Very small and crowded. Its well sticker but you have to look around to find what you want. Reasonable prices.
This is our shop for all our groceries and vegetables and prices are reasonable. The Ammas kitchen was part of this store and we used to eat frequently there but now the name is changed to Aditi Kitchen but started serving non veg too which we dont like and little bit upset too since we are pure vegetarians and will never go this new kitchen again.
Best indian grocery store near reston
To me if youre selling expired products in the market intentionally or not, then you have no right to run a business. You may have all the exotic and rare items that you might find fascinating to find in a foreign land, but what good is it if it passed its good date? I could name a lot but Dosa batter and their soup sachets stand out from memory. Also the aisles are narrow, but they have a variety of Items you might not find in other Indian stores.
Small place with some decent Indian groceries. Could be more spacious. Some good veggies but once I found shallots with fungus at the store
It is a good indian grocery store, you will get almost everything edible which you need to make indian food. They have a small section for vegetables too.One suggestion is to buy things after checking the expiry date, as I have seen expired things being sold there. They almost doubled their prices when the covid started, bought few flours and saw double price stickers on top of it.The food quality have degraded for Ammas kitchen too, and prices have increased, it used to be our regular eating place after shopping in Aditis earlier.
Awesome 👍😎
Store manager was rude to me for no reason, typical indian store.
Coming here is such a great experience. They also make amazing Samosas. The gentlemans at the front desk are helpful and informative. Prices are great, theyre a tight store but you can find everything that you need here. My mom loves it too. We come all the way from Sterling to shop here. If you anybody who works there or the owner that reads this please keep it up because you guys are doing an awesome job. Hopefully one day your guys store can become much bigger in the near future 🙂.
Very good store in the heart of Herndon. Nice and polite people.
The local go to spot for all stuff Indian.
Great curb side pickup options and the associate go out of the way to shop for you
Visit for anything from Kerala.
I love this store! I have been to their store that is located in Vienna as well. But, this one is far better organized and well stocked. I can find all the Indian household groceries for my pantry. Good selection of produce(vegetables) as well. It has the Ammas restaurant attached to the store, that serves wholesome south Indian food.
Nice cozy indian grocery store having all basic items
A very good Indian grocery place. Very clean and gives you gloves as you enter during the covid19.
Almost zero after sale service. Bought a ready to use batter mix the other day picked up via curbside delivery outside their store, i.e. they picked this one out of their stock - turned out to be covered in fungus when opened a couple days later. Informed the store, sent pics of the rancid batter. They refused to acknowledge the issue, said they wanted to see this for themselves, and was curtly told to bring the batter back - in the middle of Covid-19 stay at home! So, I would have to get in my vehicle and make the multi-mile trek back to the store just to bring back one package of batter. These bozos lack commonsense, and they are rude and boorish.Never going back there again!
Small, congested and limited items. No floor help. Poor customer service. Not recommended.
Good spice
Aditi spice depot is a small Indian grocery shop where you can get all sorts of pulses, rice, vegetables, spices and other items. The staff are very nice and cooperative. You would not miss any item. I would prefer to go here because I get all my required stuff very fast and no waiting in the payment line. The quality of goods is very good. I recommend it.
Nice clean place. Selection is good for some of the stuff. They should add more organic products
Awesome 👌
Best veggie Briyani, super delicious and value of money... Authentic Indian Briyani with all spices and good selection of vegetables. .Great keep it up.
Aditi is a great grocery store. We find everything that we need for Indian cooking and lifestyle here. The veggies are usually fresh and all aisles are well stocked. Storekeepers are knowledgeable and very helpful. One time we needed one item for Pooja and we could not locate ourselves so we asked storekeeper and he was able to get it for us. The store also give $5 discount for $100 purchase so that also helps.
It is a malayali store, which is one of a kind in the area. That being said its products and produce cater to all of the desi population. The products are fresh and well-stocked. The little restaurant inside it serves the most delicious south Indian vegetarian food.
For pooja always get banana leaves from here.so fresh and did not wither. Curry leaves too stayed fresh and green for more than 3 weeks. Nice selection of veggies and snacks.
This is my go to indian store... and the veg restaurant in here is convenient. Foods decent and service is fast. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so for years.
Very good store selling Indian products at reasonable and affordable prices, complemented by friendly service .
Would have given 4 stars if it was more spacious.
Very difficult to shop here. Trolleys bang in each other at every step. No space between lanes. Though collection is good. You are most likely to find whatever you are looking to buy in indian grocery. Conveniently located with lot of parking
Grocery store and a small restaurant inside the grocery store. Their masala tea is amazing, the lunch thali is reasonable and delicious . The place is not easily visible from the mail road. The restaurant can get crowded during the weekday lunch and evening hours. Be sure to check out the grocery store too, some of the items in the store are couple of cents cheaper than Lotte and other Asian grocery stores .
Prices are high compared to other stores. We can get better products for better price from Lotte, Fresh World, etc
I used to go there for frozen shredded/grated coconut (daily delight). Several times I got stale items. It never happened with other stores in the area. I guess it is due to aditi spice depots careless handling of frozen items. Few times I noticed frozen food in cardboard boxes lying around waiting to be loaded in freezer
We have been going there since they opened. Store is always clean, staff are very helpful. You will find fresh vegetables are all types of indian groceries.
It got all you need. Also the Ammas kitchen next door is worth visiting.
The quality of food came down in their restaurant area ..Good selection of groceries and vegetables
Decided to drop in here for some chicken bullion or condensed chicken stock.Well, they dont have it, which is super weird since the place is called Aditi Spice Depot. May as well be called We only have sketchy soup mixes and wilted vegetables DepotThe place had that smell that it had not been cleaned in ages. Product was piled against the aisles and walls, the lighting was dim. Service was unhelpful when asked about the chicken bullion and told me they did not have it, then walked away.Maybe a good place for buying some very limited variety of Spices, but other stores in the area are likely better choices.
This is a good Indian store in the Reston/Herndon area. Has a good selection of Indian spices and fresh vegetables. Its a little small and difficult to walk around with a food cart but you would find most Indian spices/snacks veggies here !
One of the best Indian stores around Nova. Good prices and great range of products.
I always go to this place for my grocery needs. It’s a little tiny but has most of the stuff I need. Plus if you’re hungry it’s right next to Amma Kitchen which is vegetarian place and has good South Indian options.
I absolutely love this store and restaurant, and I go frequently! Their chaat is so tasty and addictive. Try their chai too! The cheapest and best quality quick vegetarian Indian food around this area.
Good Indian store. You will get lot of variety here.
This is the best place in Reston for Grocery and delicious Indian meal. Small but beautiful, very homely and I love this place.
Had Puri aloo bhaji which was sort of okay. It could have been bit spicy. Food is inexpensive and wont hurt your budget for an evening snack. They took a lot of time to serve though. I wasnt in a rush so didnt mind it.
Good place to get Indian groceries and sometimes at a better price than Patel Brothers, Offers vegetarian food with Ammas kitchen attached to this Aditi Spice depot.
The best authentic Indian food you can get.. home away from home!Food is as tasty as it can get!
Great option for Indian (East Indian Desi) groceries. Also has a nice restaurant Ammas kitchen inside the store.
Had Pav bhaji which was well cooked and tasted great. While shopping the lanes are too close though!
Best place to buy all Indian stuff in reston/herndon
Groceries and veggies are very fresh here.. Staffs are very friendly.. They has decent collections of pooja itens
Simple and great south Indian food. Not much of an ambience but good for families and kids.
Its a nice place for Indian spices and all other indian grocery items. The staff are friendly and have a wide variety of items. The store is well stocked. The complex has enough parking space as well.
Nice to have Indian grocery store and tiffin center at one place. I visited to buy some groceries for Ugadi, but I was hungry, ended eating food in adjacent Indian restaurant :). So its a typical medium size Indian grocery store.
Had an authentic South Indian meal. The place could do with a face-lift. I will still go there again.
Decent place for indian groceries. Amma kitchen is inside the grocery. So shop and dine.
This Indian store has all the variety of grocery and Pooja items. There are specific rice brands and other Pooja items, which arent available anywhere else. You can find anything you need including fresh vegetables in this stop.Very friendly staff and help you find the items you need. Very low price. I was looking for a specific item, it was available here and it was cheaper than the other stores. It has Amma restaurant in the same building, which nice. You can shop and eat in the same place.
Best Indian store ..small shop but having all kind of items you need..
Good place for Indian groceries. Can get Jasmine garlands from here in specific days.
Questionable quality, jacked up prices and rude service. Least desirable desi store in this area.
Indian store which has pretty much everything that an Indian needs to eat/cook. Competitive pricing, wont call it cheap.
Quick go to store for indian groceries...u can pretty much find anything here related to indian and south indian food... they also has one small food chain restaurant called ammas kitchen for quick food and lots of south Indian cuisine
Best place for shopping all south indian grocery.
Packed with Indian grocery items. While you are their enjoy Indian food in the adjacent Indian fast food restaurant.
Nice little grocery and a good vegetarian restaurant on the side. Nothing fancy but great food!
Ok, this place is small so what? You get everything you need and stuff is fresh, prices are very reasonable.I ocassionally shop here when I visit VA, the prices are more reasonable than patel brothers. Stuff is way fresher than that I get from Maryland. And there is this Ammas kitchen. I can write a book about it. The food is amazing!! Puri Chole is a must try.
Good variety of snacks.. Would be great if there is more space, it is little conjusted.
Great place to shop indian groceries and enjoy some delicious south Indian food! Friendly and helpful cashiers!
Great store, but need to make more attractive.
Excellent variety of Indian food and spice. Very good service.
Nice indian store with Ammas Restaurant attached.
Lot of fresh veggies. Good price range too.
The small Indian grocery stores with variety of food, frozen ready to eat, spices and much more.
Friendly staffs and reasonable price...many choices
Good and fresh Indian grocery store. The food in restaurant is good too
Old spice store which carries most of Indian cuisine essentials.
Went to buy some ingredients for a daal recipe a friend gave me. Small but great prices, friendly staff helped me find a couple things. There is a vegetarian Cafe inside. Saag paneer was as fresh and tasty as Ive ever had it
They also have a Indian veg restaurant. It is a good place. You get all Indian grocery and other stuffs here.
Competitive pricing. Plus Amma restaurant next door with lots on the menu!
Things could be more organize ....price is very reasonable....no😁 smile people 🙄wont charge you for it....please smile 😁😁😁😁
Specifically store for the the Indian community. Great sectlation of International foods.
Nice indian grocery store
Good place to buy Indian Groceries.Indian Snacks sold in this shop are good too.
Most of the perishable food items such as breads and vegetables are without any pricing displayed. I complained about this to the person in the counter. Hope they fix this issue
U will get all indian stuff there. Indian pooja(worshipping) related things you will get there. Little costly but i found everything which i was looking for.
Good choices of Indian groceries. Convenient to people located in the Reston/Herndon area. There is an Indian restaurant called Ammas inside.
Good place for indian grocery. They have some ayurveda medicines. Lot of snacks. Not very spacious, but compact and all the items are available. Staff is very friendly and kind. They had Amma vegetarian restaurant and it is closed now. I love that and they served pure vegetarian. Now Aditi is serving non veg too. As a vegetarian Im sad to see Amma getting closed. I may not get food in Aditi kitchen any more, but will continue to buy groceries
Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Great selection and good prices.
Good Indian store and you will get most of the Indian groceries.
Very disappointed by quality of food, I ordered Puri & potato bhaji. The Puri was filled with oil pouring from all directions and potatos were not fully cooked, were hard couldn’t even cut it with spoon.Stay away from this place.
Congested but has most of the indian stuff n the best part was the attached restaurant, cheap n good.
Very well stocked Indian store. They usually have everything you need.
Has everything you would need but they didnt have a good selection of spices for Chicken Curry particularly Everest. But overall a good store a bit pricey to be honest and geared more towards the south indian pallet then north indian based on the selection of brands sold.
I always find whatever Im looking for. They have almost everything an average Indian would need.
Used to be good, Changed a lot and how they handling customers.
Curry leaf and Madina market has more variety of stuff.
Nice place to spice up for indians and not to forget their luncheon dinner -food is good !
You are able to get most of the Indian groceries. But it is congested
Convenient, great variety of Indian groceries. Could be better organized.
I love Aditis ready-made roti packets. One night, I reached the store just as they closed. I needed rotis urgently for guests. They reopened their store and booted up their sales register just to help me. Awesome service.
