Beautiful, quaint shop with a ton of merchandise on two floors. Very reasonably priced and they even have a little cafe! Worth a visit.

The food is always homemade and great! They have a gift shop that has so many beautiful things to chose from.

I have a wonderful time there, the desserts are to die for, going back home tomorrow to California and well tell everyone when they come to South Carolina go to a day in the country

Charming gift shop and cafe. I had the beet bleu salad with raspberry honey poppyseed dressing - delicious. Hubby enjoyed broccoli quiche and tomato basil soup. We’ll return when in the area again. 👍🏼👍🏼😁😁

This place should be called the broccoli crasin factory. The food is made with cheap ingredients and is the kind of stuff you find at a chruch potluck. The manager Paula is one of those fake southern bless your heart women. Not my kinda place with so many other awesome places to go to in Hendersonville.

The widows of my church came here for lunch. I do half to say it was pretty good. It was a little on the expensive side. 32.00 for lunch. For 2 adult plates 2 teas and 1 childs plate. But, for lunch the portions were good. The shop where you can buy stuff is reallly cute. The only thing is if you have a elderly person that cant do steps well there is no dip in the cement for them or wheelchairs a steep incline to go up to get to the restaurant and then 4 steps to go up. And there not little steps. So just a word of warning! The waitress was alright. She did explain the menu to us that has never been before but, she only refilled our drinks once. After our food got here she didnt come back except to get the money. I refilled my tea. 🙄 food was good though but, expensive.

I did my review a year ago, and am updating it now (10/2019). I love this place and visit Asheville every year, and this place is a MUST for my time in the area. Once again, I had the turkey sandwich (minus the turkey since Im vegetarian) - they accommodate that request). My mom had a special of egg salad on a croissant, with crisp bacon on it (she is NOT a vegetarian...) She said it was amazing. And, again, I had the orange cake for dessert - soooo good. The servers are really nice and super attentive.I just love this place and will keep coming back as long as I come to the area. You cant go wrong; theres parking, place is clean, food and service are exemplary, and I love the presentation of the food - I look at others plates and everything is presented so beautifully. Its truly a great little place! Ill be back next year!(from October, 2018): This is a great little place in a super-cute frame house. I eat lunch here every time I come to Hendersonville. They have great soups and sandwiches and the best potato salad EVER. The service is always good, and the place is clean and the food is wonderful. Im a vegetarian, so I get a sandwich that normally would have turkey on it - I have them leave the turkey off and they always perfectly accommodate my special request. Today I, again, got that sandwich and had the turkey left off. It comes on the MOST amazing cranberry roll with fresh lettuce - its really a delicious sandwich. My mother had the same thing, only she left off the provolone cheese and had the turkey on hers - as always, they accommodated that special request. We sat there and tried to figure out WHY the potato salad was the absolute best - but we couldnt. Its really good and I get it all the time. There are other good-looking sides too. One good thing, you can get half a sandwich, if youre not a big eater (I am!). Service is always quick and very good. They keep the tables clean and the place is very welcoming.You order at the door as you go in. You pay there, get a number, and a server brings you your food. Be SURE to look at the desserts - they are so fresh and good and rather inexpensive compared to what I am used to. I always go for the orange cake, but the sweet lady taking the orders today suggested an apple dumpling - she said they were fresh and so good. I said ok and my mother and I were sharing it. They were nice enough to cut it in half and put it on separate plates; I appreciate that. It came with some good whipped cream AND a dollup of sour cream on the top. Sounds weird, right? but it wasnt - it was perfect. The dumpling was fantastic.The store is cute with a lot unique gift-type items.Parking is free on site and there is indoor seating (cute place!), as well as a wonderful covered veranda when the weather is nice.You will drive right past this place if you dont look for it. Coming from Hendersonville on that main road, after you cross the interstate, go slow, its a right turn. Cute house in the country!

Fun place and really good food. Our order was out very quickly, and for a group of eight. We sat outside on a covered porch and it was just lovely! Then afterwards, shopping! All kinds of fun country-ish things in their store-- cute gifts for stocking stuffers, and then some.

****Call ahead for high tea or afternoon tea service**** I saw pictures on Google of scones and tea and thought they served those things all day. They do sell some hot teas and desserts though. We stayed for lunch anyway and the food was great. The servers always gave us refills.

We stopped in after finding this spot on the Internet. We were not disappointed at all!We had a difficult time making a selection as it all sounded so good. We had the tomato basil soup which was delicious . I had the spinach strawberry pecan salad and it was so good!My friend had a ham croissant with Gouda cheese which was also amazing.The gift shop was a special treat as well.We will definitely be back when coming to the area!

Its not just a charming gift shop, but an excellent lunch place as well. In the summer, try eating outside on their covered terrace. The food is delicious and quite varied. They have many different teas and desserts, too. Popular with locals.

It was snowing, and even though they were closing the kitchen, they made sure we ate and had such a warm welcoming atmosphere. A very nice woman brought our wine and invited us to wander around and enjoy there quant store while we waited for our lunch.

THE DESIGN, THE WORK FLOW, THE USE OF LIGHT, AND PRIMARILY, FORM AND FUNCTION ARE IGNORED. THE MAJORITY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE ELDERLY AND MANY ARE INFIRM. THE TRAFFIC PATTERN IS A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR THESE CUSTOMERS. PLEASE CONSIDER A PROPER RENOVATION.
