Some clerks seem to look at you like you are planning a robbery if you are dressed down a bit. I felt a little judged. But after they realized I was buying something and had money to spend it was thumbs up from there forward. They are usually good priced on items and have a great variety.

I was pleasantly surprised how clean and organized this store was. I bought a set of indoor/outdoor fairy lights with a remote and about five different settings. The cashier helped me find them. These are details that impress me at a mans store where I am not used to shopping.

This is probably the best customer experience I have had in High Point.As soon as I walked in the door I was helped by employees to find what I needed and also helped to check out and load up my vehicle.I bought close to $300 worth of equipment and was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Always a handy place to visit offering a good range of tools and supplies. In some instances you get what you pay for but they still deliver good value for money and for consumable such as drill bits sandpaper Etc I see no point in going anywhere else and paying more money. In general I stay away from their electrical tools having have problems in the past however from those in the industry that I know the quality of the power tools is improving.

As a former HB team member and construction contractor, i felt very disrespected by staff. Standing around giggling up a storm. I drove over an hour for a 200$ item just to be told i cant use the store dollie to take it outside, also told to carry it or wait for the ever so important laney to take a break then she will wheel it out. Highly disrespectful. Unprofessional. Not up to harbor freight standards. More like gossip squad. I wont return to this location.

If you are not a hardcore handyman constantly using/abusing your gear, Harbor Freight tools will do just fine. Good prices. Store well stocked as and well organized. Friendly service on the sales floor, cashier got the job done but was not friendly. I try to go here over home depot and lowes.

This was my first visit to a Harbor Freight Tools store. I had learned recently that I could find a special tool for removing the backs from watches so that a battery can be replaced. The staff there were excellent and I not only found the watch back removal wrench but also purchased two other items. The store is clean, neat, and items are easy to find.

Always a great experience at this Harbor Freight. Employees are always friendly and if there is a problem with a product they dont hassle you about returns. I have bought many things from here and I will continue to do so. Admittedly some of their stuff is junk, but somethings are surprisingly sturdy and useful and you cannot beat the prices.

No one was available to ask questions when I walked in so I looked around myself. Of course what I was looking at was on the far side of the store. As soon as I found my item, an employee asked me if I found everything ok. Quick checkout.

Would rate higher if they had inventory on the items i buy like solar, electrical test equipment, security cameras. Other wise a good store with very polite and friendly staff.

The item I was looking for was out of stock, but the very helpful female employee suggested I call Wednesday to see if some of them come in on the truck. I appreciated the excellent service.

Great selection here. They have pretty much everything and the aisles are labelled to where you can find anything pretty easily. Can never beat the prices here, obviously not the best quality in the world but will get the job done for the most part

I was visiting family for a birthday party after a storm had passed through. A few trees fell on family property resulting in many calls for price quotes of over $12,000 for tree removal. We bought two $47 chain saws from Harbor Freight and plenty of oil. We finished the 12k job for a little over $100. The chian saws were durable, electric, 14 and ready for more action.

Harbor freight is a great place to find the right tools for the job. People talk about the stuff being cheaply made but you just have to try it for yourself. Ive never had any problems with anything Ive bought there. Some people just like to show name brand on there tools. I like to get the jobs done with out going broke

Well I was in harbor freight this morning to get a rotary tool kit for carving which was for $9.99. When I went there I asked the associate she was African American and was not too friendly with me. I asked about the Drillmaster rotary tool kit 80 PC . She said we dont have it in the stock. Why does harbor freight advertises a product and doesnt have it in the store.Than I asked if they have 1/2 electrical drill . She said no we only have battery operated drills. I didnt believe her how can they not have 1/2 socket electric drill. I had to look around for it and after 15 Minutes I was able to find it. All I am saying a company this big should hire or train people to an extent that they can identify a product which is so simple. I am attaching 2 pictures one of the rotary tool and the receipt of the drill that I brought.The manger of the store I thought he knew every single product but he also was unable to tell me if they had an adapter for 3/8 to 1/2 socket. And me by looking around I was able to find it.

Harbor Freight is Harbor Freight. Just a honest mans mirage of affordable stuff to filled your garage with. I swear to God, I can even check out without grabbing 5 more things off the gondolas while waiting in line. What sets them apart is the staff, and this one has the best. I bought an electric chipper shredder, that some cheat of a customer must have decided to use, then return, and lie about having used it. It was immaculate inside and out, and all the pieces in the box were exactly where they were supposed to be. But once I took it apart, I could see debris in the motor and on the blades. It still worked though, so I wanted to keep it, and didnt feel like hauling it back to the store. I called the store, and the manager Wendy treated it like the open box item it was, and gave me an additional 10% off to make it right. She wasnt there when I went for the discount, but the friendly folks that were honored it in a timely fashion. Great people = great experience. Its just that simple.

Bigger and better spaced location than most. If you get higher end, theyre just fine for 99% of non-pros. Hand tools, etc are always great plus they have unique, harder to find items, cheap (tube/ round item cleaning brushes, $4 for 12 big furniture glides, replacement wagon/cart wheels for less than inner tubes, etc)

The High Point store is the greatest. Everytime we go there they welcome you and go out of their way to help. If they dont have what youre looking for, theyll find it for you and or order it. The manager has always gone far and beyond to help my husband or myself. Really couldnt ask for a better group of people.

Great place for decent items at good prices. The store is clean and somewhat easy to locate things.The staff could be a bit more present and helpful. We had a hard time finding a specific item and the very nice lady at the checkout counter was awesome but could not get someone to answer her call for help to assist us. Overall, it was a good experience though.

This place..... is horrid. Everything you buy, breaks. Cheap Chinese plastic on “American made” tools. Prices are fair, but don’t expect much. Great store for a “one time use” type tool. I would honestly suggest Home Depot or Lowe’s for quality. Stay away from the high point location. There staff is rude, non caring, and ghetto as can be. They threaten to “take it outback” if necessary. Lol... glad I don’t go to this store anymore....

I really like Harbor Freight in High Point. Its a great place to get tools that you dont have to use full-time.Always remember that you get what you pay for as my Pop always taught me. Just make sure that you look over what you get. They have great stuff at good prices but some things are not going to stand up like name brand tools with lifetime warranties.
