Branch Ave Tire & Auto will treat you like family. Anytime I call or bring either of my cars by to be fixed Mr. Bob explains EVERYTHING to me. He has given me estimates that always end up being lower costs in the end. Mr. Bob allows you to explain whats going on with your car without rushing. My mother absolutely loves his son who is also a mechanic and he actually empowered my mom with the knowledge to make her latest purchase. Our family has been going to him for at least a year and we are pleased.

Been going here for years because I used to live in the apartments nearby, now I live in Baltimore and was skeptical about taking my car to someone I didn’t know. Came all the way here and received the same service I did years ago. They are fantastic!! Explains very detail on the problem and gives the best solutions. I never feel that I’m being cheated or taken advantage of.

These guys are the best. I was stranded in McClean, Va, my alternator went out called Kevin and he called a auto shop in the area but they were closed. He explained my insurance would probably pay for the tow to his shop, which I did not know they stayed open so i could drop the car off and he ordered the part so it would be at the shop the next day. Thanks to Bob the car was ready the next day by noon. Forgot to say this was a Friday and the car was ready Saturday.I highly recommend these guys. THANKS KEVIN AND BOB.

I brought a used car that had a bad battery, long story short the battery gave out. Roadside assistance came out did a reverse jump and blew my ground wires. The car was taken to Branch Auto were they was more than happy to say its an old car maybe a field rat chewed the wires off. They charged me for the repair, and was never honest or smart enough say that roadside crossed the cables that caused all of the work needed now. My windshield wipers, heat, and radio did not work when I got the car back. Once again they said its an older car things happen, I said all of these things happen to work prior to either repairs at your shop or the jumper cables being crossed. I took the car back several time with no resolution, they wanted me to pay for things that worked prior to them touching it.

I asked a few friends for recommendations of a mechanic/shop that knows what theyre doing and wont RIP YOU OFF! I believe I have found that rarity at Branch Ave Tire! I had a problem with my antifreeze leaking AND a check engine light problem (that I knew of). Mr. Bob broke it down to me, explained to me what it could be and found the source of both problems. Mercy!!He will try to break the news to you as gentle as he can, but hes certainly going to be honest with you. My bill was definitely a fair price and Im very appreciative of their friendly services.All my referrals will go to them from now on.

Bob, Kevin, and their crew are absolutely fantastic. They take the time to fully explain each repair and wont break whats not broken so they can charge you to fix it. Ive referred friends to the shop and theyve received exemplary service.

These are the best service people in the world. They will never overcharge you and most importantly they will always try to determine the cause of a problem you are having with your car by starting with the least expensive possibility going up the ladder to the most expensive. I cannot tell you how much money they have saved me over the years and continue to do so. You will not go wrong with this group even as an uninformed woman.

Customer service was terrible. I asked Bob to take a look at a leak I had in my vehicle. He failed to disclose a fee just for taking a look and then Kevin got an attitude and raised his voice when I asked about it. I had no problem paying but not telling me that their is a $50 charge just to take a look up front seems like an unfair business practice.

Went to a Ford dealership because the wipers on my Town Car werent working. I felt the dealer would be able to help fix it. I tell them Ive replaced the motor but there is no power going to it so there must be a wiring issue, this after Ive had it checked after getting an oil change from another place. After their diagnostic ($125) they tell me I need a new motor ($600) and to check the wire it will cost an additional $400. After some back and forth, I get my car and look up this place. I leave my car with them Thursday, they tell me they need to check under the dash (No problem), they find out a circuit has fried, they want to order the part and theyll install it Friday, they call me Friday and explain that they had trouble with Ford shipping and theyll have it Saturday (No problem), they call me Saturday afternoon tell me my car is ready, I go there and they were kind enough to actually wait until I got there to show me the piece that fried (I appreciate that) and show me how messed up it was. They actually knew what they were doing, listened to what I said when I brought it in, and saved me over $700. I highly recommend them and they were really nice from start to finish.
