I recently came into Highland Park MyEyeDr to get my husband’s glasses. The staff was extremely professional and very helpful. I’m husband is extremely picky but Vicky and Julie were very patient with me and helped me out pick out the perfect pair. His glasses came back in a timely manner and he’s very happy with them. Thank you ladies for all of your help!

Friendly staff and very efficient eye exam. First time visit at this location - parking is convenient. My only qualm was the hassle of trying to get the rebate for the contact lenses that I purchased. I was told that the rebate form was not available when I purchased the lenses and that the form would be emailed to me in a day or two. It wasnt sent to me and I followed up with them multiple times over a three week period (they never proactively called me, even though they said they would) and got the run around evey time I called. I finally called the corporate office and they provided me with a claim number to use and file a claim online.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I just got my eyes checked and Im feeling as if I got new friends. The place definitely stands out among other MyEyeDr places Ive been to.

Pros: nice friendly staff, great selection, good hours for working professionalsCons: warranty is not included in the price of the glasses, and their delivery time was a week longer than quoted in the store.My flexible spending account didnt cover the warranty charge and I had to pay out of pocket for it. They also didnt communicate the extra charge clearly when I ordered the glasses. Im going to shop around for a place that includes the warranty before I consider returning.

For my eye exam I was seen by Dr Close. She was very courteous & knowledgeable. At the intake Danielle helped me to fill out the necessary forms for my account. Danielle and the optician team (Julia S) were all super polite and helpful. The Staff here at the Highland aPark branch are great! Thanks for the pleasant experience!

I had an appointment to get an eye exam and had to wait the usual 5-10 minutes. Everyone was very nice but they seemed very understaffed. My glasses were supposed to come in 2 weeks but they did not. I was told Friday but I never got a call. I then called after the thanksgiving holiday and they said “oh they just came in this morning”. I then went to pick them up and had to wait 20 min for anyone to even say hi to me. Then they told me that it would be 15-20 minutes before they would be able to help me! This place is extremely understaffed!

Had an all-around great experience there. The manager was extremely helpful in picking out frames that really made sense for me and my preference for something a little more contemporary. They were very clear about all the lens options and and worked with me to get to a reasonable price as my choice of frames was pretty expensive.When my initial lenses seemed to have the progressive aspects a bit off, they were great at suggesting they redo them at no cost. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. And there is a really nice atmosphere at the store.

Miss the old SPEX. Wait times now are interminable (they seem hopelessly understaffed) and they have no system for making sure customers are waited on in the order they arrive. If an assertive or oblivious new customer walks in and demands assistance, the meek workers I’ve seen don’t have the confidence to ask them to wait. We’ve been coming here for years but will start to take our business elsewhere.
