RUDE RUDE RUDE! This is why I try to stay away from mom n pops. I fueled 109 gallons and they rudely argued with me about it to the point another trucker said he’d give me his shower Bc he had just fueled. Blonde girl is like “how are you gonna give him your shower?” They finally found my receipt. Then they asked if “that girl” who is my wife, wanted a shower too. I told them she was my WIFE, as I showed them my gold wedding band. Then she said she’d “let it slide this time” Bc team showers are normally $12 🙄🙄. First off, I made over $200k last year between trucking and my 2 Airbnb listings in Florida. I’m not worried about getting discounts. Second, the other trucker gave me his rightful fuel-purchase shower. Finally, the big five (Loves, Petro/TA, Flying J/Pilot) have NEVER said anything about my WIFE showering with me. But they wanted to charge me for a TEAM SHOWER? My wife is a behavioral analyst who isn’t working right now due to covid. These girls literally had no proper raising Bc they had zero respect for us and I’ll never come here again.

The store and the bathrooms were clean. The entire location has a new feel to it, but either way, it’s clean and that’s what matters most to me. They offer a small but varied selection of food behind the counter (I didn’t try any of the food). Lots of options on their shelves also.There is a Denny’s restaurant attached to the building if that’s your thing.Lastly, I was surprised that they also have showers, but I can’t say much about that since I didn’t use themOverall, the location is above average in most or all areas (cleanliness, variety of options, conveniences, etc) that I could see. I would recommend stopping here.

This place is CLEAN! bathrooms are clean and smell clean, the convenience store is well stocked, decent truck parking also.

Im a car hauler with a big bumper and getting out of this place wasnt friendly with me. Bent my bumper leaving out of drive way because the dip is to big. 😡🤬. Only 1 way in and out

Its a borderline two star....one star for the friendly cashier checking me out and the other star for how clean the store seemed... other then that, the slushy machines werent cold and they were sweating...the coolers in general were barely cold...I wanted to stock my cooler up with drinks but who wants slightly cold drinks at that cost? The purpose of paying convenient store prices is having the convenience of a cold beverage ready to drink. The drinks were sweating in the cooler. Bought a bag of ice and even the ice they sell is cheap and unfiltered. The store looks way to nice to provide subpar retail like they do. Turn up the coolers and get those drinks cold, they should not be sweating in the fridge. Id of easily spent $30 bucks on drinks if they would have been cold. My loss on the cheap ice I guess. Wont be stopping here again.

There seem to be some Negative Nancys on here so Id like to clarify.... this is an AWESOME place to stop for a break or for the night. Store, restrooms and showers were very clean, new and updated. Staff was extremely friendly in the store and the Dennys. Parking lot is actually nicely manicured on the edges, spacious and clean. I guess for some people, nothing is good enough. 🤷‍♀️ For us it was fabulous.

Horrible service i tried to buy some meat pies but no one gave me my food

Staff is always friendly and willing to help. The restrooms are always clean and big enough to take all of the kids in. The fountain drinks are great, we have never had a bad experience, they even offer souvenir cups. Snacks and candy are always well stocked with a good variety. They are usually pretty busy during the day but the parking lot is easy to get in and out of and they have plenty of fuel pumps. Ive never had to wait in line. Great place to stop in to fuel yourself up and get a shoe shine.

Service was good & enjoyed the yogurt station they had. 6 flavors & bathroom was cleaned. Parking lot was spacious. They really didnt have any food selections but had good choices of salads..

I visit for the boot/shoe shine. The gas and the rest is a bonus.One of the last shoe shiners in east-texas works out of this location. Solid, old-fashion shine for a decent price.

2/24 06:20a.mMy co driver and I came in to rest and switch shifts. The restrooms were spotless as was the entire store. There was plenty of coffee and all tid bits that accommodate a cup. It was fresh and plenty of flavors to choose from. The food choices were amazing and so were the several items we decided to get. The absolute BEST of the experience were the 2 cashiers. They were friendly yet cranking people out for their day! This will be a place we will have no problems giving our business!

I would like to blame the staff for being so rude and disrespectful towards customers but unfortunately the manager is to blame for the manager sets the example!!! If the manager has no respect for the customer and displays rudeness than how can you expect the staff to do so. Most definitely this place needs new management immediately!!!!

Best place to get boots shined

Gateway sold me rotten milk. Took it back and they would not exchange it. They have no exchange policy on bad products they sell.

I work there and I rate it five stars because of the survive is great and the place is kept nice. Most people say it looks new, but its been up and running for I think 2 years. Stop in and see us. ✝️

Mens bathroom was dirty. Also, it appears they allow people to block/save parking spaces with their personal vehicles. Haliburton big offender.

Restrooms are clean. Has about 20 truck parking places. Could have more if they repainted the lines and put them closer together. Some truck drivers cant walk across the parking lot to throw away their trash, so the parking lot needs attention.

Nice staff and very clean place of business. Their handicap bathroom is totally inadequate.The shower has no place to sit while showering. Its designed to stand in only with no disconnect shower wand to shower with. Whoever designed this handicap shower facility needs to be barred from further design. The ADA Act takes a very dim view of businesses not in line with the Federal law and the lawsuite ratio of wins are 100 percent. I keep track of this sort of thing and I know. There are actual people who seek out businesses not in compliance with the ADA Act and have made millions of dollars in winning lawsuites doing so.

Nice truck stop beautiful building great merchandise large spacious bathrooms clean and well maintained with truck parking for at least 50 trucks with easy backing plenty of room to maneuver easy on and off highway with great food options eat something quick pre made in the warmer or go to dennys on-site also several restraunts nearby within walking distance good prices friendly staff overall 5 stars from me will be back keep up the great work

Every single time I stop here, the restroom is filthy and unstocked. Staff is very unfriendly. No greeting. No smile. They act like I am doing them a favor spending my hard earned money in this store. Wont be back again. I will stop in Kilgore or Nacogdoches from now on. Theyre super friendly at those Gateways.
