bucks. When I called you I couldnt get a quote over the phone but she said to bring it in. After about 20 mims they called me and said it would be 270. I told them it was outrageous and I was coming back to get my car. Without skipping a beat the price dropped to 135. This tells me that the 275 was BS. Therefore I will avoid this place for my future repairs.
Very helpful staff
Service was good but the rate was super expensive. They answered all my questions well and trust I asked many so I think they know what they are doing but would do some more rate comparisons before coming here again
Great last minute service to complete front brake and rotor replacement at a fair price on time. All COVID-19 safe procedures followed.
Paid a little more than I wanted to but service was very efficient and I was kept informed and updated throughout the process.
Very nice people at the counter! They took good care of my ride (fixing the A/C) and were clear as to what was needed and the pricing — no surprises. And...they were kind enough to call afterwards to ensure all was good. A very thorough and great crew. I am highly satisfied!! Thanks for the fix!!
Performs miscellaneous performance checks at each oil change. Customer service is great. I have taken my vehicles to only Meineke for the past few years and have never had an unfavorable experience.
This shop made mistakes on my brake job, but at the end of the day....they made things right. I cant ask for more than that.
Convenient location, friendly staffs and work done in an efficient manner.
Brought springs and shocks to have assembled and was quoted $120 an hour or something like that. Hour and a half later my coilovers were done and I picked them up. Got home and upon inspection of them I noticed that they were assembled completely wrong and they were scratched. They fixed them the next day but only refunded me $80. I was going to have them do a lot of work such as install my headers and exhaust but the only way I would go back would be if they gave me a significant discount.
Super friendly, helpful, professional people. Good quality work, always honest assessments of how my car (Ruby) is doing... and they remember her name! 😁
Pleased with the quality and quick service.
Shelbey and the crew at Meineke 1250 in Hillsboro were awesome! They took the time to find the best prices for parts and had the brakes done on my daughters care same day!I recommend them 100%
My family has 3 cars that this location regularly takes care of. I keep coming back because the service is good and the prices are fair. There are some negative reviews posted, but I have to say I have never experienced anything like that. I have an older Lexus. I take it here because they save me money over the dealership price with the same great quality.
June 6th 2020Shelbey, the store manager, was very informative of the recommended repairs and helped me make an informed decision of which repairs to prioritize with safety as a top concern. Having two children, their safety is paramount. Thank you so much for your outstanding customer service while prioritizing my familys safety. I will be returning in the future for regular maintenance and repairs.July 6th 2020Return Visit: Brought in another vehicle for power steering work; same exceptional quality of service. Thanks again!
They were really helpful and made adjustments that fit my budget, but still got me safety back on the road.
They did great work on my vehicle, even finding some much needed maintenance that I was unaware of. They were very helpful and cooperative on specific repair items & the price charged.
Great customer service and they are prompt to get the work done!! thank your for your help.
My Fiancé had her daughters car checked out there because it seemed to overheat. They ran 3 tests, only charged me for ONE... figured out the cause and fixed it!! The other texts gave us confidence in the car, so that we knew it was in good shape. The lady up front was super helpful and knowledgeable!! VERY NICE PEOPLE at73 rd and tv hwy In Hillsboro. GOOD PEOPLE
Got new air filters, oil change and battery, quick and easy, thanks Shelby and the rest.
Great experience with fixing 2 issues my truck had (AC and ABS). Days later, I even got a call to make sure all the work done in my truck fixed the issues
They have the best customer service, fare prices, availability and turnaround time.
Avoid this place. Doesnt honor the appointment, has no ethics for customer service. the owner lies on the face. How can one trust it. I had an appointment for oil change at 4PM. Arrived there on time, the person first made me feel, that the appointment was really at 3PM and that there is no appointment listed in his system after 3PM, when confronted, said his system doesnt show the appointment, when checked into the system, it shows up correctly at 4PM, then he says the software is all messed up, a story he made up on the fly, since the appointment was scheduled 5 days ahead of time, he knew all along that it was at 4PM only, a fact further reinforced with his effort in trying to misrepresent the scenario. Says, he has sent his mechanic home, so cant do it, should come next time. No regrets, no apologies to have made an hour of my time wasted in the middle of my work hour. A place like this where the owner feels no shame, no regret, and no apologies, and tries to falsify a simple thing such as appointment, one can imagine where all that type of falsification can go, since one is trusting them with their parts, and replacement. I have a service package bought from the place, but will not use it anymore, I know will lose value associated with the service I have already prepaid, but this is just not the right way to deal with customer. I wish there would have been atleast some regret, and apologies for the most unethical behavior I have seen.
First time to Meineike. Great experience. Ill be back for sure!!!
I have been using Meineke Car Care for a few years now, and have always received the best in care. Thanks Meineke
It seems like every time I come to get my repaired, another thing breaks down. I recently took my car to this location and the manager was very accommodating. I had my power steering fixed due to a leak. After a week, my car was leaking again. I took my car to another authorized mechanic and they found that the hose clamp and the hose installed was damaged upon installation. They described that whoever installed the pump and hose did a quick and dirty and ended up damaging the pump. It has been a wild ride and I will not be bringing my car back to Meineke. I will be contacting customer service for a refund. Also, I tried to call the Customer Service number and I was on hold forever. They could not be reached.
Gal at the shop was awesome. Sorry didnt remember her name.
Always friendly and helpful. My go to place for my car needs.
What a great shop. had a coupon for a oil change, thought I would give them a shot rather than my usual trip to jiffy lube.what a great deal! true professional mechanics changing the oil and inspecting my car rather than the kids at jiffy lube cranking out 500 cars a day.while they did the oil and inspectionthey guys found the brakes were bad, and the shocks were close to needing to be replaced.I found them to be trustworthy and honest, they even went as far as to take me into the shop and show me the parts that were bad.so I went ahead and did the brakes, the shocks will have to wait till next month. price was great, service was FASTfast, professional, honest service.what else could you ask for?-customer for life
Price was great, the service is professional, and honest. I had very good experience working with Meineke SE 73rd ave. This is my second experience with Meineke - went there the first time to have brakes done. Price is at the market level and the service I received from Steve and Jeremy is definitely fantastic. In this business..... HONESTY is the key to keep customers happy. So far, I find it here.... Thanks Steve and Jeremy for helping this place a 5 star car maintenance.
Ive never been to this location and I never will. Less than an hour ago I had a man knock on my door to tell me about this business. Though I was not interested and standing outside in order to keep my dogs in, I was polite and listened. I am new to owning a car, so I have typically gone to businesses they recommend to me.When he asked me where I go for oil changes, I couldnt recall the name of the place (having only been once), but I do remember having a positive experience there. He snapped back my response to me dont know, but youre happy there? Okay. And stormed off while mumbling to himself. So I called after him, excuse me? And he goes off on me how I couldve just said I wasnt interested and didnt have to lie to him, as though I had listen to his spiel for 20 minutes when the conversation was definitely under one minute.I didnt lie. I in other words did say I wasnt interested. This guy has issues and clearly doesnt belong in a position of customer service. He seemed friendly at first but proved quickly what a disguise that was.
The staff was great. I will be going back for future repairs.
