Jeff, Bill, Megan, Matt and the rest of the staff are as friendly and helpful as you can ever find. When it comes down to it, knowing how to treat people is everything and they definitely know how. In a day when customer service is a dying breed, they provide excellent customer service. They have gone overboard to help me in every way possible. For a 67 year old man this means everything. Amazing marina! The staff is super nice and extremely helpful! They’re able to timely get the boat ready before you get there. Never had any problems so far. I’ve been to other marinas before, but nothing compares to this one. It’s clean with plenty of parking! We also love the lake!

Although Im new to Drakes Creek, Ive been so impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. From Megan in the office to GM Jeff at the dock, it has been a wonderful experience so far. The fellow slip owners are so helpful and knowledgable as well. They have been an invaluable source of information to me as this is the first big boat Ive owned. It you are looking for a place to park your boat, look no further my friends. You are not going to find a more affordable treasure than Drakes Creek Marina.

We haven’t had a Waverunner in 20 years and today was our first time to put our new ski in the water.Many thanks to Kim for getting me all set up with a great outdoor covered slip earlier in the week, which made it so easy today!Also a big thanks to Bill for being so helpful today in “showing us the ropes” over there since we had come from another marina in town. He is very professional and certainly knows his stuff, but is so easy going and pleasant!Thanks to Jay for putting our ski in her new slip and maneuvering that big machine so well.What a great concierge experience! Can’t wait to take her back out again!Thanks again to management and the extensive crew that made our first time at Drakes Creek Marina so memorable.

Very busy marina with so many different crafts parked there.Its easy to get in and out but the planks are shaky and its a little overpriced. Gas prices were as reasonable as youd expect and great location.

First year at this Marina and everyone is very nice and helpful. I have been so impressed with this place. Highly recommend.

We just starting boating, actually owning one and not renting and so far, this Marina has been great working with us. They are very helpful in answering all our questions and even though they tend to get very busy on the weekends (maybe an understatement on tend to), they are, or have been, always polite and patient with us. I had read some of the older posts from the past and was somewhat concerned before signing up, but we have not had this bad experience at any point, for the past three months. I would currently recommend this establishment to future, new boat owners if they want, mostly hassle-free service and experience of getting your boat in and out of the water and keeping it safely in storage when not in use. Please read their contract carefully though and note the area of insurance coverage on your boat. If I could recommend one item that I wish they would consider, and that would be to offer a fuel discount to those who are in the storage program. I think this would be a great incentive for boat owners there and a win-win for the marina.Happy Boating!

These folks sold us a boat that they never could get to run right. It would constantly die when you tried to shift it from drive into neutral. I returned it to their shop several times and they could never solve the problem. This problem eventually lead to it dying and drifting into two different boats, and they STILL wouldnt fix the problem!After I crashed the boat at their marina RIGHT AFTER THEY HAD AGAIN FIXED IT, I was finally told that the boat is old and you just have to let it warm up a long time.We had the boat for only one summer and then tried to get them to re-sell it for us because we were moving and the trailer that came with the boat did not seem able to make a cross-country trip.NOTE: Since this was our first boat we had gotten assurances from them BEFORE purchase that they would be glad to resell it for us.Just before I left town, I left the boat at their lot (AS INSTRUCTED). They waited until I had left town, called my wife and informed her that I had just dripped the boat off and that she needed to come get the boat because they were unwilling to sell it for us in its current condition.The boat has now been in storage for almost a year with us paying for all of this.My complaints: 1.)They sold us a boat with the promise that they would resell it for us - and then they refused to do so when the time came. 2.) They sold us a boat that they themselves could never even get to run properly.This is/was our first boat. I repaired the rotted out floor (that they didnt tell us about) myself. I cleaned and maintained the boat and serviced/gassed it up ONLY with Drakes Creek Marina.CONCLUSION: I would NEVER under any circumstances purchase NOR recommend ANYONE purchase or have their boat serviced at Drakes Creek Marina. They did not keep their word to us and they left us stuck with a boat they simply didnt want the responsibility of fixing correctly and reselling.

Great Greenery all around the piers. Lots of dry dock space Also.

Clean nice place to keep your boat. Every one is nice there and you can get your boat out of dry stock fast if you need to.

A good Marina thats getting better Under New Management. The improvements are phenomenal!!!

Very disappointed in the management. After being there a year, left for Cedar Creek Marina which is much better. Theres a reason most marinas in the area are expanding and Drakes cant fill all their slips. The marina manager is rude and incompetent. Theres a mass exodus going on now. Stay away!
