Beautiful inventory but a bit pricey. Perhaps negotiable on prices? but I didnt talk to anyone. I only did cursory walk through, seeking specific items, which they didnt have on display.

Its like walking into the 19th century, but with 21st century prices.

Nice place, but seemed to be geared toward tourist trade. Not a place to go to find a deal. Ladies up front were extremely nice.

Went here today for the first time based on reviews and photos from Google. Very nice set up, very well organized and very clean. There’s a hidden little book section upstairs with a variety of books from Southern to arts to military. It’s a high end antique store in my opinion. Lots of China, silver plated flatware and serve ware, cabinets, tables and glassware all with a pretty hefty price. It’s hard for me to understand the prices without any history on the items though. Like a wooden box would be $395, and the tag would just say “ornate wooden box.” Almost all items are labeled similarly which is disappointing, because I’m sure there is a good history for each piece. That’s the fun of collecting antiques for me is knowing the history or even a date/era of a piece. Overall it was nice to walk around and look at all of the beautiful items displayed here.

Book lovers! -- The **hidden treasure** of this store is in the upstairs, at the front of the store. There are enough old books - including some first editions - that you can easily spend an hour or more perusing. Let your other half have the downstairs, but disappear up those narrow stairs and find a great bookstore that does _not_ get listed if you search for bookstores in Hendersonville. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite places in town. I love to browse and love it when something speaks to me. Its a beautifully set up shop. While it is filled with treasures, its not so crowded that Im afraid to reach for something. The owner and staff are knowledge and helpful. This is a place that I bring my out of town guests and they ask to come back. I have purchased many gifts from Village Green and have many treasures from here in my home.

Would have been nice if we could have seen the whole store, but we were rushed out by the person working the store. They didnt acknowledge us at all when we came in but they damn sure let us know we had to leave. I wont be back, there are plenty of other antique stores appreciative of your business.

Owner retiring, vendors packing up, chaos, I would call first.

What a fabulous antique shop with all wonderful fine antiques. None of the new collectible junk that is so prevalent in so many so called antique shops. The owner is gracious and exhibits a high level of integrity. If you love truly fine antique shops this is a can’t miss stop.

The experience of browsing through it alone is worth the visit. Got a finely seasoned cast iron skillet for $20. Comfy atmosphere.

A real, honest-to-goodness antique mall. No shabby chic, no farm decor just antiques. LOVED IT!
