Love this place. Helpful employees always next the checkout registers. Self checkout is a clear winner in my eyes. Hate standing in line when I can breeze through. No issues with returns ever. Online site/app light years ahead of Lowes.Also, love the curbside pickup and the pickup lockers as well. Their garden center, plants in particular, leaves a lot to be desired. Lowes of Hermitage definitely has them there.

Had a fantastic experience over the weekend. The husband and I were having a hard time finding magnets and a hot glue gun for a project and not just 1 associate but a group of associates asked if we needed anything. One of them guided us to the shelves and products we needed. This was so much nicer than being told Isle 12 and not be assisted to find anything.

Typical Home Depot experience. Could not get questions answered at paint counter. Looked for other employees to ask questions and had to break up small group of employees that were standing around chatting. We encountered 2 very pleasant and hard working employees. One in lumber, who cut down some wood for us and a terrific cashier.

Always has what I want or they can get it in a reasonable time. Buy all my tools there

Went in for a few items they had 1 of them, staff is very helpfull 2 different people ask if we needed assistance, which was great, we just spent 1 hr at lowes before that and most workers at lowes run from ya,you have to go looking for them, paging for help left no results, hats off to the workers at home depot for being very helpful

Usually have what I need but most employees dont seem to care about customers or have much knowledge. Youre best if you know what you need before you get there and check the app to see what aisle its in.

Ordered a Delta faucet aerator and exactly what I needed. Picked up other items such as Behr paint samples, items for black top resurfacing and gardening, and kitchen cabinet handles. One stop for all my needs.

Bought some Ryobi power tools and a blackout curtain. So far I am VERY satisfied with my purchases. Additionally, the staff were VERY helpful and friendly. The establishment was also very clean, orderly, and the overhead signage was very clear and helpful locating products.

HOME HAS MORE FRIENDLY WORKING PEOPLE THEN LOWES. THEY ASK IF YOU NEED HELP?YOU HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE TO ASK AND SOMETIMES THEY DONT KNOW,THEY HAVE TO LOOK IT UP.

The store itself is not the issue, corporate is! went to the hermitage store to set up a floor installation measurement appointment and got a pre measurement quote for $920.43. store was having a sale on installation for $2.50 all included per square foot. Appointment finished received new quote for $2178.76 that over $15 per square foot!! Im on a strict monthly budget. So now Im stuck with a broken kitchen floor. until I can figure out how to remove old floor and install new floor myself.

Prices are higher than competitors, but the employees are very nice and helpful.

My recent visit was very upsetting. I needed help in the plumbing department but no one was available. I ask for help at the front desk they told me the person in that department was at lunch and would not be back for an hour and no one else was available to help me.

The home depot in Hermitage is a nice store. It has a good layout, but there are a few downsides. You can never seem to find an associate when you have a question, and the parking lot is a pain to get to if youre coming from the North. The only entrances are along 62 or from Northbound 18. It would be great if they could find a way to give access from southbound 18.

Check your orders before you leave!!! I bought flooring online, picked it up at the store,, and got the boxes home. Get home and unload to see the one box was really banged up. It was damaged from a forklift and this stores advice was for me to buy another box online!!!!

Friendly staff. About two years ago we went there to shop for a part that can split hot and cold water. A staff patiently went through the options and suggested a few parts that in combination would get the job done. We regretted the idea when we bought the parts and realized how big a project that would be. We returned all the parts with no questions asked. We went there multiple times since and always got what we needed.

I dont mind shopping at Home Depot occasionally but prefer Lowes. There I get a military discount and they actually have people at the registers and dont make me check myself out. If theyre saving money by not having cashiers why are their prices not any lower then the competition? Just some food for thought... lol

The store was clean and the employees were friendly and engaging. The only bad think I had to say was their signage was all good for entrances and exits. However they were probably mandated to do that for COVID and it was right at the green phase when we visited.

Was followed pretty much the whole time we shopped. Not a good experience at all. We will be going to Lowes from now on.

Went for flowers and had a sale on washer and dryers this month got a great deal for both but the warranty was kinda $$ but got it cause they just dont make things like they used too !

You would have to be out of your mind to rent a Penske truck from these people. We picked up a truck on a Sunday afternoon. The Home Depot staff had no idea what to do and were on hold with Penske for more than 20 minutes. The next morning, after the Home Depot staff was on the phone with Penske for at least another 20 minutes, we picked up a car trailer for that truck. The Home Depot staff refused to give us any assistance with hooking it up to the truck and getting the car onto it although the Penske brochure says its agents will help customers hook up the trailer. When, at our insistence, they brought us the brochure on how to hook up the trailer, they acted like they had never seen the brochure before and never been asked for one before. Overnight, our reservation had mysteriously disappeared, so when we called Penske to complain about Home Depot, Penske said it had no record of us (even though, at that point, we had both the truck and the trailer). Penske wanted to give us about one-third off our bill because of our horrible experience with both their company and with Home Depot, but Home Depot refused to cooperate and we ended up having to pay the entire bill anyway since the charge was made by Home Depot and not by Penske. I cannot emphasize how terrible and absurd the entire experience was from start to finish.

Went there to buy a new washer. The guy in Appliances decided to argue with my wife over what machine is better than the other. Basically trying to upsell everything. I had to just walk away. If I spent anymore time there, I would have likely knocked the guy out. Guy needs fired.

Summer seasonal merchandise gone. Getting ready for holidays stuff

I went to get a key made which shouldnt take long. I waited for about 20 min before someone came to help. Then I go to grab a paint roller and 3 people ask if I need help. They need to spread their associates out better or something.

Wondered forever looking for help, when I found it he had to wonder for someone who could help me. The cashier was rude (and had no people skillz) and the prices at other home improvement stores are definitely cheaper for the same things. On a positive note... it was pretty clean.

Why is it there are alot of employees on cell phones texting. You cant help the customer. I went in there today against my better judgement and sure enough here we go again. Leave those phones in your cars I can shop elsewhere my time is just as valuable. Add insult you see me waiting for you than you ask the man behind me if he needs help. SMH. I was on the patio and go inside I found something and true enough more people on cell phones. This is nuts. Im leaving on my way to Lowes since you cant help me

I had an excellent experience! I went looking for a faucet aerator and didnt find it in stock. I asked an associate named Tom and he was kind enough to look it up in the inventory. Unfortunately the only way Home Depot carries the product at 2.2 gal. Included a chrome male connector to the tune of $9. I was surprised at the price and the fact I couldnt buy the drop in aerator for my female Delta faucet head. The guy was pretty decent when I told him I was going to go home and figure out plan B! He was very professional and kind (by the way plan B was going home and preforming surgery on a similar but much cheaper part 😉).

Great selection, helpful staff. Now that Im a homeowner, this will be a go-to place for me.

Great local home improvement store chain close to home. We recently purchased an LG range that I just love! Has 5 burners from a center grill, to an extra large burner with super burner setting option and three other burners vary in size. We also got an awesome Whirlpool washer with water saving sensing. Ive always loved Mayag brand and this new model surpasses all the others. So many features, all the bells and whistles!
