So far so good. We had a wonderful experience here. Pat was warm and friendly right from the beginning. We just came here from a negative experience at another piano store and the experience was night and day. Not only was Pat friendly and helpful but the owner himself took the time to sit down and demo. the piano that I was interested in! When does that ever happen?What a great place. My piano comes in next week! I bought a Kwai mico baby grand! Can’t wait. I’ll keep you posted on the delivery service but I expect it will be a positive experience as well. It just seems to be how they do business here.

This place was excellent!! I’m so happy that we can because Pat was incredibly knowledgeable, walked us through the process of buying a piano and what to look for without us feeling any pressure. After playing multiple pianos in the room we found an amazing piano and are super excited to have it delivered to our home. Super appreciate Pat and his help, and is was definitely a place that I recommend purchasing an instrument.

Came to my favorite music store the other day and spent about 1/2 an hour playing the Bergmann grand piano. What a beauty with an amazing rich and mature sound. The keys feel nice and heavy and full action. After about 10 minutes when my fingers were warmed up, it was feeling just right. They also have a beautiful Yamaha grand at the front of the store when you walk in. These guys do pianos right. Nice staff and very knowledgeable. I look forward to coming back.

My grandson and nephew love this place and their piano teacher, Jenny. I had an accounting issue and they took care of me. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even ran into Brendan Urie’s dad (of Panic at the Disco). He was so nice.

If I could give a negative rating, I would be more than happy to do so. I ordered a piano from a sale that was from this store. This is the absolute worst customer service that I have received from in my ENTIRE LIFE! The owner or the employees dont inform nor do they provided updates on the delivery status. I understand the COVID-19 situation, however, it would be in the best interest of the business to at least inform and update their customers when there are problems and longer waits rather than just keep the customer in the dark and make them ultimately worried.

Im not sure what Z is talking about with their negative review, but I just had a great customer service experience with Family Music Center. I couldnt continue with music lessons that I had pre-paid. When I called to ask for a refund, not only did they respond immediately, the owner emailed and texted with the exact instructions on how to get my money back. When I went into the store to have them refund the amount back on my card, the counter service workers were knowledgeable and helpful. Overall it was an easy and fast experience. Also, the lessons that I did attend were very helpful.

Family Music is by far the best guitar shop I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Definitely worth a visit, just guitars of highest quality! Their staff is extremely helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The guitars are beautifully setup and they carry some of the most stunning instruments I have ever seen/heard. Really friendly staff. The prices are great. Music lessons are offered as well as instruments. They are simply amazing. Hope to be back soon :)

What horrible customer service from the sales agents! The guy wouldnt even give us the respect to talk to us and keep eye contact. We went for a rental and because he wasnt listening to us for two seconds he just heard the accountant say violins and walked right passed us and got the wrong type. Then when she told him we wanted an advanced violin he made an annoyed sound walked right passed us again, as I was trying to explain exactly what we were looking for and came down with what looked to be the most run down violin they had, the string was hanging off AND the violin was damaged. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Dont go here!

Worth the 300 mile drive! We came from San Diego to purchase an Alto Sax after making contact on Reverb. They have a great selection almost every finishing available so its about the only place you can get variety. Price is Right and they really gave me red carpet treatment. Thanks for doing it right!

These guys are great. My sons flute needed to be cleaned and turned in the very next day and Anson (manager of the Repair Department) was kind enough to make his instrument a priority in spite of the last minute request and being swamped with the myriad of other students instruments. He was very understanding and his willingness to go the extra mile is what made me want to go out of my way to leave a review. Their customer service is top notch!

DO NOT go here to get a guitar string put on your guitar if you dont know how.....wanted to get my daughters guitar fixed for her, family music wanted to charge me 25 dollars, and I walked in with the string I needed replaced. I took my business to guitar center, which is where I will now go and they charged me 5 and they were very friendly and where I will now do business. Also had an occurrence with an electric piano cord. Was told they would help me find the right one and needed....never called me or tried to reach out. WOW, they call themselves a family

For the most part I was very happy there. The staff was kind and helpful. I just started teaching piano, so I was looking for a number of books. I felt like I was in a library, as they let me sit and read a few books, and brought me more to look at.

I had to bring my little brother here to get his saxophone fixed. They said it would be done on Monday, I have them some time and came in Tuesday. Ended up it wasnt even touched and needed 2 more days. He ended up failing the semester for missing his instrument for 4 days which is less time than it took for then to repair. Seems the extra Ive been paying for covered maintenance wasnt worth it. Id recommend kesler and sons instead.

Never shop at Family Music. They sell defective and over priced merchandise, and then will do NOTHING to keep their customer happy. I will not return and I will tell everyone in my daughters school band as well. My daughter bought this brand new Cordoba guitar on 11/6/17 and paid $287.92 for it after tuning fee which she wasnt even informed about until AFTER it was done. Shes played it 3 times, kept it in its case on the top shelf in her closet...She opened the case to play it and its broken. She took it to her guitar teacher who says theres no way this could have happened without it being a manufacturers defect. Family Music refuses to refund her money and treated her and I very poorly while we were in the store today. They only offered her a used guitar with nicks and scratches for $100 and to refund the difference. Shes found a used guitar (same brand) in perfect condition at another store for $50....but they are now refusing to even exchange it and its under warranty!

0 stars would be more appropriate. The miserable bullocks Simon will rob you blind selling you a piano promising you they can deliver it anywhere (upstairs, downstairs, on the roof etc. ) and then when the $ is exchanged plop it inside the door of your home and tell you youre on your own. I hate that lying sack o shire

I had an terrible experience with this company. I first called them and asked if they had a luthier that was employed there. I was told promptly that he wasnt in and he was due to arrive at 1 giving me an hour and a half to make it there or wait. So I arrived at 1:10 with him nowhere to be found one of the gentleman inside the place got them on the phone and the gentleman told me hed be back in around 3 I asked him if we could set an appointment for 4:30 on the DOT he said yes. I show up 4:28 with the cashier telling me that he left a message for me and had an emergency. The employees here obviously have better things to do than to gain any customers business. I would strongly suggest to you to find another shop.

I have been to this place multiple times to rent a piano, I have called and called. I have left messages with the owner to call me back. I called two of their locations and they never had the respect to call me back. This place has the worst customer service in town! It disgusting to treat customers this way ! Do not waste your time with this place ! I would give them a 0 if I could.

You must obviously go into the store knowing exactly what you need, otherwise JT doesnt seem to be very helpful. I wont be coming back to this store, even if its close to my house. I will take my business back to Kessler where theyre friendly.

I bought a guitar for 287.92 jist to find out less than a week later the bridge broke off while in the case i did aome reaserach and asked a music professional he told ne it is a manufacturing issue i took it to family music center and they are refusing to give me my money back!! And will only give me store credit i never want to come back they are trying to pass off a crappy guitar on me in exchange for my nice cordoba.. Ugh i dont think so.. I didnt buy one with nicks and scratches for a reason becuase i wanted a nice quality one and they sold me a DEGECTIVE PRODUCT!!!Never buy anything at any family music store this is a rip off waiting to happen!

I think it was very messed up that today August 31 2016 about 11:45 am off Cheyenne and Rancho a lady that was in a 2001 Ford Windstar backed up into my vehicle and left the seen with no remorse on if my grand baby, or nephew and me were ok . Good thing she left all the information

I went into this store to purchase a piano and they were over priced and wouldnt price matchanother local dealer. I went to the other dealer and they even gave us free delivery.My son at the same time needed a string on his viola and a person named Danny said that nobody was available at this time to do that?
