Really liked this place, but nice lot with tons of inventory and clean with some campers plugged in and all hooked up. Everything was unlocked with the price plainly listed. Nice service center area. Was slightly disappointed as i was looking for a smaller trailer and I felt like their best inventory was reserved for the bigger stuff but they still had a ton just not a lot of toy haulers which was my purpose. Would definitely buy from here and might soon. Great place I can’t say much for anything else as no salesman walked up to us or came out and didn’t go inside but 10/10 parking lot for trailer campers

I did not hesitate to put down deposit without seeing the RV as I was getting clear responses in writing. Crista and I had over 100 text messages where she patiently clarified all my questions before getting on the road for a 160- mile trip to pick up our first ever RV.When we arrived, the RV had been inspected & was ready - waiting for us. Crista spent over couple hours to have me go through the process. Eric, the gentleman at the finance office, is also a great guy who went over all numbers and they were the same as what I was provided over the phone.Once I signed the paperwork, James, the technician, had a walk through and taught RV 101 class:) in 45 minutes. This guy is 10 times better than you tubers sharing RV tricks.At the end of the day, my kids were super excited and I was happy to get this awesome RV from Fun Town in Waco. I drove 160 miles but could have driven 1600 for this fantastic straight forward purchase experience..

After identifying the camper I wanted, Fun Town Waco had the model at a price we liked. I called and basically bought it sight unseen. Camper is great, it’s the service here that is meh to say the least. They didn’t provide the additional key needed to open up one of the compartment doors. I called multiple times over the period of 4-6 weeks was told they would get it and send it. After calling the last time I was told the model number of the key and that they would send it to me the next day in the mail. “I’m putting it in an envelope now.” I went online and ordered it myself and already got it. I’m still waiting on the one they again told me they would mail me two weeks ago…pretty sure it’s not coming. Could have been a better experience.

Crista Russell was wonderful! She took her time to make sure we were taken care of, which was extremely important to us as first time camper owners. She made the process so easy for us, even with us living out of town. We picked out what we wanted, she took care of everything without us having to make multiple trips, and when we got there for pickup it didnt take long at all. We picked up our camper and met her all on the same day, and she was just as great on the phone as she was in person. I would recommend her to anyone. Well, my experience was okay. There were opportunities to make it excellent that just didnt happen.The Good: Ernest (our salesman) was friendly, polite, and eager to help us. We bought a 39 Salem TT. The finance manager (cant remember name) was a joy to work with. We felt he was honest and very helpful. We were able to find a TT that suited our needs and was in our budget.The Bad: When we found the TT we wanted, we noted some deficiencies that were supposed to be fixed by the time we came back to finalize financing. None of the deficiencies had been fixed (over the course of a week). When we came back to pick up the TT (after financing), some of them had still not been fixed. Unfortunately, we were on a tight timeline, so I decided not to mention it. The deficiencies that werent fixed were minor (so I thought).The Ugly: During our walk through (1st time TT owner) we were paired with an inexperienced technician who I felt like didnt know much more about TTs than I did. Recommend pairing a more experienced tech with 1st time owners. During our walk through, two fuses blew on my TT (slide & levelers). I was told it mustve been a fluke and that everything checked out. When I arrived at my destination with TT guess what didnt work? The fuses were blown on both items again. Had to run and buy fuses just to get my slide out. Also, the fresh water tank (from walk through) was full when I pulled it off the lot, didnt realize this until after I had arrived at my destination. Pulled an extra couple hundred pounds that I shouldnt have. At this point, I own it, and not sure what they would do to help. I cant just hook it up and pull it in for repairs right now.I wish I had more time, I wouldve been a lot more picky and thorough with my checks. I feel like I shouldnt have to be thorough for them though. These are checks that should be conducted by the dealer to ensure theyre selling a quality product. I feel like thats just good business. Everyone we met with was friendly and courteous, but I feel like I was sold an inferior product. Again, lesson learned on my part, but we were on a tight timeline.

For a RV sales company wow! Not sure where to start but what a great experience we had with Colton from the moment we pulled onto the yard. He helped go above and beyond with getting us the perfect camper at a great price! It gets better after having my own financing company and it all ready to go they asked me to hold off because they could assure me they had better options and that they did by saving me even more money! As first time RV owners, we visited several RV dealerships. It wasn’t until we walked into Funtown RV that we received excellent service! John Nichols greeted us and spoke with us. He listened to what we were looking for and gave us some suggestions. He then gave us space and time to look at every RV we wanted to. Once we narrowed down our list, John joined us and walked us through every one of them. He took the time to point out pros and cons. John wasn’t pushy at all. He was patient and worked with us every step of the way! He maintained contact with us throughout the entire process, again displaying sincere patience and professionalism. He was helpful and patient and professional! Together, John and Lewis put all of the items inside one of the storage boxes and then sent our RV off for delivery. Delivery was painless and simple! Mr. DeLeon was so kind and patient and even helped us set up our new RV! Overall, our first time buying experience was wonderful! John has provided us with excellent service before, during, and even after the sale! We highly recommend FunTown and we strongly recommend asking for John Nichols!

What a super experience we had purchasing a 2021 Freedom express 259FKDS in Waco today.EVERY area and person we encountered was above & beyond what we have every delta with. Trey, our salesman was a great down to earth guy in all areas, he was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and very respectful.Then we met Victor who did our walk through and let me tell you, he was amazing ! He took his time explaining absolutely everything, answered all our questions, demonstrated how everything works from the minor to the major items and shared a wealth of knowledge above and beyond our expectations. So next was Jeramie in the RV accessory store. He to gave us so much info as to what we need and his recommendations concerning surge protectors, vent screens, water hoses and electrical adapters and never once did he pressure us into purchasing anything, only shared what he knew and left the deciding up to us along with suggesting we wait until after we sign papers on the RV so we could save 10% on anything we purchased. Then we signed on the dotted line with Jaime in finance. Talk about a super up front guy. No added expenses as so many try to attach, explained the extended warranty option never once making us feel pressured to purchase and he answered all our questions concerning purchase price and the fees you just can’t avoid.This was a super experience and we would highly recommend you giving them a try if you are looking for a friendly, honest & down to earth place to do business.

Dont buy from Fun Town, they will lie to you to get you to buy a trailer, we bought a 5th wheel travel trailer, Columbus Compass. We already owned an older unit and were looking for one that the air conditioner would work in the summer time, Art our salesman told us it was one of the best a/c units available, he sold the same trailer to his mom and wouldnt sell her anything that was bad. It was 97 degrees outside 90 degrees inside, this unit is suppose to be a 4 seasons unit, took it back and they tell us its working like it is suppose to. so if you enjoy being lied too, service that doesnt exist buy from Fun Town, if you want someone honest go elsewhere. And what is an internal team?UPDATE: Since this was escalated to the Internal Team a week ago, havent heard a thing from them, this is how they escalate things at Fun Town.UPDATE: Fun Town has reached out to us, no resolution at this time but communications was made.

We purchased a brand new Heartland travel trailer the beginning of June. Upon delivery, the back bumper caps were missing, the battery cover was missing, one of the propane tanks was empty, the main AC unit didnt work, the switch for the awning didnt work, and the bracket to hold up the 3rd bunk in the bunk room wasnt installed properly. We were able to pick up bumper caps and a full propane tank from Funtown, but we were on our own for the other repairs. Our salesperson promised to send us a battery cover, but a month later, we are still waiting. Customer service at Funtown is nonexistent.

Happy that I made a purchase of course but Crista our sales associate made it the worst experience possible. She is very rude, has no interest in what you want but more so what will benefit her in a sale, makes the most unprofessional comments to customers, has no patients in dealing with a sale or answering any questions on what your buying. Based on my experience she is an Overall a rude, nasty person and I’d stay away from this sales associate at all cost. I can’t wait for pick up day so I can stop dealing with her all together.My only regret is not firing her from my sale and asking for Mandy who is a much more respectful, kind, and actually willing to go out of her way to help all customers.

This place is an absolute joke. We had 3 sales persons including the sales manager who “tried to help” Joseph told us if we put partial down payment then we would be approved and walk out with a new camper once we finished putting the rest of the down payment. After waiting for days we got denied and still as of right now we are waiting for our down payment back of $1000!!Would not recommend this place at all. Also, do not deal with Crista she has horrible customer service!THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!

We had a awesome experience at Fun Town RV in Waco. We have been looking for our camper floor plan for a while and went to several other RV places. I found the exact floor plan we wanted on the internet and so we put a down payment online to hold it. Then we got our salesman Colton Grimm he was definitely the most nicest salesman we ever dealt within on top of that a Christian. God sent him to help us and he did just that and now he is a friend/brother in Christ. We drove 3 1/2 hours to get it and definitely worth the drive. We got a great deal and met great people. This was our first purchase from Fun Town RV, and it went very smooth. We knew the price we were prepared to pay for our 2021 Forest River Salem FSX 260RTX, and Adam Alexander made it happen! There were two minor issues we noticed when we got home, and Adam had us bring it back. Victor repaired a loose wire on a clearance light, and adjusted the weight distribution hitch while we waited. Within 30-minutes, we were back on the road. Victor took the time to answer a few questions we had before leaving. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional.

Tried to get a value on a travel.trailer that my neighbor is selling. Fun Town immediately tried to hook me up with a sales person. Point blank asked if I was.looking to buy from them. And when I explained all I wanted was a value, I was cut off. Happened twice. Problem with that is if I buy this or any trailer, our (1st,) we will need things, service and maybe trade.to upgrade. If Fun Town doesnt realize that, then they are missing out on any business from me or others like me.

Crista at Funtown RV Waco is amazing. Crista took time to show us multiple RVs. We were able to take our time, ask loads of questions, and then purchase. Crista is an excellent listener and advocate for you and your next RV.

After purchase, brought camper in for minor repairs a week after looking it over. 2 months picked it up repairs not performed. Heartland products or any product having a LCI sticker do not purchase. Had the frame bend in the middle of trailer body. LCI and Heartland expressed I hit a bump in the road and would not cover the frame. WOW hope you dont plan on going very far on vacation Heartland will be a heart brake and LCI will Likely Claim Incompetency. Please if you ever purchase a Heartland Product its only worth about 65% of sticker save about 35% for repairing a poorly built trailer. By the way LCI and Heartland you are supposed to use 2 inch leaf springs with 7000lbs axles and bigger/better welded hangers. If Heartland and LCI knew trailers then they wouldnt under build frames and suspension. The problem is frames and suspension does not bend in the middle because of a bump in the road.

For a first time rv buyer this was the worst experience ..I had put money down so the rv can be put aside and then I get a call from Crista Russell saying someone made a mistake and the rv I put a down on got sold so I had to get something else so then I went with a gulfstream kingsport and the same day I parked it there was leaks from the roof vents the walls the roof inside the storage doors I had water all in the living area floor so the next day I asked to return it and I was told once it leaves the lot it my problem not theirs but I can take it in so there technicians can take a look at it it would take 7 to 8 weeks just for the parts to show up till this day I still have a brand new 2021 broken gulf stream kingsport

We needed something that would have enough floor space for these big boys, yet not a huge travel trailer to tow. We searched and searched and found this one with double slides close to us at Fun Town Waco. Mike, the salesperson, understood our needs and our price point, showed us the ones that would fit our needs.We had looked at others at Camping World, and they did not care about our needs nor follow up with a phone call after our visit.We went to pick up the one we purchased from Fun Town this week and they couldnt have been more helpful, accommodating and informative. We highly recommend them.

We visited Fun Town on a Sunday afternoon to look at a floorplan. Damian Kenyan quickly greeted us. That unit was sold so he asked to show us others. Damian was very nice and knew quite a bit about each unit we looked at. I asked if they had a Coachman Brookstone 398MBL and they did in the back. He showed us the trailer and they made us a great deal with a new hitch. We were still waiting on the sale of our old camper so we put hold money down and left. After our trailer sold, I contacted Damian and we worked on the finance application online. We agreed my wife and I would come back on Saturday to do a second walk through. Damian met up with us, we noted a few small things that needed repair and scheduled pickup.It was slightly downhill after that. I called and messaged several times wanting to find out the finance details with no luck. The finance department never reached out to me like I was told they would. Finally after over a week of trying I contacted Damian and he was able to get the info I needed. I reminded him of the issues I wanted fixed and was told it would be ready to go the morning of our pickup.We arrived to pick up on a Thursday morning at 10am, we took off a couple hours from work. We found the trailer had not even been washed, it was moved to the service bay, the new hitch installed and that’s it. All the small issues were still there. The person who did our walk through was not very knowledgeable on how our trailer worked. Several of the things he told us were wrong, luckily we were not first timers so we knew better. We found a few more problems and left to go talk to Damian about a different pickup date since we had to get back to work. We were assured all issues would be fixed and we would be out in an hour. We agreed and met with Eric Cuffee in finance. Eric was great. He seemed to truly care and take a personal interest in our purchase. After signing everything, the trailer was still not ready and they suggested I go to lunch and come back. All I wanted fixed was bad screw and a couple drawers adjusted. I returned from lunch and found the trailer was finally being moved to wash. The wash wasn’t very good. They used some big machine that misses several large spots. At this point I felt I was being rushed to leave. I was never able to do a final walk through because it was unhooked from power and closed up, I did ask, but was told everything was fixed. The walk through guy came back out to help me hitch up. He was ok until he told me the emergency brake away cable was supposed to be hooked to the trailer not the truck. He moved it from where I wanted to attach it to a clip on the trailer itself. Not only is this completely taking away from the function of the emergency brake, its illegal. I had to ask for the keys and was told they were in the microwave as if I should know, even though they were not. They found the keys in a bag and I then had to wait while they messed with each lock because the keys were not working properly. I finally left at 3:30 and had to take a full day off work. I arrived home to find only two of the issues had been fixed and in the process of fixing, another issue was created. I reported everything to the Service/PDI department and they seem to be on the ball with getting warranty work started on those items, as well as a couple new things I found. In summary there were two main issues: Not having the trailer ready at all when we arrived and, I found it hard to get anyone on the phone or to return my calls. With the exception of Damian. He would always answer my calls and answer my questions but I had to call him directly on his personal phone. I still feel like we got the best price around by thousands of dollars. I shopped around for my exact trailer and could not find a trailer priced within 5k of what Fun Town was selling it for. They did a good job, there is just room for improvement. Hopefully my service work will go good when that time comes. I highly recommend working with Damian and Eric if you are going to Fun Town Waco for your RV purchase.

Darrin was great. He was very helpful in helping us pick the right RV for us and our needs. He was very knowledgeable and it was an overall great experience. Exceptional value for the price.Mike the maintenance tech was amazing on our walk through. As first time RV owners we had A LOT of questions. He was incredibly patient and took the time time to show us everything we needed to know. It was greatly appreciated.

Noel was our salesman, Jaime was our financial advisor, and Joe was our technical advisor, from start to finish the whole process was outstanding. Our family found the perfect RV after looking through their inventory. Pricing couldn’t be beat, their deal was better than anywhere else and we searched the state of Texas. We never felt pressure to purchase from them, just solid advice. We are very happy with our purchase.

Purchased a Sandpaper 5th wheel, August of 2020. We made the mistake of trusting the free delivery option. We have owned it 8 months, it has been at Waco Service, 3 months of the 8. No COMMUNICATION. A new AC, REPLACLED TORN FLOOR, CRACKED SINK, THEN THE FLOOR NOT GLUED DOWN. CALLED 6 TIMES, NO CALL BACK. IT IS STILL AT WACO. This was supposed to be a Brand New model. But more like a Used. Not sure if they will ever fix all the defective problems, do not recommend what a waste of MONEY$$$$$

I can’t express how grateful I am for these guys!! Damian, your a rockstar! He listen to what was a must and blew me away. He not only was on point with what I needed but, ended up with so much more!! We absolutely love our 42’ fifth wheel!! Amazing!!!

Aaron and Darrin were fabulous! They listened to are budget and our requests within that budget and lead us to great options! They worked quickly, were very honest and were not pushy. We will be back, they gave us a wonderful experience!

When I arrive I was immediately greeted. The salesman Darrin was polite and listened to my needs and concerns. He was able to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed or pressure into buying anything. I would recommend Darrin to any of my work colleagues and family.

We purchased our second travel trailer at Fun Town.Darren Locking was our sales person. He was completely professional and responsive to our needs. We communicated efficiently through text and phone calls. Darren rating is 5 Stars!I had a 7.5 hour drive to pick up the trailer. I tried several times to speak with Eric who does the finance. He would not call me after running my credit to discuss interest rates, loan terms and details. I was uncomfortable with this practice since I had such a long drive.Erics rating is 3 Stars.The RV techs prepping the trailers or the back bone of Fun Town. They kindly corrected small issues and were always professional and happy to help. RV Techs rating 5 plus stars.Overall, I would purchase again.Thank you Fun Town.

My 20 year old daughter bought a brand new RV to live in at college.She stayed in the trailer for 4 days (in March) and school was changed to remote classes, at which time the trailer was parked from mid March until August 8 when she moved back to college.When setting up the trailer one of the slides was stuck from all the gooey stuff the put around the seal. Opening the slide created a reverse dent (it pulled the siding out). I called them and told them and they said they were booked out until October. Setting up the trailer we open the bed to access the under bed storage, one of the hydraulic lift assist things locks up... we have to remove the whole thing. NOW... the air conditioner in the bedroom area of the trailer is freezing up... We need help getting this squared away, (mind you this is where my college daughter lives, FOR COLLEGE... AWAY FROM HOME...)... The service department is less than willing to help!! Not offering any assistance! We even offer to pay extra or pay a service fee for someone to go to her (even though this is ALL covered under warranty)... This place is a joke. I would give zero stars if it were an option. We checked and double checked everything before we left and this trailer is still falling apart in 5 months!

On the day of our trip, the trailer brakes went out and the automatic hitch gears stripped. We showed up at Fun Town RV and explained that we were supposed to be leaving for our vacation and told them the problems we were having. They got us into the bay immediately and made sure to get it fixed as soon as possible. Joe was amazing in customer service and being quick and diligent. We really appreciate the hard work they did to get us on the road as soon as possible. Big thanks to them!

Aaron was a super salesman! He made our entire experience worth it. The product knowledge and honesty he gave us while looking for our trailer was so much appreciated. He’s definitely your go to guy! From looking to buying the whole transaction was a wonderful experience thanks to him!

Wish I didn’t give them my business. Will never recommend this place. The sales manager was our salesman and comes off professional but gave us the run around for 5 weeks before we finally got our camper. We had $1000 hold on the camper we wanted and the day we closed at the bank he emails instead of calling to say they sold our camper...that we had $1000 hold on....he offered a refund. I already had insurance and loan for the camper no I don’t want refund...I want my camper. Called corporate they had one hot shotted from factory. My husband goes and does a walk through of new camper and the original camper they said they accidentally sold was still there. Just a huge joke. They have amazing deals but don’t do it!!! Not worth the stress y’all!! 🤬 Waco fun town needs to hire a whole new staff ASAP. Sorry not sorry!(It made me post 1 Star) I was trying to post no star.

I wish you could give something negative stars because that’s what this place deserves. They completely took advantage of and ripped off my friend Sean’s parents who have worked hard their whole lives and are trying to enjoy themselves now. Such a shame to treat your customers this way. You really should be ashamed! Avoid at all costs!!

If you thought buying a car was sleazy, wait until you get a trade quote from Scott. We have a brand new 2020 Winnebago that books out for trade of roughly 18000 and their offer was 11000. This unit is not available anywhere for sale under 25000. Let you double your money off me, not today. Sales in the RV world are through the roof right now and dealers can ask almost anything they want for new inventory due to COVID, but dont let them say your trade is not valuable as the demand is extremely high for nice clean trades. Remember the Badger Car salesman commercial, this has been my experience with this dealer. Do your homework and find another dealer if you can or get the polyester suit badger coming off his popcorn break.
