I purchased a new adjustable base and mattress from Angel. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the products and my concerns for wanting a new mattress.The delivery went smoothly. My delivery techs, Brett & Sal were very professional, nice, fast, & thorough. They both wanted to make sure I didn’t have any questions and reassured me if there was a problem with the adjustable base and the mattress to not hesitate to contact the store so they can make it right.I absolutely love the new bed. Days that I’m sick and stuck in bed, having the adjustable base makes watching tv in bed much more comfortable and enjoyable. The cooling technology in the Axel mattress is amazing. I get a good nights rest without sweating in the middle of the night.

I have had 2 furniture sets, stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer, dryer and now an upright freezer. My next purchase will be a new fridge. I miss everyone there. No matter who they were. Mrs.Erica is the best manager in this company. I do not care what anyone says. Regardless of our coworker experience Jake was one of the most helpful and informative people I knew there.(I hope that his family is doing well. Especially little Ethan. And his wife. I hope that they have many memories to look forward too.) Carl was the most helpful worker there. People really did not understand Mrs.Tracy like I did. She was like a second mother to me. The more I got to know her the more I understood her. I miss Mrs.Angel. I got to know a lot of good people associated with Rent One. Say whatever you want. Let me not forget Romeo, he was so another informative person there. B.J. May have left a lot of people unhappy. But I was happy for him. He taught me everything that I knew. Rent One was one of the most influential jobs that I ever had. I miss Rent One. Hopefully they would rehire me if I ever applied again. The customers made working there so easy. Just to know how happy they were, just to see how it when we delivered the items that they purchased. Being a Delivery Technician was one of the most trivial jobs. But Rent One made me a strong man. I actually got to meet The owner. Im Sorry If I forgot his name but He was very good to all of us. No matter who we were. If you ever got a delivery by Sal Warren just know that I tried my best to represent Rent One the best that I could. I miss that Job. Let me not forget Lance. He was so insightful. Also Trevor will always be like a bro to me. I miss Big Corey, Little Cory and Zac. I miss Mrs Angie, and my good friend Stevo. We had so many amazing conversations. I wont forget Mrs. Tabitha. Before she came to Herrin Rent One store she and I had a run to do and I felt so proud to work with someone like her. Just knowing that I miss them all so much. There are so many other people from so many stores who saw me maybe somedays I felt out of place but they made sure that I kept on pushing and made me feel like I was considered family. Sold a broken refrigerator for cash deal, and told us if we would have rented it they would fix it but since we paid cash we voided any kind of warranty, delivery drivers showed up stoned and had lost there dolly somewhere so they had to carry it in and dropped it 3 times, the guy they sent to look at it didnt know any more than i did and came into my house talking about needing pain pills, the manager verbally said in front of both of us that se had a 90 day warranty but insists she never said any such thing, $2000 dropped in 20 mins of being in the store and they have lost any future business from us for sure...

They showed no interest at all in as even being there.

Jake and BJ were very friendly and swift at taking the furniture apart and made sure not to damage anything. They made pleasant small talk about my dog and listened politely as I went on about her. 5 ⭐️ for friendliness and service today.

Amazing service and delivery!

They didnt have..well..what I wanted was new online but not available to order for purchase. I went to a store and settled on a couch until the new online one I wanted became available..ok good..set up the delivery for May 9th...I called the day before just to check...the lady tells me...they are booked for the 9th and are delivering my furniture on next week Wednesday...🤔🤔 when were you gonna tell me the delivery changed. If I hadnt called I would have been none the wiser about them not coming when they said and they were not going to call me. I could not even get the furniture bc nee online items are not available they lie about what they are going to do then dont even have the decency to inform you. Yeah go to Rent One...they are Grrrrreat!! NOT!!

Never felt obligated to buy anything. The employees were awesome and hilarious. Not often can you go into a business and laugh and joke with them. All in all it was a great experience.

My wife and I buy and renovate houses to sell.( hate the term flip) We went into a local Rent One to find furniture to stage our most recent project. Erica, and Gary were both at the store and showed us what they had in the store. Erica went and brought in other options for us to look at from another Rent One store in order for us to make the choice we liked the best. We only worked with Erica and Gary and can honestly say they are outstanding customer service representatives.

I got all of my furniture and appliances at Rent One in Murphysboro for 15yrs. They were disrespectful and never delivered on time. They would often forget to pick up my payment. I do not normally write a review but because of the exceptional customer service I have experienced with Rent One in Herrin, Illinois - I thought I should. The employees there go above and beyond the call of duty in assisting me with payments and with picking out the right furniture for me and my 2 dogs. They understood what I was needing and helped me pick out the perfect furniture for easy maintenance and appropriate for me to be comfortable. I would recommend the Herrin store to anyone needing furniture at affordable rates with great customer service. They do not pressure you or talk you into buying something you regret later and if you get something that does not suit your needs, they are so friendly on returning it and finding you something that does work for you.

Paid off my bill .at Benton Illinois the turn over of employees are horrible.every time I go into and pay my bill they were not friendly. I have been a customer for many years .bought tvs living room bedroom sets.tablets computers washer and dryer fridgerator stove and others furniture. I paid my bill in full and was disappointed that after I paid the bill not 1 associate offered to asked me what they could do to keep me as a customer and if there was anything i was interested in.they didnt seem to care.lost a good customer.my name is REBECCA ( BUERKLE)LAMINACK.Imade friends with people you have list .they trea6ed me like family.. the turn over is hurting your business. I will never by from the Herrin store again! My husband has Cancer. We was waiting on a disbilty check. We told them we would be in to pay has soon as we got it. The came over banged on the and rang the door bell. The would not let up. It takes time for my husband to get to the door. Then they called again today. It is over 53 dollars. That is all we owe. I have bought of the Marion store and I owe them a whole lot more and they are not acting That way.

I wish there was a way to give this store no stars. This store is not even worth giving a one star. I will tell you if you are a customer who wants to be put through torment and poor customer service by all means this is the place to go. They dont care about you as a customer or what is going on in your life all they care about is the fact they get money in their hands. I moved to Herrin IL from 5 hours away from where my family resides. My father passed away suddenly and I had to pick up in the middle of the night and go back to my home town to handle things. I am his only son and my sister who is from a different father went with me. I am dealing with family and the fact my father died and Carl calls me and he is rude every time that you talk to him anyway starts by saying I have to have a payment or my stuff today. There was no hi or any type of asking when I could make a payment. I was extremely upset so I simply hung up the phone that was not even a Rent One number to begin with he used his personal phone. He proceeds to call me back and yells on my voice mail and my sister listens to it and she calls and talks to the store manager that seemed to actually show some fake compassion in the matter and says sorry she will handle it and for us to call and let her know when she can get our payment. I wait a few days and we call and again no compassion just we need a payment and flip out and then all of a sudden they figure out that they could move the payment to the end so it made the account current. By the Aarons where I also have dealings with actually credited the payment which completely erased the payment. It seems like everything fell apart after that I have dealt with nothing but rudeness since which I finally heard from a friend that Rent One is known for this after you pay so much on an item because they truly hope that you will just return the stuff so they can make more money be re-renting it to some else which by the way they are not supposed to rent it out for more than the total amount it would cost someone for 24 months so if someone has paid 18 months on an item they can only by law rent it to a new customer for only 6 months which I hear they do not do they make as much as they can off of it. So be very careful because I am not dealing with these people any more and I happen to be returning items that only have 6 payment left on them so lets see how many payments is posted on them later. but hey I am smart enough that I am logging model and S# so that I can see if they pull any of this because I will repot it. They do not care about you as a customer or a person and as long as you have family that happens to be more important they dont like it. They are a company and staff that expects to be the first in line and number 1 of importance. So if you are a type of customer that wants to deal with a company that wants to be the number one importance go in and talk with Erika or Carl and you will NOT BE LET DOWN! If you consider that family is the number one priority in your life then DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR RENT ONE BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE WHAT WHY OR WHO IS MORE IMPORTANT. Oh and they will try and act as if they care for about 2 seconds and you can call and let them know of issues and actually tell them that you are 5 hours away dealing with something and the person you say this too still will go to your house to see if you are there. I have a card that was left on my door to show that oh and of course I almost forgot I have cameras on the outside of my house that took the picture....... The really funny thing is I signed on to the online account and seen a $10 charge for a house call that was done after I already called and told them I was dealing with an issue 5 hours away...... Hope you have better luck with these people who dont care about you as a customer than I did because all they care about is putting money in there pockets and not about customers. Be wise go to Aarons you wont be sorry for doing it because I was really happy returning to a card in my mailbox from Aarons saying sorry for my loss.
