This restaurant is a five-star WOW!! . The best omelette I have ever had and the best service I have ever had. We recommend this restaurant. I had the egg white Jolly Green Giant omelette. Yum and they make their own potato chips. They make the best banana nut bread and pumpkin raisin bread I have ever tasted. And they have been there since 1979.
Great place! Tasty food and nice portions for the price. Over 30 omelets for you to choose from. Each one has 6 eggs! So bring your appetite! Super friendly service and the food came out quick. This place has a nice homey atmosphere and they kept coffee cup full along with my hlass of water. Love the chip fries. I had the homemade corned beef hash and it was amazing! So was the warm pumpkin and banana bread! If u r in north Las Vegas check out the Omelets house off of Charleston!
This place is just fantastic, if you like eating breakfast. Then this is the place for you. The food is really good but also the service. The servers are constantly asking you if you need anything. The refills keep coming without you having to ask for it. We had omelettes with these potatoes, it was about as perfect as it can get and not costly at all. I would highly recommend this place.
If you want fo feel like youre having breakfast with your grandparents this is the place! The food is magical make you feel like youre a child again! The omelets are amazing, but their bread specially the banana bread is other level, the decour is like your grandparents may have it back when your a child thats why I said is magical, and the staff is super friendly they treat you as family
Delicious breakfast spot we found when visiting Vegas. Lots of different omelet choices that come with a side of potatoes and either toast, banana or pumpkin bread. We had the banana and pumpkin bread which did not disappoint. Food was good, staff was friendly and prices where decent for the amount of food you get.
The place is very charming, this is a great example about teamwork they all work together to get things done and very fast. Abbie was the one who got our drinks and stayed on top of it. Irene our server eased very knowledgeable and she recommend the carnitas omelet with banana bread and omg it was delicious along with the French toast. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place
This place is fantastic!! Its a must visit if your from out of town! And they have a wonderful staff, Jax made sure our drinks were always topped off and Cathy was fantastic taking out order making sure everything was perfect! They are amazing and make you feel like your at home. They have great huge plates of food the Popeye omelet was tasty! I love the apple cinnamon stuffed toast and their banana bread is a must have!
Never been here before, but knew it must be something good when the parking lot was packed full and when we walked in the door they have signs telling us how long the wait is at certain points in the hallway.AndWow!!! This place was amazing. The food was outstanding, as was the entire staff.I had the Kitchen Sink Omlette, the absolute best omlette that Ive ever had. She had the Lobster Benedict. She said that it was great.Next time and every time were in Vegas, well be having breakfast here. As she said, weve found a new favorite restaurant.Youve got to try this place. You definitely wont leave here hungry.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Went here recently with my wife during a quick long weekend getaway in Vegas; primarily based off of the positive reviews that I saw online. First; after the experience we had; I think that most of those reviews are potentially manufactured. Even some a lot o the pictures are not reflective of what we saw. After our experience; there is NO WAY this place can be rated a 4.7.Initially, my wife thought the Omelet House was closed down due to the outside appearance. We didnt really think much of it as there were clear signs of construction in the area. After navigating the maze to get to the dining room; you are met with what I would describe as an attempt of preserving history; however it looked old and run down. It didnt smell that good either. With the thought of more than 4,000 people giving this place a 4.7 rating...we decided to order food anyway. Big Mistake! As we waited for our food....we started to really notice our surroundings. The carpet (yes...carpet in a restaurant dining room from 1979) was a stained dingy green. I think the source of the moldy and stuffy smell that just sat in the air. The coffee was...well it was...not coffee, but dirty water. I ordered one of their famous specialty scrambled eggs that was just disgusting. The ham was flavorless and chewy. The spuds (potato chips?) were stale, and the eggs just soggy. It was a big mess on a plate that did not look appetizing at all. For the first time in my life I actually spat out the food in a napkin after taking a couple bites. My wife and I - confused...decided to read over the reviews again; which inspired this review. We found it very distasteful in how the owner responded to some of the negative reviews. As opposed to taking ownership and listening to their customers; they were very defensive, argumentative, and not at all professional. Honestly...this place needs a full reboot, and I do not recommend at all!!
First time here with my gf, the atmosphere was great, beautiful place like grandparents place very homely. Nice and very friendly people, loved the service, very precise. The food I felt in love, it was so delicious. I had the 38 special with a waffle and pumpkin cake, my gf had The Bugsy with the pancakes and banana bread cake.
Plenty of seating, very good food with decent prices. We had a nice waitress that checked back often. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Yes, yes and YES! Our first morning in Vegas, looking for a tasty meal at a reasonable price--OMELET HOUSE was perfect! Large servings, delicious food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. We definitely plan to come back during our stay. (Lunch menu looks awesome, too.)
The best thing about the place is definitely the banana bread and the amount of potatoes that they give you with every order. The huevos racheros i’m definitely not what I call authentic but still are very yummy. It’s the reason why we come back and the fact that it is such a good price specially if you have a big family and you just want to have breakfast out. The service is definitely good keep in mind it is very busy specially on the weekdays or honestly most mornings. But again it really is worth it.
Oh My Goodness! We were headed to our favorite breakfast spot here in Vegas, the wait was over an hour so we searched and found The Omelet House. What a hidden gem this is, we may have just found our new favorite spot.We had the pastrami and cheese omelet as well as the corned beef hash omelet. They were amazing! My husband said the pastrami was the best he has ever eaten!Megan, our waitress was awesome and the manager was very present. We WILL be back!
The Omelet House is one of those places that feels like home. You know when you go off to College and/or move out of town. You cant wait to go home and hit up some of your favorite places youve been missing. The food is great! Customer Service is great! And its a classic, the food always taste the same...great!Glad theyve survived the pandemic, as we know so many other Ma and Pa business havent. So support our small businesses, theyre the heart beat of the country!
This place had the best omelets i ever had! I could not finish one plate so i recommend sizing down or sharing. The stuffed French toast was also so amazing
Why do you serve potato chips with breakfast? They are lousy by the way. Give people an option for homefries. Omelette was solid but does the owner really really like those chips? I don’t get it.I want to thank the owner for responding. That shows you care! Next time I am in Las Vegas in 2022 I will come back to Omelette House just because! and I dont have to order the chips lol.
Best omelet shop ever. Not a small task to eat it all. Order then 39 and test yourself. Friendly staff. Coffee cup never got empty. Food was outstanding. Get away from the strip and see what the town has to offer. Better food at reasonable prices. Plus the locals are friendlier that the casinos staff. Put this on your list to see.
Great service. Great coffee (had to ask, it was Farmer Brothers coffee). Huge tasty omelettes (took half home and ate it over the next two days). The potatoes were not the greatest - they are sliced like potato chips without the crunch - but who cares? If you have a car, this is the place to go.
One of the finest places to go to for breakfast. Shocked to see I didn’t leave a review as soon as I left. This place is fantastic. The decor is beautiful and unique, the people are sweet and the food is delicious.
WHAT A PLACE 💕Thia place is different, the food is so good and tasty, the people here is kind. Has a vintage look and it makes you feel like you in your grandmas house ready to eat a delicious meal. This place is good for families and people in general. The environment they have created is the best and charming. If you come to Nevada, you must visit this place and enjoy the food, the plates are big enough to keep you full for a looooong time, and the quality is the best.
This was our first time finally trying this place. The service was amazing. The 2 stars comes from my food. This place is voted the best. Hubs got corned beef hash with eggs and spuds. His food was meh. The spuds are homemade potato chips. Not really something your expecting for breakfast. I order a side of country ham and french toast. The country ham was more of a smoked ham steak which is not Country ham and my french toast was cold. I sent my food back and had them recook my french toast and got a side of bacon. The french toast has absolutely no flavor and can be made better at home. The bacon was supposed to be apple wood smoked. It was very thin and crispy with the only flavor coming from the syrup I had to dip it in. The manager did remove my meal from the ticket. (Only fair since I left still hungry) Overall our food was mediocre and would not recommend.
This place is amazing! We stumbled across this place this morning, and got greeted and seated within a minute of walking in. We were given our drinks just a couple minutes after, and every time any server walked past us they asked if we needed anything. The servings are huge and the food was delicious. Everything about here was a wonderful experience, from the environment to the food to the service. Our waitress, Irene was incredible and so kind. I can’t wait to come back
This place is great! Ive been eating a lot of Omelets since I moved to Las Vegas and this is hands down the best! The best deal for your money, the best tasking Omelets, the best staff. Ive heard young local people say this place is in the ghetto of Las Vegas, but I didnt get that feeling at all. Its located in a classic side of old town. Off strip and full of history. Just look at all the celebrity autographs on the wall. If your into the more authentic side of Las Vegas I highly recommend The Omelet House!
Long day planned for my sisters birthday. Wonderful start to the day. Karen aka Baby Swoops was amazing! We had 6 people in our party with very specific orders and everything was perfect. Great service, great food, lots of laughs! Will definitely visit again the next time Im in Vegas.
Huge portions and their homemade potato chips are scrumdiddlyumptious. Went during the week before the lunch crowd. They can have some serious lines.
An iconic omelette and breakfast place in the heart of Vegas. Service is always friendly and fast. Food is ALWAYS excellent and you get a bang for your buck with the portion size. Always more than satisfied with everything this place has to offer.
Wow!We were made a beeline for our #1 breakfast spot here in Vegas, the stand by was longer than an hour so we looked and discovered The Omelet House. What a secret pearl this is, we might have quite recently tracked down our new most loved spot.We had the pastrami and cheddar omelet just as the corned meat hash omelet. They were astounding! My significant other said the pastrami was the best he has at any point eaten!Megan, our server was magnificent and the supervisor was exceptionally present. We WILL be back!
Agree to all the good comments about the chili verde omelet - delicious. It’s a bit spicy but not too much. We loved our food and the atmosphere here. The staff is very friendly. It looks like a place where locals go.
Had the Lobster omelet on our way back to California & it was perfection. Great priced just delicious
This place is really good food homemade corned beef and hash its so good. Banana bread pumpkin bread. Those are a pretty interesting potato chips. Coffee was even good we are very surprised. Didnt like the long walk from the parking lot into the restaurant week because we had to walk through a building full of other businesses which is strange. And my husband has trouble walking so that was not fun.
Service was ok. Drinks was a hassle. Im very much spoiled when it comes to water growing up on fresh spring water, and the local water doesnt taste good. I brought in a bottle and wanted just a cup of ice and she didnt understand. Ten plus minutes waiting we asked a person walking by that we still hadnt ordered she said our waitress would be by to take. Keep in mind both our menus were neatly stacked on the edge of our table (an international sign webare ready to order) and no service. Once we ordered, we noticed the table next to us got a lengthy explanation of certain items on the menu that we did not get. Was definitely treated differently. The Special French Toast was okay.Just a heads up the Omelets are big enough with six eggs to feed two people.
Great customer service and most of all great food. I highly recommend going here.
I got the #11 Joes Omelet with Jalapenos. One of the best omelets Ive had! Large portions of food. So much cheese that it strings out when cutting away from the omelet. Staff was super friendly! Im glad we didnt eat anywhere on the strip and have to pay extra for being on the strip. $28 tax included with coffee for 2 people to eat. If there is a line, it is more than worth the wait!
Is really great tasting and filling, the service is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable.
From the quirky decorations to the super friendly staff this place gets two thumbs up! The omelettes we ordered were delicious! The eggs were fluffy and the fried potato chips(?) were unique. Neither of us could eat them all. Would absolutely eat here again!
We went there on a Saturday morning at around 10 and had a very minimal wait time. I cant say enough about the staff and service. We were spoken to by at least 7 employees on the way to our seat. Very welcoming! The place looks a little old, dated and not well lit in some areas but dont let that sway you. The food is good and you get a lot of it! The banana bread was a good starter and They are constantly coming by to top off your drinks as well. I am a big dude and decided to split an Omelet and an order of pancakes with my wife and we never thought about eating again until after 7pm. This will always be our go to spot when in LV.
Super friendly staff. The food was great, and the portions were heaping. The lobster Benedict was fantastic. Highly recommend for breakfast.
The experience: the entrance is kind of like going into a mini-mall... we followed around some closed businesses and then ended up at the hostess table. Everyone was very nice, friendly! But the food is just OK. Not inedible... but we will certainly never return. The food: hubby got the stuffed French toast, which in reality is a French toast sandwich-- heavy on the pie filling (tasted like straight from a can) and light on the cream cheese spread. Probably would taste a ton better if the load were reversed to: heavier on the cream cheese spread and light on the pie filling. It was overbearing and hubby couldnt eat much of it. He also added the cornbeef and hash... now this was inedible and it looked terrible.I had regular French toast. It was ok. The syrup was bland. We both had over easy eggs (unsalted, do diy on your plate) and bacon (only part we actually enjoyed).Again, server was delightful, other staff friendly. We enjoyed ourselves, but didnt enjoy the food.Atmosphere: eclectic.Neutral 3 stars
Cass our server was awesome, friendly, great sense of humor and attentive! Delightful menu! Our omelet was great! We split because they serve 6 egg omelets!!!! The banana bread was scrumptious! Thank you!
I thought this place was going to be a joke, but when the omelet came out and I saw how much meat was added I was pleasantly surprised. The food came out quickly, as I was in a hurry, and tasted like home made. I was very happy with the service and it was clean. My only disappointment was how dark it felt inside. I think the interior needs an update.
Fast service, massive portions. The standard omelette is 6 eggs! Large menu of choices. A fine place to eat keto. However, this is definitely a Middle America flavor. Bring your own hot sauce if you want interesting tastes!
Big portions of delicious food with homemade potato chips/slices. Pumpkin bread is hot and tasty with real butter. Cant stay away from this place.
Wasn’t great but wasn’t bad either. Service was good. Fast and some of the staff was friendly and others more straight to business. I will say the portions were definitely big and food was good. Just not my style.
My honey woke up wanting an omelet so we googled best Omelets and here we are. Little spot on Charleston. Because of covid you enter/exit on opposite sides. We went in on a Thursday around noon, was greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive andgave us some popular suggestions to choose from. Our Omelets came out super fast. I had the #38 with no ham added spinach, bell peppers, and avocado. They use 6 eggs per Omelets and was served with potatoes and toast. I ate less than half and was full. Took the rest home to my teenager..lolOverall it was good we had to get plastic silverware because ours was dirty.
Amazing good and great service ! Chili is really good …
Excellent Food Excellent Sevice.(All the Waitresses were awesome!)I wish more restaurants are more like this oneThank you for making my vegas trip awesome
I love this place....quite OVER PRICED!!! ( VERY SAD....) This is one of THE places to must bring visitors to Las Vegas....
After staying a couple of days in Vegas, we were looking for a more genuine Vegas breakfast than the strip has to offer. Finally we stumbled with the Omelet House. We were greeted and promptly seated. Wife ordered a a Omelet which was delicious and I ordered a French toast combination which was delish as well. We recommend this restaurant. You will not get dissapointed portions are humongous.
I visited from New Jersey on 5/17/21 and went to eat at omelet house and the food was awesome will be going again b4 going home thank u for the hospitality and service workers are on point with costumers thank you
I had the biscuits and gravy and was excellent my wife had the over easy eggs and it was extremely good my friend had the chicken-fried steak and she loved it. The potatoes did shocked us at first but were extremely good
First time in many years. I was part of a womens group that met every Wednesday morning. Valerie was out server. So after all this time, i asked friends to meet for a great breakfast before a meeting downtown. I ran into Valerie and she remembered my name!!.Food is excellent, especially the potatoes!!I would highly recommend this restaurant. Ask for Valerie and tell her ajo sent you!!
Everytime ive ever been here the food is the bomb and theres big portions and decent prices. I got a oatmeal with french toast sausage and eggs. My fiance got the farmer juans omlet with american cheese. Their signature potatos and Banana nut bread, which i must say is a must have when u come here. Also a great fruit juice and rasberry icee tea.
Absolutely excellent. Fabulous server-Katt, loved her. Fresh food and delicious. Well done. A hide-a-way secret. Great menu. Prices are medium. A lot of food for the price. Mocha drink was perfect. Not overly sweet. I will be returning.
Great place for breakfast. Many delicious items on the menu especially the banana bread. Great customer service. I would recommend to all.
The food is great. Very friendly service. Mzy be crowded at peak hours, but worth the wait
I was in town for the weekend and place was truly a hidden gem. I would have never guessed looking from the outside, their breakfast would be amazing. I had the Philly cheese omelet and two (2) short stack pancakes, and my girlfriend had the stuffed French toast with apples. Go here and you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait for my next visit.
I have never had such delicious stuffed french toast. Definitely worth the 45 minute wait to get in.
We had such a great experience here! We stopped here with our 5 kids on a roadtrip and our waitresses were so friendly and patient. (Valerie and Andrea) My kids loved their food, strawberry face pancakes with eggs and sausage. The Greek omelette was to-die-for and the Blueberry Stuffed French Toast was amazing! We would definitely come here again. It had a great laid back atmosphere and everyone was really nice.
We are from San Antonio,TX. We travel a lot and had the one of the best service. Our waitress was amazing. Our food was so good and fully loaded plates. I totally recommend the stuff blueberry French toast! It felt like we were in some elses house with the best Hospitality. The coffee was so good as well!
