I took my laptop in because the camera had stopped working. When the tech booted the machine he noticed that it was performing very slowly. I had assumed the reduced performance was just because it was an aging machine. He suggested I replace my conventional hard drive with a solid-state hard drive. I reluctantly agreed with some reassurances from the technician that my performance would improve. In less than two hours I received a call that the machine was ready for pick up. The camera, it turns out, had quit working due to an automatic update. That was an easy fix (for him) and was done at no cost. The new solid-state hard drive made a huge improvement in the speed of my machine. What’s more, the diagnostics that the technician ran on my conventional hard drive indicated that it was on the verge of failing. Had he not noticed the poor performance and recommended the replacement, I may have been back for a data recovery effort very soon.

This is a follow up to my previous first experience with Fatech. For some reason my Windows 10, on upgrading itself, froze on rebooting, making it seem like the computer was dead. No power, no power cord connection lighting, NOTHING!!!Well, probably the motherboard, but drop it by. Gulp! But I knew I still have a ways to go on my warranty. So I did. I think the next day, Done. You can come pick it up. Of course I phoned—Im still a phone guy, and so is affable George. Turned out Vlad wanted to check something out before testing the motherboard. Turns out I had just read and done that process with an old computer to reset the BIOS. He did it to get Windows to behave itself. Working like a charm since.Thanks, Vlad. And George.PS — I know plenty of businesses that would have made a case for a new motherboard to warranty provider, and pocketed the labor; and not a few even the motherboard, as few would be the wiser. Hats off to honesty and honor, you both!!!

Brought in newly built custom PC to diagnose the issues with it not starting up, work was done very quickly and they were very good about communicating any issues they found. Price was very reasonable and PC was up and running within a few hours. Great part selection and awesome customer service. Will be my go to computer repair and supply from now on.

Fantastic customer service at a low price. My laptop battery wasnt holding a charge at all when unplugged, and Fatech fixed it in 48 hours. To make sure it was truly fixed, George charged the laptop and then unplugged it and played YouTube videos on a loop to run down the battery several times to make sure the battery was truly working. He also sent me multiple screenshots throughout the day to show me the battery levels as it was being charged, used up, and recharged. Excellent service, all for only $40.

Vladimir repaired an old Lenovo of mine several years ago, back before he had a storefront. It was an ordeal finding someone to even look at the thing let alone fix it. Not worth fixing, was the response I got from half a dozen other shops. I called Fatech. Vladimir said he couldnt promise anything, but hed take a look. He was able to fix it, charged a reasonable price for the repair, and the thing is still working. A year or so after that, he repaired a Dell laptop that Dell attempted to repair but couldnt. So, this past summer, when the contract for my business phone service came up for renewal, I decided to give Vladimir a call to see if he could provide me with comparable business phone service and maybe save me a few bucks. Im glad I checked with him because the 3CX system he suggested is not only better than what I had before in terms of ease of use, accessibility, and flexibility, its far less expensive. In summary, Vladimir and Fatech havent let me down yet. For anything computer related, check with these guys first. Theyre knowledgeable, patient, and reasonably priced. Several years ago, one of our laptops, a Lenovo Thinkpad, stopped charging because of a broken port for the power cable. Other authorized repair shops advised us to replace the laptop because it couldnt be repaired and would require a motherboard replacement. On an impulse we contacted Fatech. Vlad offered to look at our laptop and let us know if it could be fixed. He later let us know that it could be repaired, completed the repair, and charged us a great price for his work.Since then we have had him do another laptop repair (on a Dell laptop), and he arranged business phone service at a MUCH better price than our previous provider (Verizon). Fatech has become our goto tech support. Definitely recommended!

In this day of corporate greed and lackluster customer service, it is unusual to find a company that openly demonstrates a customer-first attitude. I have found such a company. After experiencing a computer crash, I took my computer to Fatech International. Vladimir not only installed a new drive and restored my data; he spent an extended amount of time analyzing the data and working with me to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome, all at a very reasonable price considering the time he spent. The problem was compounded because of a Windows crash, not a hard disk crash, and no complete backup. To me that demonstrated an emphasis upon customer satisfaction and appreciation rather than profit gain. I would highly recommend Vladimir at Fatech International to anyone that has a computer issue.

Although my laptop ended up being a complete paperweight, Vladimir still took the time to attempt to troubleshoot it and give me option on if I wanted to attempt to pursue fixing it. Because of the design of the laptop, he showed me that the prices for the motherboard would be essentially the price of a new laptop and probably not worth it.I admire both his honesty regarding the parts replacement and the time that he took to try to see if the problem was not as bad as I thought. My laptop screen replacement was overnighted and was replaced that very day. They did a phenomenal job + they have spare computer parts so if anything breaks on my PC, I like knowing I can walk in and buy replacements faster than waiting for Amazon. Fatech makes it a lot easier for me to serve my clients that have Lenovo computers. Working directly with Lenovo support has historically been nothing but a nightmare. We went from a 2-3 week turnaround on repair with Lenovo support to ONE day turnaround time when using Fatech. On top of that, they have been professional and delightful to work with. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad x230. The ac port became loose. I called a bunch of computer repair shops. Some said I should just buy a new computer as the repair would cost more than the computer was worth. Another place said they could do it but would have to replace the entire motherboard in order to replace the ac port. Then I called Fatech. They asked me to drop the computer off at Postal Plus and theyd pick it up the next day. They got back to me fairly quickly and said they could replace the port for a cost of around $90. They did the work, and Im thrilled. I would not hesitate to use Fatech again. Theyre great. I highly recommend them.

Could not sign into my Lenovo 470s. The reinstall usb stick Lenovo said did not work. Took it to Vladimar at FaTech and he determined that the stick was faulty and loaded Windows 10 from his resources. He also added all the necessary drivers for successful operation. Very intelligent fellow who cares about serving his customers. Fees were quite reasonable.

I brought in a Lenovo Flex laptop that was having intermittent screen problems which kept for 3 days - they could not reproduce the problem and I had to take my computer back because there was nothing they could do.(It seems that the problem my laptop had was not unusual - I later saw that others have posted about it.)So for months I had a laptop that was unreliable and unusable in my business. I had to use another smaller and less well-suited device on a daily basis and only turned on the laptop from time to time.I did eventually manage to get a bunch of pictures of my screen problems with my laptop hooked up to an external monitor.At that time when I took it back, they said my warranty was up.However Fatech agreed to contact Lenovo about it and they managed to get Lenovo to cover the repair anyway (I think because I had attempted to have it fixed when it was under warranty).So yay! nowI have a very reliable laptop with a new screen and new wired connections through the hinge. A happy ending for sure.But reduced stars because I think that since the screen/hinge problem was a fault that many others apparently knew about, they could have repaired it when I originally brought it in had they looked at the hinge. I would not have needed to undergo the hassles associated with needing to use the other computer for months.The repair was fine - the time it took... not so much. If I could have, I would have rated it 3.5 stars.

I order a computer from them the product was not what I expected. To me it was defective, I returned it the next day via UPS at my expense since their company doesnt pay for returns. What has me upset is that on top of me paying for shipping they decided to keep a portion of my payment without letting me know. I will never purchase from them again, I have begin a dispute with my credit card and I will get my full refund. I dont recommend them at all. Bad customer service and if you notice they try to bury their bad reviews by uploading a lot of good ones that look fake.
