This place had great food long time ago. I went inside and ordered $41.00 worth of food. Ill say I wont ever be back EVER. I dont want to waste my money.

I decided to give Roadside Diner a try for supper earlier this evening. Ive been hearing how good their food is. Man, did I hit the jackpot! I pulled up to the window to order and a super nice lady greeted me and gave me a menu. I then ordered 2 hamburgers all the way and paid my 11.00 with a smile. Remember that its cash only at the Roadside Diner. So I pulled over to a parking spot and waited for my food. All food is cooked to order. It didnt take long at all and I got the signal to drive back around and pick up my order. The very friendly lady told me to come back again and wished me a good night, and I wished her a good night also. I pulled over to a nearby parking lot and started eating. Each burger was wonderful and each bite was perfection! The burgers were large, Im thinking 1/3 lb each. Great toppings on each and the buns were sesame seed. On a scale of 10, these 2 burgers each rated an 11. I got my moneys worth and then some. Their hamburger is a strong candidate for best burger in Catawba County. I will definitely be back to the Roadside Diner!!

Best burger value in town! Big 1/3 patties cooked perfectly, plated the way you want, with a huge serving of perfectly crispy, salty fries for $7.25. Dont sleep on the barbecue, either - its top notch. Bring cash, though - they dont do plastic.

The food was great. The value is neither good nor bad. At $8.50 for a cheesburger, fries, and drink, I was a bit surprised. The burger turned out to be rather large. Unfortunately, they only accept cash which is a big inconvenience. Very small building with only a few seats. No restroom that I could find. The lady who took our order and brought out our food wasnt too friendly, but we all have bad days. I hope that her attitude wasnt normal. I advise them to start accepting credit/debit cards and cheer up.

Just ordered a BBQ sandwich and fries. The sandwich was made with 2 pieces of loaf of bread because they were out of buns. They charged the same price! I dumped the BBQ and Tinley bit of slaw off of the white bread and tried to put it on a regular bun I had at home. Was completely unsatisfied and did not eat it. Paid the same price. Wont go back!
