Always such a great shopping experience here, the lady working the meat counter was very helpful even when we asked for a second round of steaks after seeing the price of the first 8 t-bones. She went above and beyond to get us more chorizo from the back when we took everything in the case. Our cashier was awesome, and so helpful while our 2 month old and year and a half babies were getting fussy. Overall a great experience like we always get at this family friendly market.

Nicely stocked Mexican grocery store, I normally wouldn’t shop here but i was already at this parking lot so i decided to visit. I was able to get the basics I needed here (milk & eggs). There was also no line so I was able to check out in a breeze.

There’s flies inside the bread cases. Both of them. There’s flies on the fruit. I’ve only been here 5 minutes. I am buying packaged items only. Disgusted.

This is a great market clean I found what I was looking for plus I wanted to thank you to the kitchen I bought 16 pieces of chicken with rice and beans tortillas and they give me a 4 jarritos for free and a flan for only $20 this is a meal for 2 days that’s a great great deal this is a way to help the economy on this difficult times thank you so much to all of you guys, from my family to yoursMay God bless you all

I appreciate that they always have fresh new cilantro throughout the whole day unlike their nearby competitors have old spoiling cilantro in the morning and evening.

Zero stars. This place is terrible. Go in to get a couple of t-bones and packs if soda that were on sale and while walking to the meat counter, slip and fall on about 1/2 inch of water. The guy mopping the floor where several people are already standing needs to know that he should wring out the mop before mopping the floor. No one could care less what had happened. A woman who said she was the manager could only say oh sorry. Then I was told while checking out that the soda, despite the products being shown in the weekly advertiser, as well as, labels all over the shelves, that that soda really isnt on sale. No more Cardenas for this family. Buhbye!!

The store in general is clean and the employees are very nice. My biggest and only complaint is they work at the speed of molasses especially in the food take out station. And they gave one person attending customers. But by the time I left they had a second person assisting.

Found what i went look for at a fair prices

I had an issue about a cashier charging me twice for a bottle set I had purchased. I didn’t notice until 2 days later. I went back early this morning to explain the problem. Luckily I had the receipt and after they checked the cameras they saw I was charged twice for the same item. Just check your receipts as you should in any store. Mistakes happen but luckily the employees helped me resolve the issue and apologized for the inconvenience.

Employees are great 👍 my only complaint is I have purchased tostadas twice and both times they were stale!! The first time that happen I didn’t really care but twice!!! This tostadas have a supposed expiration date but they still taste stale and gross.

When you walk in the door it smells like youre standing in a fish market. Ive never been in a grocery store that smells like that, so I didnt stay very long. I guess if someone wanted to lose weight, this is the place to go because you wont be staying long.

Their tortillería and cocina department are delicious. They offer a variety of Hispanic products. However their fruits and vegetables arent always the best quality.

The two women who helped me Maria, and Margarita in Orportun were at great help.

Fast food there it has been sitting for days most probably..and the taste is nasty. Im not a chef but you can tell on the spot the,food is not good. save your stomach. Run. 1 to 10 is O. Dont like it

I try to give my business here, but it is full of issues. I asked for a product from the manager and he promised to get it in and even said they usually carry it. I asked the person in that department a couple weeks later and they promised they would get it in. Its been over a month and they still havent gotten it. Everytime I try to call the manager I get Hes out to lunch, He just left or the I will transfer you and it rings and rings until it just hangs up.Its just not worth shopping here. The staff cares less about its customers, unless your Spanish lol. The produce is horrible. Wrinkled peppers, a lot of rotted items in with the okay items. Prices are way to high for having to bag your own groceries.I have had to constantly throw away meat or take it back. The prepared packs of meat dont last more than 2 to 3 days before it starts smelling. Vons, Stater Brothers, and even Vallarta are way better. They may be more expensive, but their quality is far superior to Cardenas.Even my landlord, who is from Mexico, wont shop there. He says the meat is horrible. I walk and it is closer, but I can walk further or take the bus for now on.Worthless Store

Cardenas has the best bollios in town. Their service is great. Its a little more expensive than the other Latin markets, but the quality is much better.

Prices were much lower then most stores. Very clean and friendly people assisting you.

Went to buy Tamales the beef where dry but pork and cheese was very good.Was short changed for a couple of dollars but the time I realized it I was driving away and my husband was hungry so that was that.NEXT TIME I COUNT MY CJANGE.

The groceries are good and good variety of vegetables and fruit. However I did buy some meat that was actually bad the next day I was going to cook the meat had this awful smell. I should have gone and return the meat but I just had too many things to do. I will just not buy meat there in the future.

Wow has this place gotten expensive!! Although the way over priced food I purchased was super fresh and made to order. I have to say the girl working the drive thru was incredibly rude. She literally shoved the drink in my face. So although the corn dogs were fresh, the rude service and super high prices are not worth it.Personal Recommendation: go to Sonics instead.

I was not very happy with my visit to Cardenas today. It saddens me to see that in 2018, that my money has to be checked ($10 bill) and I get looked at as if I was passing of fraudulent money. I would have never thought this if, the five people ahead of me, got the same treatment. Coming from a well educated and a teacher in this desert for the last 29 years I take offense to this persons treatment, and how she looked up into the security window, as if I were a criminal. Not all Afican American people are criminals. This will be my last visit.

I bought 20 lbs of beans and as I was prepping/soaking 10lbs of beans to cook I found rocks in them. This has never happened to me before.

Carnitas, tamales and rice are great also the fruit I buy Ala cart are very good, people who work there are nice and helpful

I bought 3 dozen tamales for an early Christmas gathering with my children and I was extremely disappointed. The cheese tamales barely had any cheese but tons of jalapenos. That were too hot to eat. My beef tamales were so dry and were burnt on the bottom. Actually had black char on the bottom. We called them at 10:30 in the morning and ordered the tamales and they said that would be ready by 1:00. We got there at 3:00 and had to wait for 30 minutes while they put our order together. I paid $15.99 per dozen of these but they were not worth it. Will never get tamales there again.

Why would your deli ever serve menudo without hominy? At least tell the person buying it that doesnt have it so they dont go home expecting a hot bowl of regular menudo and end up disappointed, if its extra or you have to ask for it communicate that. unacceptable

I went to Cardenas in Victorville to buy tamales. They were keep inside a warmer with overhead lamps instead of keeping them in a steamer. They were dry and hard. The lights dried them out. The foods were expensive. Well back to Vallarta

Worse service Ive ever experienced. Called in a complaint 3hrs ago and theyre trying to see what happened now. What happened in the last 3hrs? Was I just dismissed? Will never cine here again!!! Oh and never got my foodJust awful. So disappointed

Went to go have breakfast yesterday morning with my family, and they got my kids order wrong. My sister went to go tell one of the girls (the tall one), and she looks at my sister shrugged get shoulders and walked away, didnt say anything. So i waited about 15 -20 min just so they can make the eggs right.. it was ridiculous. VERY BAD COSTUMER SERVICE .
