I prefer Home Depot over Lowes any day. They have a much better tool selection, and items seem to be easier to find. They carry the better brands of tools as well.

Search for tires online, compare prices online, purchase online, and schedule appointment online for install. Entire process is painless, takes way less time then if you had to call to check availability and prices and took about 30-45 minutes to complete. You get a text message when your order arrived and another one reminding you of your appointment. You check in when you arrive, are told when they will start your work and give you an approximate time when it will all be completed. About 90 min later I was on the road again. Overall a painless and pleasant experience. I will be back.

A huge thank you to a couple of employees today who went above and beyond! After picking up my car for a rotate and balance I remembered that my spare tire was stuck and asked if they could get it off and put it back under the car the right way. And after struggling with it, because it was really jammed, they managed to get it unstuck and back on properly! It was right before closing time, so I really appreciated it! Such a blessing!

Visited twice in last 2 months to get my tires (budgets) anyway, both occasions were fast, friendly and easy. I got a full set of falcons. Only con, tires I picked make a bit of road noise. However, they handle great and cant wait to drive the gorge in heavy rain to see how they handle. Im guessing it will go well. These tires are wider groved for rain ... I would recommend Discount tire.

I have been going to them for years and have never experienced anything but above and beyond service. Today I had my car towed in without an appointment, called ahead to let them know it was on the way and they were very accommodating. I had a nail in the tire, they patched it and when they went to take it to the parking lot they found a nail in a different tire and fixed that as well. Thank you for the attention to detail!!! Pick up was easy, I showed up, they gave me my keys, nothing due and I was on my way. I just have to say that this was a very positive experience for me! I was getting an oil change at my dealership and they noticed that I had a slow leak in one of my tires that couldn’t be patched up and they recommended that two of my tires needed to be replaces ASAP. So I quickly called Discount Tire because for one I’ve been there before and remember them being reasonably priced. I called and got all the information I needed and was able to take my car in the same day in fact within the hour of the phone call. I was also in and out before an hour was up! Amazing! Also, what a great price on a set of brand new tires! I got the warranty on them too just in case something happens and it’s a lifetime warranty!!! What?!?! The people there were extremely friendly and helpful when explaining everything to me! Thank you discount tire! I will be coming back and recommending others!

Took me as a walk in and fixed my tire, which had two screws in it, for free. Literally 0 dollars. Ive never used a Discount Tire before, and have never made a purchase, but they fixed me for free anyway.Additionally, staff was friendly, attentive, mindful of social distancing, and good spirited.I really cant imagine being more satisfied with my experience here.

Free tire repair! They have repaired two tires for free in two weeks. They took extra care to do a nice job. They checked and filled all tires to the recommended settings and checked all lug nuts for tightness. Nice service. I will continue to use them for all my tire needs!

When my Grandparent started this company they cared about appointments and delivering a service that made the customer feel good about their purchase. Yesterday I made an appointment for today to get new tires at 1:30pm I got here at 12:30am to insure I got in on time to be able to go hunting after this, I also prepaid for my purchase. It’s now 2:00pm and I see many other non appointment customers driving in and getting service before me. 2 stars might be generous for this location and their lack of respect for my time and energy.

These guys service is lacking and they try to upsell you on products you dont need. They quoted me almost $900 for four tires after I got a flat tire. I went elsewhere and only paid $20 to get the tire patched. I know they were technically following policy but its not going to be the most helpful ace for a customer.

They showed me some issues with my vehicles wheel balance, gave me some knowledge and sent me out the door. My car is now driving smoother then originally. For that I thank you guys! Honest & fast. No high pressure sales.

I pulled up to get a flat fixed, find out they are open by appointment only. I did not have an appointment but they put me in the queue anyway. The shop was slammed, all 5 bays going non stop. I waited in my car for about 10 minutes, then they came and guided me into bay 2. I stayed in my car for the whole visit. I watched these guys at work, rather than space out staring at my phone. These guys flat out HUSTLE! It was a pleasure seeing a group of young men work together as a team using clear communication, positive reinforcement and sharing knowledge. Ive been a Les Schwab customer for over 20yrs, but when it came time to buy new tires for my 4runner, Les Schwab didnt carry the brand I wanted. So I figured Id give Discount Tire a shot. Im glad I did :-)

I do not understand how this could happen, but it did. I did the phone app check in as ask on the door. Per Covid-19. The app said i was #1 in line. So i walked in and had a seat. I notice they had a few customers. 3. So i wait for 25 minutes. During this 25 minute wait i wasnt greated or ask if i need any help. Even after all three customers that where at the desk had been fully cared for. Okay i get it im not a king but have some customer service support. I would show you i wait for 389 minutes with no phone call. They are even closed and my phone still has the open ticket..

They have no idea what their doing. I ordered my tires on Friday took my 750i there on Monday and after two hours they called me and saying that we cant install your new tire because your car has wheel lock!!!! Well you guys are in business over 40 years and you suppose to tell your customers before wasting their times. I dont recommend these guys at all and I replaced my tires at Costco with lower price and better customer service

Don’t waste your time making an appointment. I was told to make an appointment and it has been over an hour and I haven’t been seen.

In desperation we bought 4 used tires here since it was within our price range. To be fair, they were friendly, and looked at our brakes and said they looked great (we had just re-done them a month ago but didnt say anything) so that part was a plus. I dont know much about tires so the ones we were showed looked good to my limited knowledge, and we bought the set for $500. Later when we got home we realized these tires were dated 2004. They are 14 year old tires! We were not told that information. The tires also had enough sidewall cracking on them (that I didnt know to look for) that my mechanic friends all said the tires were a huge safety hazard and not to drive my kids on those tires. So now Im stuck, out $500 I couldnt afford, with tires I am too scared to drive on. I learned my lesson the hard way, these shops will put the safety of your children at risk without second thought =/ Ill be saving for new tires as best I can now.

Management/scheduling/customer service = 1 starTire service = 5 starsI had an appointment for 4pm to get 2 new tires and a rotation. I arrived at 3:47pm (they ask you to arrive 10 mins early), checked in, and paid for my service. I was told they would have my service completed by 6pm because they were busy. This was quite the change considering I was told the service would take an hour at most when scheduling the appointment.I was then asked to park my car and wait for an associate to lead me into the bay. After waiting in my car for an hour, with no updates, the car next to me (which had checked in after me) was pulled into the bay. I decided to enter the lobby to make sure everything was ok.I informed the associate behind the counter about the wait and asked if everything was still on track. He flatly and rudely replied I told you it would be done by six. While this is true, it would have been nice to know that the service itself wouldnt start for over an hour. Overall, this employee seemed like he couldnt care less about me as a customer, the wait, or any inconveniences the delay may have caused.Eventually, I was led to the bay and the service began. I cannot give the employees that performed the service enough praise. They had the entire service completed in 12 minutes. The bay employee that talked to me during the service was kind and sincerely apologetic regarding the wait. These employees are the only reason Im not giving this review one star. If it were purely based on them, it would be 5 stars.It is hard to understand how their appointments got so far behind when their service workers complete the job so quickly. I cant help but feel the management and scheduling coordinators are to blame.

Talk to John I believe one of the managers looked at the tires I had looked like the rubber was separating on the steel belt he adjusted the cost left with a whole new set of tires very happy with the service and the quality and workmanship of mounting the tires and installing all the workers are very efficient and they know what theyre doing when it comes to the safety of your tires and the safety of your family I believe these guys do the job right very happy with the job I got Ill be back

I knew exactly what I wanted and they had it and wrote it up for me I was in and out in 5 minutes. We Mount our own tires and balance them oh, and they had no problem with that. Some shops dont sell you the tire unless they install it. Not to go with Discount Tire. I buy all my tires there

What a terrible place. Tried to help a stranded woman who had a flat tire by bringing in her wheel and tire. The service rep was a rude salesman named John. He refused to replace the tire saying it was not safe as the rim had the wrong lug nut pattern for the car. How could he possibly know what aftermarket work was done to this vehicle without seeing it? He then said that he would only give us a new tire if we bought a new rim too. This is obviously an up-sale tactic. Avoid this place! Lots of other helpful and friendly paices to go.

Been going to Discount Tire for years between Arizona and Oregon. My latest experience was excellent. Made an appointment on line for a screw in one of my tires. The crew here brought my car straight in and got it fixed in 20 minutes. The best part was they didnt even charge me for it!

Very happy with my experience with discount tires in Hillsboro. They were able to get the unusual tire size I needed the day I called them. I set and appointment for noon but came in early, they took care of me no problem. Would recommend and would definitely go back. Note that some tires may not be in stock and it is better to call ahead or use the web site to verify that your choice of tires is available. Note that you can ask for price matching if you can find a place that offers a lower cost for the tires of your choice. I found the manager of this store to be a good communicator and very accommodating when the tires that I ordered went out of stock. I was offered better grade tires for the same price of the tires that I ordered prior to my appointment would have cost. Overall, I liked the win-win situation.

I looked on line and found the tires at the same price as Tire Rack. I bought the General Graber HTS60 for my 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 due to the good rating at a decent price point. They didnt have the tires in stock but had them the next day by noon and called me. They told me a time when they would be done installing them and they were done with in 2 minutes of that time. We use Discount Tires for almost all of our personal and business tire needs.

They are awesome!!! They balanced my tires for free even though I did not buy these tires here. Several months ago on another car I have that have tires purchased from here had a screw in it. They fixed the flat and the next day the tire was flat again. Along the way there was a problem with the lug nuts being out on too tight but discount tire went above and beyond and fixed everything. They are all about customer service and making you feel great about your experience!

I can’t recommend this place enough. I noticed of my front tires was low yesterday and I had to drive back to Seattle that night. I brought my car here and they fixed it in less than an hour (found a nail in the tire and patched it) free of charge. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I’ve always received fantastic service from the staff here. There prices are better than most and the service is excellent! I would have given them 5 stars except 2 of the last 3 times that I’ve purchased tires here they had to order them from another store and it took over a week.

Quick service quality care

I would have given 5 stars but the reason I went back was for an issue I had. However, Daniel one of the managers fixed everything. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had our issue resolved and left us in a better situation than before. Incredibly grateful for a person working for a corporation that still cares about the people they deal with.

I had to go in and get new tires placed on my car after a rough day of bad luck. Patrick and his crew did a great job of doing what I asked for (2 new tires) but also noticed that my other 2 tires were pretty much toast (I knew this, but couldnt afford to get the other 2 at this moment.) Patrick was able to get me some used tires that were in better condition to hold me over until I come in to replace them.
