Last week my wife and I purchased a patio sitting and dinning set. We had an overall wonderful experience at the Annapolis store. I think what made our experience so exceptional, was our salesman Frank Russo. Frank was incredibly knowledgeable about products in the store. Frank was a “non-salesman,” he kept offering to leave my wife and I so we could look by ourselves. My wife kept telling him to stay close so he could answer questions. When we had tentatively decided on what we wanted Frank said he did want to be a “pushy salesman.” Frank said it was perfectly fine if we wanted to leave for a bite to eat and come back after we had time to discuss the purchase. We did not leave, we were very comfortable in our decisions made with Frank’s assistance.

Thanks to Offenbachers service dept for promptly sending an especially pleasant and highly informed hot tub repair technician, Dave. Our hot tub is now working and I learned a lot.

We bought our Caldera Spa from Rosanne at Home Escapes (now Offenbachers) five years ago. We still soak every week. Our kids, now 16 and 13, both play sports and they love to soak as well. Best advice, which i didn’t believe at first, is that the spa becomes another living space. My best conversations with my 16 year old son are when we are sitting in the tub. No phones, just talking. Both the sales experience, and the service have been phenomenal as they are very responsive. That said, in the five years I have owned this spa i have not once had to go into the service cabinet. I run the Frog system, change water 2-3 times per year and just take care of the water, and no other maintenance. I have proudly referred several of my friends who have also bought and raved about their experience with Rosanne, Dave, and the entire Offenbachers/Home Escapes crew. If you are thinking about a spa, you owe it to yourselves to talk with Rosanne and team. You will be happy you did!

We replaced our 27 year old tub with a Caldera brand tub. We had space restrictions so we got a smaller tub...the Celio. What a GREAT tub this is! The jets are phenomenal and the tub is so quiet, unlike that 27 year old loud dinosaur we replaced! Jackie was our sales rep and she provided awesome, no pressure, laid back customer service. The delivery guys (W.H.A.T.) were awesome too. 4 guys and they worked together like a well oiled machine. The tub was wrapped up so well when it arrived there was no chance for any damage to the tub at all. Even the service tech, Dave, was a great guy! He came to install the cover lifter and the clips for us, along with the Ozone piece and to make sure the tub was operating correctly. We would definitely deal with Offenbacher’s Home Escapes again and recommend you go see them too!

We had an outstanding experience in our two visits to the Annapolis Offenbachers on May 5th and 6th. Jay LaMachaux was so very helpful. He was able to match a fire table and chairs with a table and chairs that we brought several years ago. My husband and I were not sure if the set would fit in the space and after sending Jay the measurements and pictures he created a layout that allowed us to see the set in the space. cant wait for the set to arrive. My family purchased a hot tub at the start of the pandemic, and while it took longer than originally planned (because of the shut down) Offenbachers was very upfront with me on length of time, and kept me updated throughout. When we finally got it - from delivery (delivery guys were amazing!), to set up, it was worth the wait. The customer service over the phone and when I visited the store was second to none. The sales people were extremely knowledgeable, took their time answering all my questions in detail, providing pamphlets of the hot tubs I was inquiring about and were very friendly. The cost of what I would like to purchase and the amount of money I have in my budget to spend are keeping us apart from a sale at this time. If I am unable to afford a spa and patio furniture I would be devastated because the items are tremendous products. I understand a customer has a budget and a business needs to make a profit. In the end I hope all things work out, but the shopping experience has been outstanding if I am unable to purchase a hot tub.

We needed to figure out fabric selections for our project so we were going through the countless samples for the manufacturer we selected. Ive been a Home Escapes customer for 20+ years; purchased a hot tub and patio furniture for three different home. Most recently, I got a gorgeous table and two chairs that fit my small patio perfectly. The sales staff is knowledgeable, no pressure, and creative. They start by asking, What look or style are you hoping to achieve? and take it from there. Their prices are comparable with local stores. Its the quality of their products that is stellar. This is not Target furniture or a Costco spa. Ive had no reason to work with their Service Department, but Id bet theyre good, too.

We wanted to buy local to furnish our new patio, and remembered Offenbachers from the last time we bought garden furniture a decade ago! Jackie did not disappoint! We werent quite sure what we wanted when we walked in the store. Jackie took a lot of time to brainstorm with us and came up with several options for the minimalist outdoor table and seating look that we had in mind for our newly redone patio. She even escorted us to the storage area next door to show us a few things that werent on the display floor. As the saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men…” Please stay with me here - this is maybe one of the longest reviews you’ll ever read; my husband says I talk too much - but this story has a happy ending!In June we saw a patio furniture set we really liked in a generic outdoor furniture store - but being the “frugal” types we are, thought to see if our preferred outdoor furniture store carried the line. They did, but were a little more costly. When we mentioned we were going to return to the original store, our sales lady mentioned that store had literally *just* gone out of business and closed its doors! Trust, but verify - and she was right - so we returned and placed our order. Not being in any rush, the delivery date of early September was fine with us.My husband is “that guy,” he doesn’t let grass grow beneath his feet - so we reserved a truck for the second week in September to pickup and drive our new furniture to our Florida home. Cancelled that truck and made a reservation for the following weekend. Cancelled and made a THIRD reservation as it was now the END of September and seemed crazy that our furniture was still not ready! Mr. “guy” was totally ready to cancel our order, but Jackie did a YEOMAN’S job “working the deal” with the Tropitone manufacturer to get our furniture delivered. GO FIGURE - COVID was the reason given that the fluffy fill for our cushions was insufficient and all our pieces weren’t ready. Turns out the actual Tropitone factory was in the SAME town as our Florida home - and Jackie was able to get us special permission to pick up whatever furniture/cushions we could get on our end of September trip! YEAH! Well - yeah until we arrived at the Factory and found the furniture had been SHIPPED TO the store in VIRGINIA! Are you kidding?! (And if Mr. “guy” HAD been ready to cancel - you can imagine what he said then)At this point, the Tropitone Sales Manager stepped in as well - no doubt thanks to Jackie contacting him and explaining all that had been going on - and they arranged for our furniture to be return-shipped *back* to Florida. Of *course* it was due to arrive after we left - but we have amazing neighbors who agreed to facilitate and take delivery. I had a call (just as we were boarding the plane) to call back and arrange the actual delivery - but when I called back, NO ANSWER! I tried the 2 numbers I had 6 (SIX) times - and finally a LOVELY lady from SOUTH CAROLINA answered! She relayed that she had *literally* just received an email that the Florida location had lost all power - no phones, no computers! She gave me 2 email addresses, and I sent emails asking them to reach back out to me once they had our delivery scheduled for either of the 2 days our neighbor would be available. Yes, they did! “Lori” - of Old Dominion Freight facilitated and the delivery was set for this afternoon!!! I communicated with our neighbor and all was well ~True to form - of course that didn’t go quite as planned - and the delivery truck driver called that he was 30 minutes away and would be there THIS MORNING (vs this afternoon). Our neighbor was home - and we now have our lovely Tropitone patio furniture set! I’ll have to be patient and wait ’til our next visit to try it out - but WHAT A TEAM EFFORT this has been!Many kudos and thanks to Jackie (of Offenbachers Home Escapes), Scott (of Tropitone), and “Lori” of Old Dominion Freight, our neighbor, Kris - and to the delivery truck driver and many others whose names I don’t have!

A while back my wife convinced me we needed a hot tub, so we began our search. After checking out other dealers, we wound up at Offenbachers in Herdon. It took about 5 minutes for us to realize we were in the right place. The people there could not have been nicer and we trusted what they were telling us regarding the different lines of tubs and the advantages of each. We came for a hot tub and left with a hot tub and patio furniture...and we love them both.Over time we have had to call them 2 different times regarding issues with the hot tub and on both occasions they started by saying other than structural damage, everything was covered under warranty. It turns out on both occasions they were able to walk me through resolving the issues on the phone...oops, bubblers closed. Thanks Rosanne!Anyway, were happy we bought hot tub and were glad we got it there.

Got our Caldera Niagara spa installed in December 2016 and absolutely love it. We use it almost every night and its very easy to take care of regarding chemicals, cleaning and the awesome App (allows us to keep tabs on temp. and other functions from our iPhones). Rosanne was so easy to deal with and kept us updated with order, delivery and any questions we threw at her. We even got a tutorial on site (with Alex) which really eased our minds regarding proper function of the spa. Nothing better than a walk through after you have had a chance to operate it and use it. Buying a swim spa is a big decision and it is very important to put a priority on the place/people from whom you purchase this. While you may be lured by big discounts you see over the internet, consider SERIOUSLY where the support will come from when you need it. And you will!I chose to work with Home Escapes and this proved to be an excellent decision.I may not be their typical customer in that I asked to do a TRUE test swim. Not 5 or even 15 minutes but a full 45 minute test swim. This was information I needed to know. Would this compare to what Im used to in a lap pool? Not only did Rosanne allow that, she ENCOURAGED it. It was as important to them as it was to me that I truly had confidence in my purchase. You dont get that just anywhere.Once I decided to purchase, their partnership and support continued to astound me. Throughout all of the delays in my renovation project preparing our home for this indoor installation, they housed my pool and were so incredibly accommodating and understanding. When called upon to provide technical specs or to participate in meetings where construction decisions were needed, they were reliable and forthcoming. You could completely count on them at every step of the way.Now that Ive had the pool and have been using it for over a month at the time of this review, they continue to partner with me on making sure Im getting everything out of it that I needed/expected.They were, without a doubt, the best part of this whole process and I look forward to working closely with them to keep my pool in top running condition for many years to come.

We have been very happy with Offenbachers for the most part. The sales force is very knowledgeable and pleasant. Rod is wonderful. I do have a major problem. My wife and I have been in sales for many years in the publishing industry. When a Bookstore gets an order for a book that is not in stock, the Bookstore orders it immediately, not wait until they get enough orders to earn maximan discount. We ordered a small item that was not in stock and the buyer did not ordered it until they reached a sufficient dollar volume. I have cancelled the order and am getting it in 2 days from an on-line distributor, as much as I hate todo it.

This place has a great showroom, excellent selection of high quality items. Very pleased with our purchase. Excellent customer service.

Roseanne at Home Escapes hooked me up with a Caldera spa and its been a super-positive experience ever since.I made quite a trek to Herndon (from outside Baltimore) but it was worth it. Caldera makes great products and Roseanne knows them inside and out.I had to call her a few times to ask questions, and she never made me feel stupid for doing so.I even continue to buy my hot tub chemicals from Home Escapes--thats how accommodating they are.

Everything went smoothly from sale to delivery. We got what we custom ordered, in the anticipated timeframe, amf in the delivery timeframe.
