Home Depot is always interesting to go to. Usually associates milling around stocking and whatnot, until you need one. Either they dont know the answer to your question, not familiar with product location, and eager to get someone else to help you out, and then you never see them again. Best bet is to use the mobile app to locate and purchase what youre looking for. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy shopping Home Depot. They pretty much have everything you may need for your projects. Just know where to look.

Looking for a new garbage disposal. They had about 6 options. As my brother tells me to get the highest horse power...

Fine for any fixup needs. A bit hard to find things unless you look online first for their location in the store. Prices can be higher or lower than even right next door.

Covid has made this a very strange experience in the past. Help is still hard to find, people that know what theyre talking about are harder to find.That said, the merchandise online is easy to find in the store if you order online or know that its in the store. Things to be delivered to your house, or they can have it ready for you to pick up.Ive been in the process of moving and painting. They will send out pints of paint, or large samples. Painting supplies can be sent in kits directly to your house also. In my particular case, I can pick out things here, and then have them arrive at my new house. Overall its been quite a help. Also, quite a bit thats available online but you dont see in the store, it can come to you, no shipping charge and it can be returned to the store.Handy.Overall my experiences there are quite good, and I could recommend them, very much.

Friendly and willing to help staff, they go above and beyond to get you what you need. Three of staff were looking for stuff I asked them nicely which was absolutely pleasant to shop at this store. Cashiers are quick and friendly. Overall one of the best home depot stores around. Thumbs up for these guys.

I hate to do this! As you can see most of my reviews are positive. I cannot give a good one this time. Customer service was atrocious possibly the worst Ive ever experienced in a store like this. I am pleased they had the product I was looking for but Ill buy elsewhere next time even if it means waiting. First and last time customer all in one trip!

Sizeable store with large variety of items and knowledgeable staff. The service provided is excellent.

Incompetence on a grand scale. I wanted a hot water heater. Thats it. Just a hot water heater. The folks in plumbing were completely unhelpful. I told them the hot water heater needs to have forced venting; a fan in the exhaust. They acted like theyd never heard of such a thing. They finally gave up trying to help me and just put me in touch with their contractor. The contractor proceeded to try and gouge me by saying the installation would be 3k - 5k. Finally found a competent independent contractor in the town where I live and am getting the hot water heater installed tomorrow.

Amazing. I needed to rent a tiller for some mild yard work. As soon as I walked to the rental area 2 men were ready to immediately help me and answer all my questions. The process was so efficient and fast and the service so professional, it was worth driving the extra 20 miles to get to just that Home Depot!

Been trying to do a simple return/exchange for an hour now. Associate (Gemma) doesnt seem to know how, and keeps walking off to help her coworkers. After an HOUR, she advised me that I would have to go to the original location I purchased from. Literally the first thing I asked her. Thanks for wasting my time, Home Depot!

Home depot has never been known for great customer service. Today I walked in asking someone for help looking for an item. He had a walkie talkie couldve asked the whole store if anyone knew where to find the item. Instead said he didnt know and walked away.... just like that.

I took my saw to exchange and its been three days and 6 hrs of my time and still have not got it back. They lost it and no one seems to know what happen to it. I have all the paper work and its been nothing but a hassle.

Lucky I had a disability cart waiting when I walked in. Yes, I walk unless its more than half a block, then forget it. Looking for what is need is hit and miss unless you know the store really well. Associate did direct me. In and out, worked out fine. Enter through Minter Bridge Rd.

Nothing but issues with our floors ordering which is now 3 months late. Took 4 delivery attempts to deliver all of our product after they failed to deliver all of it in the first two trips. No call back from management to deal with the issues and 0 follow through. Get your shovels here, but dont use them for anything else if you value your sanity.

This is Tool Time! The best prices on tools and batteries etc for every guy and gal who loves their tools is during the season from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Its time to stock up now.

This is in no way a reflection on this particular stores, the folks who work there have always been great, but a reflection of the credit services. I found out today they slashed my credit limit by 5k. When I called to find out why they stated it was due to inactivity and I had received a letter notifying me of this. I never received a letter, an email, or a call. The rep was rude and dismissive. Because of our interaction and the basic dismissive attitude I chose to close my account completely. I’ll just take my business next door.Truly disappointing.

I like the store. Generally the people are friendly, but there have been a few that dont care and get frustrated that I need something.

My favorite Home Depot to go to. Being literally next door to Lowes probably has something to do with how responsive staff is and how easy it is to price match here. Even if that is the reason a good store is still commendable.

Home Depot is usually pretty awesome. I live on 185th and TV highway and its too far to the closest one. But theyre open late at least later than Ace hardware is.

Bob was awesome. Went above and beyond to explain lots of details and show us things we wouldnt havent known or thought of.

Last year I built a nice custom shed and used all Home Depot materials. They were fantastic with curbside pickup making it possible. I was going to send them a picture of the shed and a big thanks for the help.

6 crescent wrenches that Lowes didnt have in stock...

I am not talking about this particular location. The store I visit most frequently is in Hillsboro located on TV hwy. Absolutely the worst costomer service ever. No one will answer the phone. I was sold a new dishwasher at a sale or reduced price because they did not have the model I came for in stock. However, when we got it home and unpacked the box we discovered water in the box and tubing. So it couldnt have been new. Since it went into a rental unit that was unoccupied, it was a while before it was actually tested out. It did not wash the dishes well and it does not dry them, no matter what setting its put on. Come to find out, it was a broken machine that was probably returned.Secondly, we bought new cabinets they included in my order a cabinet they said was returned but had no markings on it and took 20$ off the price. Well after installed we see the door is slightly warped. That of course is not what I wanted to see.I just dont trust them anymore they are trying to get rid of broken and inferior products and I think its a bit dishonest in the way business is done. Maybe the staff did not know the items they sold me were defective...so there should be a system set up whereby they keep thier defective products where they are not mistaken as good.Well, Between these to happenings, Im out about 400$ plus need to buy a new dishwasher. I avoid this store particularly when remoleling my properties.

Not always the friendliest not always the most helpful yeah thats about it. But they do have what I need. I found that if I order online and just pick it up at will call its much easier than trying to find it in the store.

We have been specifically going to Home Depot within the last year since we bought our new home. I have read or heard somewhere that Lowes is more expensive but dont take my word for it and we really need to check that out for ourselves! Anyway, I would have given them 4 or 5 stars had their customer service staff been attentive and knowledgeable. Moreover, it took us a lot longer to find someone who at least, could find an employee in the department that we were interested in to come to our aid. After what seemed like a lifetime and to our dismay, realized that the employee had very little knowledge in the item we were interested in. This has happened on more than one occasion so it always took us twice as long to find what we needed!!! I know this happens at other large stores as well, especially with the covid-19 in our midst so if youre looking for something and you need more information before deciding to purchase, it would save you a lot of time and perhaps money as well if you would perform a Google search on your smart phone or go to YouTube to learn as much as you can about the item youre interested in so you dont spend unnecessary time at Home Depot!

Sad that this store is understaffed and that I had to use one of those really tall stair ladders to grab a drill from up high since no one was around to help. There were a few customers around me and I said you just have to do it yourself bc if you dont you wont be able to buy power tools that are locked up.

This is the good one in the area. There is a reason the store next door that does the same thing always has good parking spots available.

Thank god for these folks! they allow overnight parking in the far NW corner of their lot (or at least, they apparently either overlook it through apathy, or overlook it through understanding of the plight of those of us who are forced by circumstance to live in our RVs).but you cant just straight-up post up there, you should only stay one night (and only if you absolutely HAVE TO) and then takeoff in the morning. (hopefully after going inside there and buying something, i always do when i have to park overnight there.)in closing, what im sayin is, dont blow up the spot, and dont abuse their discretion... and if you find yourself parking there overnight: do NOT mess with the other RVers present! we may be neighbors, but were going through it too, just like you are -- clearly were barely able to take care of ourselves, if even that -- were probably not in a position to help you out with anything, so asking/begging is not going to be a waste of time.oh yeah, also: the actual store has pretty decent prices on most things, and an impressive selection of items, and the employees, while not always knowledgeable about the things i ask them about, will go to more-than-reasonable lengths to provide helpful answers. go shop there, they deserve your business.

I recently purchased a dishwasher and I didnt think I need the power cord kit. Surprise! I needed it. There I was, with my kitchen torn apart and the cord was something that needed to be ordered, since it wasnt a standard stock item.I called the Hillsboro store to check with them and the appliance sales associate told me the same thing, and in addition to it needing to be ordered, I needed to order it at the store. So, I headed to Hillsboro. When I got there, Bob the appliance associate told me he had called around and FOUND one in Beaverton! This gentleman didnt need to do that, but he went above and beyond! My appreciation goes out to him, thank you.

I bought a sump pump, sump basin, and basin lid found all items on isle 40 after a helpful employee pointed me in the right direction.

They are closing at 5:30 and not 6:00 as listed online. They said on a call they would be open to 6, but after driving half an hour to get here they turned us away at the door slightly after 5:30. Be aware.

If it doesnt have what you need in stock, then Lowes is right next door.

I spent over $600 during my shopping experience there. I purchased a drill that unbeknownst to me did not come with a battery. I discovered later that the battery was sold separately. After further research I found that I could buy a drill through another resource a much cheaper cost. I attempted to return the drill to Home Depot along with other items. The total came to around $82. Home Depots return policy holes for purchase to have been made within 180 days identification, credit or debit card has a purchase was made with, and the receipt. I Mac all of the requirements According to the return policy. First V return clerk wanted to tell me that they had a 90-day return policy and that I was not within that time frame. looking at the receipt my purchase was December 27th I was Home Depot on February 11th its the store had a 90-day return policy I was still Within the 90 days. However that was not the case for the policy I felt was a really poor at 10 honor my return. Long story short I was told that Home Depot use independent contracted company makes decisions processes return. They have some off-site company making arbitrary decisions on who may return items what items may be returned and what type of return you will be able to play whether you get your money back or you are given store credit or they completely deny your return. That was what happened in my case after spending over $600 in there store to replace tool that has been stolen from my car. I purchased the tools to replace. The clerk told me that their computer wasnt letting her return my items. and when that happens there is nothing that she can do.. I asked her what that meant and she said that I was not able to return my item. Meaning I was not going to get those items refunded to me Norways I aint going to be able to get stay in store credit. What makes this evening where is the fact that they were not allowing me to return those items. Meaning I cannot return them they were I was stuck with him There was nothing they could do about it. This was how I was treated after spending over $600 in there store Matt every requirement in their stated return policy. This is how they treat there customers. I have never in my life ever has this happened to me or experienced this kind of or complete lack thereof should I say I will never ever shop at Home Depot again. Ever I hope that all of you read this review before you shot at Home Depot. If by chance you have an item that you need to return they have some independent arbitrary company making decision as to whether or not youre able to receive a refund and in-store credit and or even able to return your items.

Home Depot is Home Depot...Find what I needed nine times out of ten. Like the layout of the stores and how they flow. Customer service is typically about 8 or 9 out of ten. Overall usually a good experience.

Excellent assistance in getting our two new bathroom vanities down off the high shelves and onto a cart. Shout out to Dave Wilson in particular for great customer service!

Good house general items here

This is now my preferred store given their COVID-19 response in contrast to the Lowes next door. After an employee at the Lowes, not wearing a mask, was coughing all over without attempting to cover it. Also, this Home Depot is limiting the number of customers in the store at one time and that makes it easy to practice social distancing. The downside is that you have to wait in line, though usually not more than 10 minutes. Its much more comfortable and feels safer than my experience at Lowes. Worth it to me. I also like that they usually have a good selection of lumber. The employees are also courteous. Its a great overall experience pretty much every time I go.

Needed a dishwasher but they didnt have any on hand..

Im a general contractor and usually very busy, so I order online because I know it takes forever to get loaded. So Ive ordered 60 sheets of plywood ahead of time, and guess what, got to the store and waited 2 hour because they only have one guy that that could drive the forklift. Omg. No good.They need to be more efficient with contractors. I spend too much money here and its not fair to wait that long.

This is is an update of my original review. Good place for household and construction projects. It seems like Home Depot policy has changed since my original review was posted. I have noticed a significant change in the Minter Bridge road location. The staff has been definitely upgraded. I am particularly pleased with new staff members, many of them older, more knowledgeable and a lot more service oriented than the previous crew. This is a most welcome change for customers, since the current staff seems to be walking the merchandise isles more frequently and ask customers if they need help with their purchases. Amazingly, I found out that the staff members who approached me, knew their stuff very well and were actually able to give me practical advice related mostly to plumbing and electrical parts. I am more inclined to visit this store since with the more knowledgeable staff i can find what I need much quicker and feel happy about coming back home with all the pieces required for my home improvement projects in my bag.

Im a fan of home depot and seem to have a good time while Im at this store.

I have shipped here for years but a few months back they put the INSANE speed bumps in the parking. You have to literally stop and crawl over each one and they are about 30 feet apart. I have been avoiding the store ever since. Otherwise the place rates maybe 3 or 4 stars. Mostly ok. Nothing to rave about except covenant and they trashed that with the speed bumps. I will opt for anywhere else first. It would take no more time now to go an extra 3 miles to do the same shopping due to this slowdown.

Home Depot supported tromp so I only go here if Lowe’s doesn’t have what I need. They’re reliable and the staff is helpful.

SOMEONE TOOK MY PURCHASED PRODUCT and Home Depot said I picked it up and I say on hold for an hour while I drove there. Why the heck would I want two microwaves? If you check ID (which it says to bring in the email) then my product would still be there! Horrible customer service.Wish I could give a 0

The people are friendly but contradict corporate directive, dont use their heads about solving problems, dont communicate with the customer, and ignore the obvious. Store layout is good and selection is good. They sometimes stock things that other stores are out of which is why I give them 2 stars.
