Called and was told person I need to speak to wasn’t available but if I would leave my number and information they would get back to me. 3-4 days later still hadn’t heard anything so I called back and they had no record of my information. Again took my information and suggested they come out to measure to avoid mistakes and get exactly what I want done right. Setup a time for that day at 2 pm. By 4 pm multiple calls and messages with again no return calls and guy shows up close to 5 without notice. Luckily my wife was home. Got what he needed and said he would get back with us with estimate. 4 days later no word. Multiple calls and leaving voicemails and yet have gotten a response. At this point we have began looking into other companies because we need to finish our remodel and this very unprofessional business is evidently to busy to even answer the phone. Negative five stars should be an option

Worth the read:: Glass Doctor installed solar screens for my windows around my house. I am glad to have found them. They were very friendly, honest and straight forward. I have met several of their team members and they all have such great energy and had some of the best customer service I had ever ran across. I had called around before I got to them and several other companies wanted to sell me windows and push all of this other stuff on me- when I literally only wanted new solar screens, due to it being so hot in the summer, to help cool and shade, plus, they make your house look so good. When I called Glass Doctor, they actually listened to my needs and had someone come right out that day to look at what I had and do an estimate. They said no problem and ordered my measurements. It was bad weather in the coming weeks so there was a delay on install. They called me throughout that week and touched base with me the entire time. Letting me know they would be out as soon as the rain stopped. I feel other companies would have just left me hanging and wondering. They followed up the entire time. I am so pleased with just this service alone, not to mention how awesome my windows look. They offer other services as well that I am looking into. They definitely have a customer for life.

My family was visiting our Baylor Bear and since she needed a new windshield we wanted to handle this for her while visiting. We found this company when we got there and were thankful that they were very prompt, efficient and courteous, we had a busy itinerary so it was important to us not to spend too much time on this. After picking up the vehicle, we found there was an oversight or miscommunication, as soon as I brought it to their attention, they resolved immediately and painlessly, again, not wanting to spend any extra time on this while visiting the youngest of our family I was beyond thankful for their willingness to comply. If anyone of my local friends ever needs glass work or windows replaced, I would suggest not dealing with Glass Doctors of Waco. Any company that won’t return calls and not show up to even give an estimate when they say they will, doesn’t need your business. Supposedly they have a 4.9 customer review rating. Well, I don’t see how. The absolute worst customer service of any company I’ve dealt with recently. I called another company, Rocket Glass and Mirror and they came to the house, gave me a fair price, returned my calls, and did the job I paid them to do. Not only those things, but were fast and courteous. From now on I deal exclusively with Rocket Glass and Mirror.

SUPER impressed with these guys. They were so quick to respond and when they came out to give us an estimate they ended up just fixing our window just a few hours later the same day! They did quick, great work! Also a big thing for us is they never tried to up-sale or get more out of us like other companies we reached out to prior. Just straight forward and helpful. Great, fast service. They’ve installed two windshields for us and I can’t recommend them enough. You might pay a tiny bit more (maybe), but you certainly get what you pay for. I’m not driving around with blue tape holding my car together because their highly trained team installs with faster curing glue. Please do yourself a favor and give them a call!!

Don’t bother with these people. They’re a waste of time. I had a window in my kitchen with a cracked pane. Called on Monday. Left all my info with their answering service. No return call. Wednesday called and gave all my info again, this time to Naomi. Somebody was supposed to come measure the window. Nothing. Tried again Friday. Left a voice mail. No return call. Fourth and final try after that talked to yet another person. They actually did have my info in the computer this time. Said they’d call me back. Still waiting a week later...

I used Glass Doctor to buy a mirror, (boyfriend shot the other one in the middle of the night... thought it was an intruder... Im just gonna leave that right there...) and could not be any happier! Ethan and his team helped me track down exactly what I was looking for. The staff is seriously friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make it exactly right. Their service is top notch; I would definitely use them again and recommend going with them first. As we were driving toward Waco, Texas on our way back to Illinois, some pebbles were kicked up on our windshield by several semis in front of us. Unfortunately one was hard enough to crack our windshield. The man at Glass Doctor reassured us that our windshield wouldnt disintegrate and we would have time to get it fixed at our next stop in Memphis, Tennessee. Even though we werent getting the work done there, the generous attitude of reassurance and wanting to help us is priceless!

The people at Glass Doctor were awesome! Super friendly, very professional. I went in with a cracked beyond repair windshield on my 2017 Camry hybrid. They were able to get the glass and put it on the next afternoon! (Would have been morning if I hadn’t had class.) It only took about an hour, and I could see my car the entire time (which was honestly kind of fascinating!). The price quoted was the same as I was quoted through safelite so I had nothing to lose except good service. I also had the opportunity to hear them talk to other customers which really let me see in to how they run business. They are thorough and do their very best with each and every one. If you need any glass repaired or replaced, don’t even bother going anywhere else.

As a new grad, I am on a tight budget. I called around to pretty much every auto glass repair shop in town for a quote on my 2009 Toyota and The Glass Doctor was the most competitive on price without skimping on quality (some places use USED auto glass to drive down prices! Couldnt believe that.) I worked directly with the owners (a married couple- so nice!) and I was out in 90 minutes flat. You dont have to wait around for two hours like other places will require. In, out, cheap, and painless replacement of my windshield. I also got a 1 year warranty for free. Love it!

As their commercial on the radio says, they will have your foggy window replaced before your coffee gets cold. They did it so quick that I didnt even have time to finish my coffee. I had a really foggy window in my living room, they came in, took the old window out and replaced it. They were there for maybe 15 to 20 minutes. They were quick, courteous and cleaned up everything afterwards. Great job. Overall pleased with their service

The men who came out to my house were actually early. They worked cleanly and quietly. The first window was fixed that morning, but the second window had to be special ordered. It arrived when they said it would and again the men arrived early. They were very professional and polite and made sure that there was no glass on the floor. I will call them for any glass need.

Glass Doctor H.O.T. is a wonderful business that provides excellent service! I had a hard to find back quarter glass broken at a softball game at 6 p.m. on a Friday with a cold front about to blow in and could find no one able to repair it until Monday. Doug actually came out to the ballpark at 8 p.m. and crash wrapped the window for me, found the replacement glass that no one else could find and ordered it, and came to my house the very next day and installed it! He managed to do all this work for me while also working in West helping repair windows and get people back into their homes. Amazing!

I emailed Glass Doctor - Heart of Texas on Saturday morning. He called back Saturday at noon and came to the house that afternoon. He diagnosed my problem and gave me several options with examples. We settled on a plan and he said it would be between one and two weeks. He called early Wednesday morning and had my new windows installed by 2:00 pm. Glass Doctor replaced my windshield earlier this year after a rock hit it going down I35. It was quick, they already had my windshield in stock, so I didnt have to wait! Earlier this week another rock hit my windshield on I35 and I called up Glass Doctor immediately. Today, they sent out someone to have it repaired under warranty and they didnt a fantastic job! We are new to the area so Glass Doctor was one of my first calls when our window was shattered from a golf ball. From the beginning to the end, Glass Doctor has been a blue chip company. They are efficient, friendly and time-sensitive. The cost was comparable to other companies but the service and professionalism far exceeded most of my experiences to date. Doug Dotson in particular answered all questions and even went out of his way to help prevent future window occurrences. Many companies over-promise and under-deliver; this is not the case with Glass Doctor. I have even bragged to others about the competency and friendliness of this company and highly recommend it!!!

I had a pretty nasty rock chip caused by a rock thrown up from a big tuck on I-35. The staff at glass doctor was super friendly and did an amazing job fixing my window. The Glass Doctor - Heart of Texas provided excellent service in replacing my windshield. From the initial call that was transferred from my insurance claims representative to the completion of the work, by the technician, everything was done in a professional and courteous manner. The first morning the representative took my information, informed me that the windshield would be ordered that afternoon and the tech would call me the next morning prior to coming to replace the windshield. The second morning I received a call that the tech would be there in 5 mins. Once he arrived, he said that it would take him approximately 45 mins. to complete the work. Like clockwork, the windshield was replaced, I was given warranty options without any pressure sales, I made my payment and the tech was on his way.

FLAWLESS SERVICE!....INTEGRITY!...QUALITY PRODUCT!...KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMER DESIRES WITH FOLLOW-THROUGH TO MAKE THE JOB COME OUT RIGHT!----this was my experience with Glass Doctor. Ive been involved with 2 other builds/remodels requiring windows during the past 2 plus decades, and Glass Doctor is by far the best Ive dealt with. Window project was second floor bedroom window (condo unit) that gets heat soaked in the afternoon. We needed high quality energy management type glass. Doug quoted me several months ago, but I had to wait due to other finanical obligations. When I was ready, so was he, with a cheerful, the previous quote stands. Due to scheduling issues, I was not able to be present for the install, and Doug took care of things as if I was right there...then went above and beyond. Not only did he NOT use heavy equipment (he erected scaffold set vs using hoist lift) that coud have damaged underground irrigation systems, he discovered the cheaply installed trim was glued vs nailed and couldnt be saved. Rather than leave it to me (or do a shabby job) he took the extra steps to visit a local builder supply, purchase higher quality material AND matching paint!!....and he retrimmed and painted! With humble tone he offered, I hope that was okay, I knew youd want it done that way....he continued....Id like to charge for the materials only. When I insisted we compromise as to add the extra labor in the bill, Dougs answer was simply put....removing and reinstalling the trim is part of the quote, we had to do it anyway. Wow. Doug, and his Glass Doctor crew are not just window installers, they professional craftsman that take pride in doing the job right.
