Awesome place, quiet safe location, but most importantly the staff are genuinely awesome. They are very helpful and friendly. Id recommend this marina hands down!🙌

After all the years of doing business here and at Lakeside Marina. I was told to leave when putting my paddle board in at the docks. They obviously dont care about you unless you keep a boat there. I will never do business with either marina again.

Amber is AWESOME!!! We rented a pontoon boat and a ski boat from them, and the boats were in excellent condition, and ran perfectly. Being fairly new to the area, we were winging it for our daughters wedding party on the lake. We had shopped at the marina prior to this trip, and have been treated very well. Thanks Rivers edge People for being so great and fairly priced.

Unprofessional. Unkind. We moved our boat to lake Norman because of how problematic the family who owns this marina was. I wouldn’t trust them with my boat or keep my boat here.

The behavior of Amber Cammen (the daughter) is the most unprofessional behavior I have ever witnessed. Very disappointed and will never give this family any of my money again. I will never keep my personal boat here. You shouldn’t either.

Traveled down from NY and had the pleasure getting to know Rivers Edge Marina. I will return next trip down and I highly recommend their marina. Fabulous help from Jeremy to Roger to the guys getting me set up in my boat rental /returning; all of it just great. The docks guys were polite, curtious, efficient and friendly. A nice Southern Charm feel to their full service oasas on the water of Lake Hickory,NC.Thank you very much!

Excellent experience I’ve been boating for nearly 50 years from Maine to Florida This was the best experience I had with a boat issue ... was taken care of very quickly and at a great price can’t beat this marina

Today I went to R & N Marina as I have always in the past to fill my boat up with gas. In the past I have done business with them; tuning or fixing my boats, buying gas, getting snacks while on the lake.While I am sitting there filling up my son came up to me slowly on his Yamaha and ask if he needed gas, I stated no I had already filled it up. At that point he went out in the middle of the lake about 50 ft. All of a sudden I hear an air horn sound off twice from the employee on the forklift. He yelled, “Get away from the boats…Go away.” After the yelling and all the customers looking at him I turned my pump off and was going to pay for my gas and as I walk up the ramp he yells at me…”hey, you know that boy?” I stated, “YES”. He said, “Tell him never to come back here again…He is going to tear up my boats…What is he thinking.” I continued to walk in and pay for my gas and when I was leaving another employee starts talking about us and staring us down. WOW..I own my own business and have for twenty years. If my employee talked to a customer like that they would need to punch out and leave. Customers are very important and the professionalism that he portrayed was insane. Not only what was done to my family but in front of so many other customers. They noticed because one customer said someone needs to pull him off that forklift and stomp him. I would never do that but the owners need to teach how valuable a customer is and teach them to treat people with respect. There is a way to talk to someone. Conduct yourself with integrity not an uneducated attitude.Will never go back…other marinas I can do business with. I guess they don’t need the business and could care less.

Enjoyed our visit, but really enjoyed the helpfulness of one young man cory. He was very helpful and friendly, and attentive to his job and our needs. I need an employee like him!

I would NEVER do business with them. We are from Wilmington, NC. We travelled to Hickory and reserved a pontoon boat over the phone. All of my kids came down with a nasty stomach bug and we had to return to Wilmington early. The hotel cancelled with no issue and my husbands $1500 work class cancelled with no issue. I called Rivers Edge on Wednesday to cancel the boat that we were to pick up on Thursday. They said ok. Later when I was checking my bank statement I found the full amount for the boat charged to my account. I called and spoke with Amber. She said they could give us a credit for another boat. I explained that we lived in Wilmington. After numerous calls she finally agreed to refund the money. She told me she wouldn’t refund the credit card fees which I understood and told her I was fine with. So I asked her the amount of refund and she said the total minus $50 for fees and inconvenience. She was VERY rude the entire time. I decided to say ok since I knew she had my credit card information and didn’t want her to charge anything else. I called American Express and filed a dispute for the $50. Needless to say, American Express credited us our $50 back. We were never given any kind of rental agreement or terms. It was a lot of hassle to get our money back.

Enjoyed our time at Hickory Lake, launching from this marina. I was just a visitor, but our captain really likes the marina.

Nice place! Be careful in traffic once you come off the Lake Hickory bridge, its a quick and sharp Right!

This place is where i usually get my boating needs from, like gas and repairs. They were very professional and did exactly what they said they would do. I would recommended them to anybody I know.

I dont want to go into the mess ups that happened here, but I filled up a jet ski with 5 gallons. 2.90 for gas. They charged me 41 dollars. It was suppose to be 14.60. But the girl behind the counter probably didnt have an idea what she was doing. If you go here, keep an eye out. They seem to mess up a lot.

The staff is very friendly and always happy to see you. Such a pleasure to visit.

What other marina in the USA is closed on Saturday and Sunday but opened Monday thru Friday????
