This Walmart was clean and stocked. Hickory, mgr Danna, kudos to you and your team. The product we needed was not available. Brandy and another team member directed us to Conover Walmart. We found the store easily and the product we needed. Thank you for a great experience.

Got this lighted led curtain for the doorway. Very pleased. Also got the cutest bathing suit for my nieces birthday and a cute pair of pants for $2! And found a watch & matching bracelet on clearance and a few other items that were needed at home. Super pleased with the gift for my niece, the lighted curtain and watch set.

This supercenter has everything with helpful and courteous staff. The only problem is there is never any close parking. It is always full, even the handicapped parking.

Only go because convenience. Outside of that hate a place where you have 25 registers but company to cheap to pay for employees but make you ring up your own stuff. If I have to do that, shouldnt I get an extra discount, say 25- 30% would be nice. What is Wal Mart savings by not having staffed registers. Then what makes it worst is the trust factor afterwards, they can pay someone to check receipts but cant pay for actual customer service.

Went to store to have two keys made. No one was at the counter in sporting goods so I asked for someone to be paged to come and help. Long story short there were five pages sent out for help. I also called the store from inside the store. I finally went to the front after standing there for 45 minutes to ask for a manager. A woman who identified her self as recovery told me not to holler at the employees. I told her to get a manager back to sporting goods that there are 10 people back there waiting for help. I understand places are under staffed but when there are three employees just standing there at the self check out and two guys standing at the door talking. It looks like one of the five could have came and helped. I spoke with one of the guys at the door and he acted like none of the 10 people whom had been standing in the back waiting on help for 45 minutes had the right to be upset. Hickory Wal-Mart needs better management and definitely better customer service.

This Walmart is too small for hickory NC. Makes it very disorganized. It has good stuff. Traffic in and out of parking lot is jammed packed.

How can someone spend three hundred dollars be stared at the whole time at self checkout. Then held up to have a receipt checked. I understand Im younger and may not look like I have daddy and mommy money but yall old people goofy as heck. Mean while the crack heads in the clothes isle looking sketchy. Instead your worried about the 22 year old yall watching spend hard earned money on toys for there kids. Instead of that dope head thats the same age as yall walk out with a stick of beef jerky that 3 for $1.00.

Its a great Walmart to visit and usually have everything in stock

Im from Arkansas here visiting my mother. This is by far the most neglected store Ive ever seen. The clothing dept was a shambles. The shelves were not properly stocked. Not a good atmosphere at all.

Bad experience with grocery pickup my order was delayed and I hung around for two hours and still delayed, so I went home and canceled my order needless to say I have not received my money back in my bank account yet. I have not been ordering groceries there I took my business somewhere else

I can almost always find what I need here. Usually they have everything in stock and I dont need to go to any other stores. I give it 5 stars for my cashier Mary. Shes the best, I always try to find her.

Got what I needed and got out. Only store in area that had the paint I needed. Though it would be nice if they actually put a large sign stating that the garden center doors are closed. Thats a walk I shouldnt have to do.

The older Caucasian ppl that are their to check your receipts at the door are highly prejudice . I’m caucasian my self & the two times I’ve went there with African American ppl . The caucasian door checkers go crazy to check my receipt and let other Caucasian ppl pass by us with no problem & while there going crazy to check our bags…..little do they know the two caucasians that they let pass us by are well known shop lifters (great job) .Walmart please talk to these older Caucasian door checkers and tell them it’s 2021 & never to judge a book by it’s cover!! Im a business owner of 11 yrs & me & my family are not trash by far. I’m also contacting corporate not to get no one fired but so they can play back those cameras & have a serious conversation with these 3 .This happened 10/5/21 around 7:00-7:30 Ed & some lady even walked out side behind me as I was leaving & I had my business t- shirt on (purple)& 10-9-21 4:01 ron was extremely disrespectful & I did they same.

I waited for almost 30 minutes at Hardware trying to get a power tool. Had 2 associates page during that time and I paged on their system twice myself. I finally called in while standing in their store and the customer service rep offered to page! I told her that I was done paging and moving on with my day. I had to get on up front to scan my own stuff and pay to get the heck out of that place...

This is the worst Walmart to go to!!! The managers and employees always have attitudes! This is Also the worst place to pick your groceries up for an online!My past few experience with them have been the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life and I will never be back! Guys please take your time and your money somewhere else because this is not it!!!

Good luck finding things in THAT maze. What youre looking for is probably in one of those big boxes you see in the aisles that noones stocked yet. And if you self-check out be warned, those things should be cleaned more often. Yuck.

CARLA the manager is AMAZING! However we purchased an a.c unit the night before and when the register was out of receipt paper the cashier said we didnt need one if we wanted to return it they could just look it up. So we go back to return it because ours wasnt working probably. So after 30 minutes of Amy (blonde) trying to find the receipt she threatened to call the cops on us. When the Manger showed up she found the receipt in 2 seconds. I have never been more disrespected in my life. Its sad when employees would rather call the cops then do their jobs. I hope I never see her working there again.

Went to grab some outdoors utilities and food from the deli. Jason was very polite and quick about coming to assist on the hot and ready foods. This Walmart is my go to place when Im in need of anything.

This is your typical Walmart super center. They carry the same items as other Walmarts. The time we were there, the store was very busy and so was the parking lot. There was traffic everywhere and not a lot of parking available. The store itself was ok, but if there atr other options in the area, Id prefer to go somewhere that is less crowded and easier to get in and out of, especially the parking area. We were traveling, so Im not sure of this is normal for this store/area or not.

Staff is a little too much at times! They act as though everyone is dishonest these days! And sadly this location has an extremely hard time keeping daily items in stock!! Cashiers at checkout our rude & the door greeter was rude & snooty! However Ill say Im a fan of their clearance aisle!! And its not all bad they have some really awesome deals & friendly staff that I dont find at other WalMart locations!! Also this locations has the best staffed pharmacy than others! All staff are nice, informative, and will do their best to help you find what you need

Please reconsider locking up the razors. I stood in the aisle for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to come unlock the case just so I can get a $9 trimmer! I dont understand why some of the razors are locked up and some arent, there isnt even that much of a price difference between them. And then I was told I couldnt take it I had to pick it up at a register. This is a ridiculous waste of my time and the employees time. Also the employee didnt even have her mask on correctly. She had it on her chin like that does anything.

Not 1 register open. Self check out only... Was trying to purchase something and my card will not work on the self check out. The self check out employee said she she could open a register. I asked her if she could get someone that could and after waiting sometime a gentleman came to take over for her so she could go to a register.

I don’t know why have a phone but can’t even answer it like come on are you serious been on the phone with Customer service for 30 mins and the pick up line for an hour and nobody is answer! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER you shouldn’t have to wait on the phone for over an hour and 30 mins

Needed service in clothes department to try on clothes and asked 4 different employees for help from service desk and registers. Absolutely was no help. The only employees that were helpful was working in hair care???? On the other side of store.

Fairly clean throughout the store. Bathrooms are iffy-and sometimes they are suitable/other times you might want to run as fast as you can away from them. Employees are mediocre when it comes to knowledge of products and their locations, and most share an unwanted disposition to help customers. Goods are updated fairly regular, and seasonal goods are stocked prior to the start of the season. They usually have a decent assortment of seasonal decor and items.

As far as Walmarts go I have to say this one was actually impressive I still dont like the company very much but this store was doing a good job.

This Walmart lacks in training and management; they frequently tend to have floor workers on restock at high traffic times and customer service is out of the question. You can have two managers and three employees at self checkout (which you have to utilize since they never have open registers) and not a single one helping a customer despite the line wrapping out of the que and into the isles. It’s a chaotic place to shop but they’re pretty in line with any other non-training center Walmarts

This review would be 5 stars because I go here a lot and its quite convenient in terms of location. However there is always something that is not in stock and it has been this way for several years. I can usually get what I need and be fine but sometimes I need a specific item and it is always out of stock. The Walmart pickup is awesome! I can order what I need and pick it up in the same day without having to go into the tohave.

No cash registers open besides maybe 1 or 2, the rest is self check out and onlyb2 take cash. Smh and I felt like the associates found humor in us customers getting upset over the situation.

I love Walmart, and shop There often. Unfortunately, I will have to find a new store. I am told that they are doing away with cashiers, and going to go to all self-service cash registers. I refuse to deal with any company that replaces human beings with computers, to save a buck, and contributes to the unemployment problem. I worked at a Service Station, and saw what happened when they, gradually, phased out humans. You might want to reconsider.

Clean. Fairly low traffic. Well staffed. They do,however, often stock during the busiest times which is understandable, but they use pallets that block entire aisles and multiple employees surrounding. More than once left store rather than try to navigate around.

I love it cause it close to where I live. Their are also really nice people that works there.

This place is the worse when it comes to ordering cupcakes or cakes the bakery is lazy and they dont care about helping you...id recommend the Wal-Mart in Conover I never have any issues ordering...just pitiful

Very few cashiers working. Made it difficult and tedious to get out of the store. Ended up leaving and going to Walgreens for what we needed.

The place is always clean and Ive never had an issue with staff or with individuals throughout the store. Usually has about anything youre looking for and typically for really good prices.

Wanted to buy grill. No one working in the garden center. Front cashier said there was nothing she could do for us. Plenty of other places to buy a gill in this town.

Customers you are under the weather walking are with no mask no excuses when they are providing them lets protect each other to prevent 7 more years of covid. Please tag all prices properly to prevent confusion and have consumers in and out in a timely fashion. Great job guys keep up the great work. We can get through this together.
