Went to a beautiful service here in Dixon Chapel for a funeral of our friend Lou Webb. Heard encouraging, humorous and thoughtful words from pastor Mark to comfort the family and the service was followed with a nice reception after. My first time to the church and I was drawn to God through it. Thanks!

I reached out to your prayer line today after finding a video on your YouTube channel. I want to thank Tyler and Sue for listening with great care, praying over me with love, and helping to connect me with resources.

I have attended this church for over a year now and really enjoy the Pastors teaching and the worship is amazing. I have never been to a church where the worship is always top notch and holy spirit led. Their greeters are so friendly and you can really create a community here with people who care about your growth. This church is all about community and bible believering faith. I like how welcoming they are when you walk in the front doors- everyone is friendly from what I have seen and I love their coffee shop as a bonus. It was hard finding a church home but thankful this church is my home church now. I love the worship and the revival nights. Two of my best friends are from this church and I prayed for awesome Godly friends and God provided it all. THANK YOU.

Your ability to contact all our vendors, organize all the operations of our ceremony, and keep us moving on the rehersal and day off, meant the world to us. Winter Peak was just amazing there, it was fun for me and my friends. It was fun worshipping and I definitely felt something there. Amazing place to be if you want to get in touch with God and have fun at the same time. While I was there, food was a bit of a concern. It the mornings, barely anything was served but I gobbled it all up. Good quality food but I would suggest 3 or more food choices. Great place to be in general. I loved it there but the madness of everything except the sessions make it a 4-star for me. If I could give a 4.5 I would.

Be wary and warned. I grew up here, this church was the foundation of the beginning of my faith. I came to Christmas eve service with family and friends that we all grew up going here together beginning 20 years ago. We were children and have all walked on to different places in life. We all still believe and love each other as the gospel calls us too. I have never left a service so angry and distraught in my life. The teachings were not about God and that he sent his son. It was all about Evangelical theology and recruitment of believers. I felt so bombarded with scriptures and entertainment, it was overwhelming. A video showed brought up so much pain and grief for my family it was NOT OKAY. We had to tell my brother and his sweet wife not to go. Yes God does miracles, but He is Onipotent and it is not about us. That video was NOT OKAY, do you know how many people come to these services?? I just pray to God no one else felt such deep stirred pain from such horrible loss as we felt. Please be warned and if you have ever experienced anything miscarriage wise, still birth or infant loss do not go to this Christmas eve 2019 service. Be warned, and be in the scriptures asking God for guidance always. I can honestly say I will never attend another service here after seeing how things have changed and moved away from teaching about the scriptures and what they mean to a show and get saved so God can do miracles. That is not the message of the gospel and false teaching.

My husband Lee and I have been Christians for a very long time but have not had a submersion-type Baptism and taken those next steps in our lives. We have been married 5 years and together for 10. Our children are grown and weve been enjoying that next stage of life with our grand children. It was time time for us to truly commit ourselves to Christ.Weve been at Cherry Hills Community Church for a very long time. We bought our niches there at their Memory Gardens and know that Cherry Hills is our home. We loved Jim Dixon who started the church and truly enjoy Shane Farmer who is the Senior Pastor and Craig Springer who teach us great lessons each week.Thank you, Cherry Hills Community for being our forever home.

The friends I have made here are like family to me and this is home. I would not be where I am in my Christian walk without this church. Through the ups and the downs of life, this church represents the rock of Christ that I must lean on every day. Thank you CHCC. May the Lord, Jesus Christ always shine bright from your doors. Come as you are is the slogan on this church, and this church actually lives up to it. The congregation is a great mix of all generations (although located in Highlands Ranch, young families are the majority), and each week they grapple with practical teachings on how to do life with Jesus at the center of it all. But the best part is even though it is a LARGE church, it is amazing how they connect people and form communities. We highly recommend this church to anyone - whether you have been a Christ follower for years, or you are just exploring this whole faith-thing. Theyve got service times Saturday @ 5p, or Sunday @ 9 or 11.

Cherry Hills Community Church has been an important part of my life for over 30 years. We moved to Denver from Evergreen so that our children could go to school here and we could attend church here. Over the years, life changed and I personally have been helped by the counseling ministry. There are so many avenues here for an individual to serve God, to become acquainted with God, to become more intimate with God, and to help others know Him. Currently I participate in the choir, which is a very fulfilling ministry that helps me to connect with God, other christians, and express my love for Him. I love this church and am so grateful to God for its ministry.

This church takes in SO MUCH MONEY but does nothing except a food pantry, with DONATED food to its community. There are no types of financial help to those in need for rental assistance or utility bills. Their daycare has at least one room that is nit licensed and on top of that they have many violations, mostly the same ones each year in their daycare. This church does NOT accept CCAP. Does this church understand what its position in its community is supposed to be? This is a farce and a disgrace to have a power and money hungry CHURCH.

I have lived all over the world, the worship and teaching of Gods word is phenomenal and the best I’ve ever experienced! And I have been to some really amazing churches!!! The presence of the Lord is so tangible, it’s AMAZING! I kept going back to see if it would continue 😂😂😂I am going to live stream it for my family & neighbors in Hawaii! It’s our Church and we don’t even live in Highlands Ranch Co!But we are locally involved in Oahu.THE MUSIC IS A TAD TOO LOUD, I’M 39 AND I LIVE LOUD MUSIC AND IT’S WAY TOO LOUD! SO CAN’T BE GOOD FOR PEOPLE.You have to understand that this church has some kind of spiritual war going on a mixture of people wanting to lift their hands to the LordLike... 1 Timothy 2:8In every church service I want the men to pray, men who are dedicated to God and can lift up their hands in prayer without anger or argument. And others who just want things to stay the same and not extravagantly worship the LordThere is a group of people even an anesthesiologist I work with who have left the church calling it heretical and say they don’t teach the word accurately and still believe in healing for todayYou can watch the sermons online they’re biblical, people that don’t want truth will say anythingI have a video on YouTube about raising the dead in the OR we are seeing God do miracles and we give the testimoniesThis Church is learning to hang out with each other, loosen upAnd love! Some of their speakers can be the “ I am the speaker God has called “ type but 99% is like the Holy Spirit himself is up their teaching youAnd they don’t post online guest speakers for “sermon rights” tests dumb I’ve never been to a mega church that didn’t post the service- you preach there- then you give them the right to post the teachingColorado is so spiritually dry, so go to churchYou will never find the perfect job or the perfect church so just go to work and go to churchBLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED

Cherry Hills Community Church quickly became my home away from home when I moved here from Chicago 13 years ago. I met my wife and we joined the church and were married here. I cannot walk through the doors and run into a dozen people within seconds that I am connected with. Through the birth of three kids, family ups, family downs...we have been surrounded with prayers, meals, friends, encouragement, and love from the people of this place. Encouragement...if you attend, get involved...you will quickly meet a community of people that will become a family that you never knew you had. In addition to all of that...the music, worship, and relevance of the message delivered each week is beyond what five stars on a review can speak to. Look me up on Facebook and PM me if you are a first timer...Ill save a seat for you and introduce you to some wonderful people.

After moving to Colorado I have gone to this church several times, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like for church me. Although the sermons can have some moving moments and the pastor seems great, there seems to be a lot of self-worship in their weekend services. This is very prevalent in their music as well as the pre-sermon news, where they seem to be bragging about how they themselves did all of these great things instead of through God. An example of this could be seen in their self-produced Easter film that had good intentions but didn’t really portray the story of Jesus. The pastor’s sermon after the film was outstanding though. In addition to this, there seems to be a disconnect while seated in the congregation. Rather than being an interactive Christian family, it seems to be more of collection of entitled individuals with little expression of wanting to engage in social interaction. As a young professional, I can see how this congregation and the other previously noted issues could drive a lot of people my age from attending church or even from Christianity by churches such as these. I find this to be very unfortunate, because this church has some great key aspects but the negatives outweigh them.

Cherry Hill has been our familys church home since 1997. We grew spiritually with Pastor Dixons messages and his vision to be focused on growing his congregation in Gods word. Over the last 2+ years, its been distressing to see what has happened to Jims previous staff and the entire church family. Far too many staff members were replaced or moved on due to the new direction of the church. New Pastors typically bring in new people, which is fine, however, Shane Farmer, the new senior pastor came from Willow Creek in Chicago and its interesting to see the number of Willow Creek transplants that he is bringing in. Cherry Hills has turned into the Colorado version of Willow Creek. Shane is a gifted presenter, however, his new vision seems far too focused on church growth and statitstics surrounding how to grow a church the right way. I dont think God needs charts, graphs and focus groups to build His church. The music has always been excellent and still is, however, the worship service has a very scripted feel. Its the same format each and every Sunday. Example...the congregation is asked to sit down durning the offeratory, however, the song that is played while the offering is being taken is one that attempts to stir emotion about 1/2 way through to get the congration to stand up again. This happens 90% of the time. Scripted worship just feels wrong. We have multiple children and have not been impressed with the new MidPoint and HighPoint. These two programs again seem very seeker friendly and appear to bring the world into church to make it more palatable to the kids. There should be no reason, IMO, that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift music should be filling the air at church functions and retreats. These are two role models that parents should want their girls to stay away from due to their lyrics alone. Its a strange conversation to have with your daughter when you say she cant have Katy Perry music on her IPod because of [insert the 100 reasons here!] and she responds with well why do they have her music on at church?Overall we do not feel at home at Cherry Hills any longer and are currently seeking a new church home.
