Was able to get needed information from the internet and the internet sales team. This was not a local purchase for me; so I wanted to be sure I would be driving a new vehicle home. I was able to make a choice through communications of text messages. When I arrived it was a smooth transition. Meet with sales man who knew exactly what was going on. He was able to answer all my questions and made me feel like he was going to get me the best deal he could.
My service advisor was very friendly and nice, however, the problem was not fixed after TWO dealership visits and $75. I was told to give it a few days to get better after the second visit and I did... but it NEVER got better. In frustration, my husband took it to Auto Zone where he and a tech from Auto Zone fixed the issue in 15 minutes, with only $9.99! I am upset at the fact that I wasted $75 and two dealer visits, but unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about it now.
My service adviser went out of her way to take care of me. I also had a chance to speak with the tech working on my truck and was impressed on how thorough he was on his inspection of my truck. Your dealership was clean, professional and courteous. It is actually the best GMC dealer I have ever been in. Thanks!
Ive had an interesting experience purchasing a vehicle from here. It started out great and then went downhill from there. I was misled by the sales consultant regarding some of the features of the truck. To be fair, it is a used vehicle that was 6 years old, but when I went back to ask how to use the feature I was told it had, he said that it sometimes disappears and would reappear in a few days. I went home and found out that feature wasnt included until the next years model. I then took it home to my dad to have him check it out while it was still under the 30-day, 1000 mile warranty. When we went to test the 4x4, it was completely shot. It is inexcusable that it made it to the lot in that condition; had I not caught it under that short warranty, I would have had to pay for this very expensive repair out of pocket. My dad also noticed that the air filter was dirty, so that clearly wasnt addressed. Judging by its acceleration performance, the intake likely needs to be cleaned as well. Again, I’m not sure why this wasnt all taken care of before it hit the lot. I didnt anticipate, nor should I have had to, having to do all these repairs and maintenance right after purchasing it. I took it back and the service department was great. They took me right away even though I had no appointment and they came back saying they would replace the front end differential and would call me when the part came in (this will fix the 4x4). I havent mentioned the maintenance concerns but plan to when I take it back for the repair. I was also told a rip in the drivers seat would be reupholstered. After asking twice, they have yet to get that repair scheduled. Management never responded or apologized to an email sent about my concerns with the 4x4. The customer service after the sale is 2 stars at best, and I would recommend anyone buying a used vehicle from them to really look it over and test all features before purchasing. Unfortunately I just trusted them, assuming everything worked and all necessary maintenance would have already been performed.
We recently traded our 2020 GMC Acadia for a 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer. I did not think they could top what I already had in place but they lowered my payment and paid off my vehicle fully. I was surprised, elated and appreciative of the time, energy and care that was taken with me. I usually stick to one dealership for all my needs, wants and desires and since they won my business from another dealership I appreciate their care. Vann York Auto is A-1 in my mind. The sales associate Rod stated he would try his best and I was leary but he worked his magic and I am pleased.
It was a pleasure dealing with Tyrone Rease when ordering and buying my 2022 Corvette. Im a gray beard and have dealt with dozens of car dealers in my lifetime. Generally speaking, car dealers have deservedly acquired a bad reputation. However, Vann York breaks that mold and Tyrone is one of the reasons. He was straight forward and honest and I know where I stood at all times. I trusted him. If and when I decide to replace my 2019 Buick Lacrosse (which I really like!) Ill be coming to see Tyrone! Unfortunately no more Buick Lacrosses, so probable a Cadillac next time.

Brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance and the technician ended up hitting a parked car with my vehicle. The dealership took responsibility and said they would repair my vehicle. Unfortunately the shop tried three times to get it right and it still doesnt look like it did before the accident. Now the dealership is ghosting me and wont return messages. Apparently they feel it looks good enough. I will never be going back!Update 14 Oct 2021Since my review the dealership reached out to me and asked for another attempt to fix my vehicle. I agreed and this time the vehicle was fixed right and looks as good as new. Id like to thank the dealership for following through and making this right.
This was one of the best dealership buying experiences Ive had. Because I dont live locally in Highpoint, NC, the entire sale was completed online and via text message except for the actual pick-up of my new Chevy Colorado. The customer service was excellent. Isaac was very helpful and courteous and went out of his way to help me. I have to give Larry in finance props too, as he was quick and to the point. Previous visits on oil changes my fluids were filled...a sticker with my date and mileage of oil change was put on window as well along with the resetting the oil life left on dash!! NONE OF THIS WAS DONE on this visit...very upset this is why I have NOT BEEN there lately..

A little concerned that 2 months prior, you replaced my air conditioner compressor plus refrigerant. Then 2 months later, the air conditioner condenser goes bad plus refrigerant again. Was the condenser bad before, or was it damaged during the compressor replacement or did it just go bad, just questions that popped up??

I tried to speed up the process by Chatting online. Told the person what I was Paying Monthly and was told I would stay in that range. After several attempts I was Nowhere near my payment comfort zone. I felt I put down a pretty large down payment and My payment is still ridiculously high. I feel I bought this vehicle under stress. Don’t get me wrong, I love the car but do not like the Payment.

After calling a week in advance, to make an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, I get there 30 minutes prior to my appointment time to be told that there are a few cars in front of me and they will get to it asap. So I left with my husband, no big deal. We had errands to run. Over 2 hrs later I call to check if it was almost finished. They havent even started it yet. So we go all the way home a good 40 minute drive from the highpoint dealership for them to turn around and call me as soon as we pulled into our driveway . When the guy on the phone told me it would be at least an hr. Not to mention when I bought the car from you guys there were 2 scratches in the driver side door, I was PROMISED THEY WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF. And yet to this day have heard back from anyone over a year later. I have reached out multiple times. So No I wont return even for simple oil changes. Nor refer anyone to this dealership

Buyer Beware! Deceptive bait and switch marketing! I have purchased many new vehicles and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I filled out an online request and someone called me around 9am the next morning. She confirmed the vehicle I was interested in was available and text me the address so I could see how far the drive would be. It was going to be about 3 hours but worth the drive to me. Told her I would check with my wife to see when we could leave to go together. Text her time and she said great. Text again 30 minutes before I arrived, again she said great. Walked into the dealership and was told they sold the vehicle the DAY before. The salesperson had several opportunities to tell me the vehicle was already sold but did not. Of course, I was quickly offered help on a different vehicle. Classic bait and switch marketing and I hope others stay away from all the Vann York dealerships.

Today 9-9-21 I went to the service Department because the battery in my 2019 Buick Encore went dead last night, so I went and bought a battery so I can get home last night, today I went to the the service area and the service manager and mechanic was extremely rude, don’t want to help because was 20 min before there closing, and didn’t offer to help unless I have an appointment, and the appointment will be until Monday 🤬 this really upsets me and you will lose a good customer for there rudeness, I’ll never go back to service my car or buy a new car there again !!!!

I was pleased with my service but your service people need to be updated on the ignition interlock systems. I tried to explain it to the service guy but I guess I do a good job. I had a violation that cost me 45 dollars. Again service was good minus my 45 dollars. If you are contacting by monitech just confirm I was during the time of the violation
Service technicians as well as those who check me in each time are very friendly and personable. I typically do not get to chat with the ones doing my oil changes, however, my car is left clean. I would recommend everyone to have their service completed here.

I did a lot of shopping over the phone and email. They worked with me with any questions or pictures I needed. When I actually went there it was a great atmosphere. No pushy sales person. No aggressive sales manager. They all worked with me to get me in the car I wanted and not just shove me in a car and go.
I had visited several (12) other dealerships and explained to each of them I did not want to go back fourth on pricing I just wanted an upfront price. David French was the only sales person who shot me straight. I appreciate honesty and directness and I think I have found my dealership going forward.

Would highly recommend avoiding this dealership. Unprofessional and unprofessional staff, will overcharge for service things that don’t need to be done but “claim” it needed. Good luck getting any sort of refund from this dealership, they will claim to send a check out and never do and then they will avoid you any time you reach back out to them. Best taking your business elsewhere.

Im surprised that the mileage was required to order an air bag given this was a recall notice. The year and VIN number was already on file and listed on the recall. This now requires a 2nd trip to dealership. I was charged $69.95 for 30 point inspection that I did NOT request plus $5.60 for shop supplies. I feel ripped I was taken advantage of.
