Dr. Johnson is simply great. Then when you combine her with the staff and the ladies in the new glasses and fitting department you have an unbeatable combination. For an eye exam or new glasses or an adjustment Hewitt Eyes is unbeatable.

They waited until the evening before my scheduled appointment to inform me that they couldnt verify my insurance and that I needed to call to get is straight or they would have to cancel my appointment. Then they canceled my appointment the day of anyway because the doctor wouldnt be in. I do NOT recommend and will NOT be trying to go back.

While I was pleased with the doctor, I have been very frustrated with customer service. I took home a trial pair of contacts (supposed to be thrown away after 2 weeks). I tried calling to approve of the trial pair and order a year supply. Multiple times I couldnt get anyone on the phone. When I did finally get them to answer, I told them what I needed, the lady let me know that she was just going to pull my file and would be right back. I sat on hold for 30 minutes before a totally different person picked up and asked if I was waiting on hold for someone. She apologized and took down my name and number and stated someone would call me right back. 2 days went by with no phone call. I called again and let them know what happened, turns out the first time I called, they placed an order for my contacts without asking how many boxes I wanted. Here I am 2 weeks later, still have no idea how many boxes they ordered because my contacts are not in yet. My eyes are extremely irritated because my 2 week contacts have been used for 4 weeks and counting while waiting on my new ones. Very frustrated.

Dont expect punctuality. Really nice folks, but 3 visits in a row I had to wait over 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Dr is attentive and personable, perhaps being too thorough and running late, who knows. Just plan your day accordingly

Went there today for my first visit and it was an enjoyable time. Staff was polite and knowledgeable. My appointment with Dr. Christensen, OD, was thorough, informative and a pleasant experience. Purchasing my glasses was smooth and the process of picking out glasses was positive. Found a great pair and looking forward to picking them up next week.

Refused to give out my prescription information as I haven’t been there in 3 years. Apparently it’s customary for them to withhold information from their own customers. Money grab don’t go to them.

You need a good eye doctor and this is the place I recommend and bring my whole family to. They take my work’s vision plan and I’m super excited about that. Please consider Dr. Christiansen. His whole staff are amazing, too. They really go out of their way to help you and my wife and 3 sons. Thank you and I tell everyone that this is where you should go.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Christensen for many years, as he is one of the providers under my husband’s work insurance plan. Dr. C. is always kind, always upbeat and encouraging, and makes you feel comfortable, never rushed. It had been three years since my last visit and he mentioned it on a way that wasn’t judgmental or condescending. I know his concern is for my eye health.At my check up last month, I was pleased with the equipment equipment updates to a system that seemed to make it easier to choose which option was clearer. Always hated that part before, this time, it seemed easier. Also the frame choices seem to include more trendy designer styles, while still affordable (with the insurance), so I was happy with that. The last time, I had chosen frames I thought were just ok, due to limited styles in my price range.The ladies in the office and vision center were upbeat and welcoming, organized, helpful. The newer office location is larger, more comfortable, and while just a few blocks from the previous, the parking lot is easier to access and parking is not cramped.I recommend this business when you are making choice in eye doctors.

I have always got good service and glasses from Dr Christensen. He is worth the wait. Even for a simple eye exam. Him and his staff are great at what they do and they care about you.

Not sure why I cant get my prescription without having to pay an additional fee. Other than that, I had a good experience.

Terrible experience. My perception was wrong twice an after receiving them on the third time one of my lens fell out an was lost shortly after receiving them. I was told it would cost me another $150 to get the one lens. I think the screws was not tightened up after changing the lens twice.

When I got my glasses they were blurry they told me it was the way I tilted my head. I told them I couldnt wear them the way they were. I think the 2nd pair was probly my old prescription
