My husband ordered a washer and dryer. We had to wait a month to get it delivered. The delivery crew went to the wrong house, said we werent home and moved on with their day. Once we got that sorted out they showed up and started to install the dryer and broke it. So we got the washer and no dryer and still havent heard from anyone about a replacement dryer. Who knows how long that will be. I will NEVER order appliances here again. Absolute dog s#!+
Arrived in the morning, asked for some help with a large order of lumber. After waiting about 10 mins someone arrived and asked me what I wanted. I explained I needed 15 2x12x12 boards, 16 4x4x10 posts, 2x6s, etc.. He asked you couldnt get a cart? I replied I thought it was a lot for a cart, he said it was not, rolled his eyes and continued to be rude. He helped to load a few boards then another person arrived (Tyler) who began helping. Employee number 1 left, did not see him again. After loading everything the cart would barely move with two of us pushing. Tyler left to see if he could get more 4x4s as I was one short. I sat a bucket of stain on the cart, at which point it tipped spilling all of the lumber onto the floor. Another shopper and a couple of different employees helped to put the lumber onto two carts this time. None of the employees who helped to load stuck around a second after the aisle was clear again. Eventually I was able to check out. The lady at the register asked if I would need help, I replied that I would please. She called someone, they never came. I rolled the carts outside, unloaded both carts by myself and secured the load. During the loading process I observed a lift truck deliver a small pallet of something looking like shop lights to a truck. These could probably have been delivered in a shopping cart. Earlier I observed two sheets of plywood delivered to the front and someone help load them into a pickup. No help for me and the >$700.00 worth of lumber I purchased that day nor for the $400 I had purchased the week before. Was also great having to work my way around all the personal vehicles parked in the contractor loading area. None of them had a fleet plate or logo. Saw a guy with a shopping cart leave with some short pieces of wood and 4-5 T-posts. Glad was able to use the contractor loading so he did not have to push the heavy (shopping) cart any farther than necessary. Pretty clear that individuals do not rate.
Generally everyone is helpful. Cant stand self checkout and long lines.
This is a fairly decent store although it can be hard to find staff to help you do things. My favorite spot is the garden department. The girls that work and check out try their hardest to answer peoples questions and often will Google something for you as you stand there and wait for an answer. Their trees are 50% off now. They are a bit picked over and a little haggard from the hot weather. But if youre saving 50% and water them good when you bring them home and plant them, they will do just fine.
Had many things to buy. First guy in back was very helpful. The rest lacked any kind of personality or customer service. But we got everything we needed.
Our second home since we work in Construction. Were on a first name basis with most employees. Love our local Home Depot
There are times I wish this store was connected to our old trailer so we wouldnt have to go to Hermiston so often. For the most part they have what we need but there are times we have to go to Ace Hardware to get some little things still needed. There is great friendly helpful informative service. However, I do not care for the quilty of their wood products at this time.
Great store selection is limited so order ahead if you plan on getting appliances.

Asked 3 clerks about cupboard shelf brackets. The first one who was visiting with two people said oh some are back there and some are maybe on isle 9. Wrong kind of brackets. Asked another no idea and walked off. The third one after talking to other employees as service desk, then helped someone after us. Then was talking to another employee, then said oh do you want something. Oh we dont sell anything like that. I put my purchases back and left the store..
This home depot has gotten better thru the years for service, but I still like the smaller stores for customer service.Home depot does usually have all the stock I need but I just dont like the big crowds of people shopping at the same time. Just my opinion...
Call Dan from LaGrande Oregon, to get a price quote on almost $1000 worth of product on top of delivery to Legrand Oregon and was turned away and told to do my quotes online. As a 60-year-old man I am computer illiterate that is the whole reason why they get paid at Home Depot they run around the whole warehouse hunting down price quotes and products for delivery. It seems to be that all Home Depot does is pass the buck on to somebody else or they sit back and worry about if and when theThey were going to get their lunchtime. That’s after I was told it may take some time to pull the order together but was pushed towards the online part of it. Isn’t that why they get paid hourly wages to do work instead of sitting behind a desk pushing the book under somebody else????I’m very disappointed in Hermiston Home Depot I guess I’d rather do my shopping here locally
They took care of my return but lacked the simplest manners! Even a Hello would have been nice.
They have most of what a guy needs from time to time. I know my way around the store pretty well, but when I do need some help about something specific. Its a bit hard to find someone who knows enough to help around there.

Hard to find anyone that knows anything about anything they sale. Not just this store but every home depot I have been in. And never expect any of the younger workers to help load anything heavy. They will find anyone over the age of 70 to help. That also is at every home depot. I get great merchandise. And horrible service. Rarely shop there. But wanted a toro mower. They were the cheapest. Just under 3,000.
Cant think of anything wrong about the place. its perfectly open, theres lots of space, loads of everything. would recommended going here if you needed anything
I like to shop at home Depot, especially during the spring and early summer, always have new plants that come in so you never know what you will find that will help you have a beautiful flower bed.

Went to Home Depot to buy a few things for my house. Spent several dollars on these items. And when I went to go check out, I used the self check out and I tried paying with my debit card. Well my debit card for some reason got declined. So I ended up paying with cash. Once I got into my car I checked my bank account because I knew I had enough money in my checking account to pay for what I was getting. I noticed that even though my debit card was declined (I had plenty of money in my account) it still took the money out of my account. So I paid double for my items. I went back inside to the customer service desk and the girl at the desk said sorry. There is nothing we can do about it. So basically Home Depot stole money from me and could not care less on fixing that mistake on THEIR PART. I will not be returning to Home Depot. Their customer service has always sucked. They do not value their customers one bit.

Ultimately I got it fixed, but I have not experienced such a bad customer service in the last 10 years at the Hermiston store. They need some serious training.

Dont call this place to see if they have the item you seen on line just to make sure they have it before you make the drive!! It said they had 2 in stock but I have learned not to trust what it says on line because I have drove there just to find out they didnt have it! So after waiting on the phone for 33 min to see if they had it, finally they came to say yes I think we have one......oh my gosh people.....really!!!I normally wouldnt wait on the phone that long but I was very curious to see what they would come back and say.I figured they took their lunch break!!!Come on people, where is your customer service!!!

I ordered a small propane heater on line in early November. It didnt operate properly when I received it, so I returned it to the local store on November 13. The return clerk asked if I would like to order a replacement and after indicating I would, the clerk placed the order and gave me a receipt indicating it would be delivered to the store and available for pickup on November 27 and I would get a call to remind me it was there. (So far, good experience)Since I hadnt received the call, I phoned the store today November 29 and was told it wasnt there yet. When I asked when it was expected, was placed on hold for a minuteAnd then told they werent sure. I was then told it was backordered. I then asked why I hadnt been called and informed of that. My answer, I dont know. After asking again for an approximate date, and being placed on hold for a couple of minutes, a different person came on the line to tell me Home Depot would not be getting any more of the heaters.Final analysis, a disappointing experience that has me reluctant to buy anything that has to be ordered or has the possibility of malfunctioning that might need to be returned

So I went to return and get stor credit but the say we cant return because they ben cut Im like they are not even opened yet nothing is cut . They are in the boxes and everything inside in plastic and not opened. I told them you know what keep them. They wont make it right 4 me I know . They dont care . Thats cool I dont like to go to home depot no more. From 1 to 10 I like to give 0

A very wide variety of things you could need in home repair which is great if you know exactly what youre doing. Needless to say it is sometimes near impossible to get help with a question or anything else. I generally go there for large purchases only. Occasionally if I know where the part is I might pick up a couple small items

I should have just driven an hour to the Walla Walla Home Depot. We needed to order a washer, dryer, and vanity. We asked the SUPERVISOR for help and she called someone. Waited maybe 15 minutes and saw her scoping out if we’ve been helped yet. I walked around to see if I could get help from someone in this group of employees. We all made eye contact and they all ran in different directions. My boyfriend had to go to a different department to get another call for help. We waited another 20 minutes. THANK GOODNESS sweet Ashley was able to help us quickly. Overall bad experience but so thankful for Ashley...

Clerk screwed up purchase by first scanning 2 of an item when they were different and $10 difference in price. She then removed wrong items from purchase. Told me I had to go to customer service and wait another 10 minutes to have purchase corrected after paying. A lot of extra time wasted and frustration. Clerk who fixed purchase was fine and pleasant.
