RACIAL DISCRIMINATION My husband, who is of Spanish descent, was just challenged going into this store with my son for being without a mask - despite being fully vaccinated and with 15 other WHITE PEOPLE in sight without masks. Guess it only applies to spanish people? DO BETTER.

The deli is sooooo slow. I was doing instacart and they were taking more than 5 minutes to slice half a pound of Turkey. If you do instacart, AVOID THIS STORE, unless you want a bad review yourself for delivering items late.

This is a top Food Lion. Now that re-model is complete this store is my go to store for everything. Always clean and organized. On busy days they are constantly watching to get you checked out as quickly as possible.

I noticed today this place is getting busier. I have no doubt that the most of customers are having a great experience here. The cashier today helped me was professional and quick also he explained about the gift card activation receipts which most people would not even bother explain

Very convienient place as store is closed to airport. It has all you need perishable item which need for house. Great place has good aelectiin of wine champagne. Highley recommend.

I love this place and the employees!! I have been shopping here for years!! I know most employees by name!! Josh, Elizabeth, and Melvin are some of our favorite people here!! The remodel is great, but what happened to the bathrooms?!!! The stalls shrunk!!! Otherwise, fantastic place!!

Love this Food Lion! Clean, organized and rarely crowded. I dont see any empty shelves - always well stocked. Im not trying to walk around pallets on the floor because of restocking - aisles are not blocked. This is store is a grocery shoppers dream!

I enjoy Food Lion. Prices are more affordable than Safeway, Wegmans, or Giant Food. Staff are nice and Elizabeth, the manager, helps me with my Spanish.

Absolutely flawless customer service at this Herndon Food Lion at Mc Learen Square! I’ve never had better customer service at any Food Lion. The manager William does a fantastic job running things and deserves recognition. Every employee is friendly and greets you! There is one employee named Frank who will go out of his way to help and he will answer the phone at closing or even a couple minutes after closing and try to help!

The renovations makes the grocery store very welcoming.

The best! Never crowded, never a parking issue, cashiers always nice, has what you need. Honestly I live close to like Giant and all...but I drive here to not deal with the nightmare crowds and bad parking.

Food Lion has fresh produce and good meat. The grocery is the right size...I can drop quickly which is important to me. Staff are helpful and can locate I items I missed. Very good value 👍 and easy parking.

They are redesigning again but so far so good. Im still trying to learn where they put things with the changes but Ill have to wait until they are completely finished.

Prices and place is awesome and very nice. I give it two stars because the manager is very rude to her own staff. I believe managers should always encourage and respect their employees. Not beat them when they make a mistake, which is bad for business. She is from Asian descent, and I love my foreign brothers and sisters, but it is unsightly. Please someone address the situation as soon as possible. Your employees are suffering.

I like this store because its small and easy to run in and out and get stuff. I have been coming here for a very long time and the people who work here are very nice. It is the most convenient grocery store that I know of. However they are a little short on some things like produce selection. If you need something fast and or you need to buy a lot of groceries this is a great store to go to.

Very Friendly staff. I mostly buy fruits. The fruits priced average quite expensive compared to the nearby Korean store. But quality here is very good. (That counts on the price). But hospitality in this store is good compared to other chain of stores I went so far. Energetic greeting by staff makes it better for you to forget the flaws of the store. Maybe other stores should follow this. Because customers are the boss without them no business, no money and no job- pretty simple.

This is the nicest grocery store this side of Herndon/Oak Hill. The manager is very sweet and helpful, she always says hello to my wife and I. The store is clean, well organized, and has good prices. I enjoy shopping here.

Nice store. Nice layout. Nice cashiers. Seems to have almost everything you need.

Diverse food selections and quality meats. I always find fresh veggies and fruits. The only thing that could be improved upon would be the check out process. There are only six lanes with one express (15 items or less) that is rarely open. A self check-out lane or two would also go a long way in improving the wait times to check-out.

This Food Lion location is always very clean but rarely ever crowded. It seems to carry what I am looking for whenever I stopped in. Parking was never an issue. The employees there are very helpful and polite.

This is my favorite store, not because it has the best prices but people the people that work here are AMAZING! Either myself or my husband are in here everyday. They are over the top helpful and friendly. I’d give them more stars if I could. The people that work here make me never want to move.

First time here, very competitive pricing to other local stores. I had very prompt and helpful service when checking out. I was a little concerned about the surroundings though, some odd characters walking around.

I love food lion store but the guy at the register acted like he didnt want to use his store discount card for me but he had no problem that it letting the guest before me use the car he second-guessed himself when I got up to the register I have four people in front of me and he asked each and every last one of them for their Food Lion card and out of the four three did not have a card and he offered to use his car which was the store courtesy card at the cashier is keep at the register when I got up there he didnt ask me anything he didnt say hello how you doing or anything when I said can you use the store card he had to think about it for about 10 seconds but she didnt do that with the other customers

Adequate supermarket store. Not as many items as competing stores, such as Giant, Harris Teeter and Wegmans. Reasonable prices and conviently located, such that I can walk here, while other stores would require a car ride.

Probably the worst grocery store. Terrible protein/seafood section especially the seafood. Produce isnt great either. Nice staff though.
