Unbelievable service! I don’t think there is a business in Henderson or Las Vegas that has provided such exceptional service. The technicians who sell and fit customers for glasses really know how to connect with their customers. Clearly the best personalized service I’ve ever received. I always leave feeling like they care so much more for the customers who come there. There is no location I would ever go to when it comes to buying or servicing my prescription glasses.
The service I received was amazing. I never wore glasses before and the selction process as well as the available options were satisfactorily explained. I did not feel rushed and the entire experience was excellent. Andrea was especially helpful.
I was bringing my daughter for an eye exam and we got stuck in some traffic I called the place 3 times 15 mins prior to the appointment knowing we would be approximately 15 mins late NO ONE ANSWERED the phone all 3 times . We arrived and are told we have to wait and see if the doctor can even see her because there is a 10 min grace period and we exceeded that !I explained to the receptionist JENNA that I had called 3 times and her response was very snarky and she said “ I was listening to voicemails of other patients so I didn’t answer incoming calls, maybe that’s why you could not get thru “ She was simply a smart a**and rude and I don’t appreciate that I work in hospitality and this company s not how customer service should be at all !! One star is all they get from me if I could rate a zero I would based on the rude receptionist!
These people are beyond incompetent. I ordered contact lenses after my eye exam appt. My right eye and left eye are different strengths. When I received contacts it was one box and just for the right eye. I called the lady who helped me, and asked why they would send contacts for just one eye and who would want that? She says to me youd be surprised how people just order for just one eye. What?! I told her as this is a new prescription I can assure you I wanted contact lenses for both eyes. They placed another order and they got that one wrong too. I needed an even amount of contacts for both eyes. This is basic. I am so frustrated with these people, and I dont recommend that anyone order eyeglasses or contacts. I should complain to my insurance company. Now I see why they have previous poor reviews.
All of the employees were great 😊 very friendly kind and courteous. I was not bombarded to make an expensive choice like a car salesman does when you are on a lot they let me browse and find what was comfortable for me. I recommend this store and optical center I love it
Worst customer service team ever. I had a 1040 appointment for contact training, was there twenty minutes early. They were suppose to help me put my contacts in, never happened. The person who was suppose to be training was yapping it up at the front desk, ensured I would see the doctor. Then when time came around, they kicked me out off the office becuase they were so busy depsite having a scheduled appointment. Worst front office team too, I m quite certain its illegal for a front office admin to be training you on contacts too.
I came back to Target Optical because in the past, I was treated very well by Andrea. She was the person who initially came to help my daughter and I. She explained the process of trying on glasses due to Covid restrictions. She said any glasses I tried on, went into a bin so they can be cleaned. Easy enough. She stepped out and I continued to look at glasses. I tried on a couple of glasses and placed them in the bin. The whole time I was there, I had to listen to an employee complaining to her coworkers about her job and past jobs. Very unprofessional. She was not even attempting to be discrete about it. Anyways, as I touched a pair of glasses to see the color a little better, I hear this same employee rudely say dont you put those back up there! Her voice was raised and annoyed. I told her I hadnt tried them on and I misunderstood what Andrea said. She then loudly responded you touched those glasses and now you contaminated them. Ok, I get that I may have misunderstood what they expected from customers, but this behavior is not how you treat customers. A simple hi, would you mind just placing any items that have been touched or tried on in the bin so we can clean them, PLEASE? This woman, who I found out is named Pat, spoke down to me and displayed such nasty behavior. I cant believe Andrea would have an unprofessional and rude person like this working here. I spoke with the nice girl that helped me when I got my eye exam and she didnt seem surprised about who it was. She offered Andreas personal number to me to let her know. I somehow misplaced Andreas number. I even tried calling target optical to speak to Andrea to let her know, but I did not get any call back. Very disappointing. I will never go back there as long as that nasty lady, Pat, works there. I went to Custom Eyes and had much better service there.
Great staff and doctor. Very friendly and professional. Needed help with insurance and they took care of it. Overall great experience.
Very polite staff and doctor!! Dr. Chan went through all examinations with me, made sure i understand what is going on and answered all my questions. He had a lot of patience while picking new lenses. Highly recommended!
Very disappointed in the customer service. I had scheduled an appointment and provided insurance information ahead of time, they called me back for a few missing details which I then called back to provide the morning of.The girl on the phone said if she had any other questions or issues she would call me back.Not having heard back the rest of the day, I went to my appointment as scheduled to find her on the phone with insurance as I was in the waiting room.There were issues with the provider so I was unable to move forward with my scheduled appointment and wasted time driving all the way there.If customer service had done their research and called my insurance provider prior to my appointment, I wouldn’t have wasted that trip and could have rescheduled.I’ve never seen another doctors office or any professional medical office confirm with insurance while the patient was in the lobby, rather than confirming these details prior to the appointment. Super unprofessional.What is the point of requesting information ahead of time if you aren’t calling insurance to confirm benefits until the time of the appointment?
Looked into appointments all across Henderson about a week ago; they had the soonest one, and I desperately need glasses. I show up to my appointment on time and they informed me that the Doctor went on leave for the next week (which, not docking the Doctor himself, Ive never met him) and that they called *some* patients, but not all. Not even all of the cash paying ones for That Day. Receptionist recommended Walmart, whos optic centers are currently closed due to Covid. I still love Target, but I am utterly disappointed.What truly inspired the review though, is the generic message I got, at 2am, saying we miss you! Please reschedule
I initially reviewed this location with 1 star, because I was mad about my appointment being canceled. After everything I found out that they did leave me a voicemail about the incident. They also left a note on their gate in case anyone missed the voicemail. When I actually had my appointment, the people where all friendly. They did have a small selection of lenses though.
I was going to give up on getting glasses again because the last 3 pairs that I have gotten did not seem right. I decided to give is a try again before my insurance was canceled. Kelly Reed got my prescription right and I will be back next year.
Drove 20 miles to get an exam and you guys couldnt even figure out whether you take my insurance or not. Wth do you think Im feeling right now, Im upset because I rushed over here for this to end up leaving with no care whatsoever. I ended up watching out because I wasnt getting an answer. Instead she started getting a walkin an appointment. Dont come here, dont give them your business. Their customer service is horrible.
So sad that this place has gone downhill so quickly! My family loved the staff in the frames area and have had exams with both Dr. Capana and Ngo. However when we arrived for our annual exam today it was a mess. The office was so dirty. The new doctor was visibly rubbing their mouth and face, and eating while licking their fingers in the exam room. I know that sounds like it can’t be true, but it really honestly is. We did not feel comfortable having the exam done after seeing that. It was so unprofessional. Add in the fact that the new office was now out of network. No thanks.
Absolutely one of the greatest experience Ive ever had. Knowledgeable staff, great prices, and a 5 star manager. Highly recommend satisfying all your eye needs here!

It is a bit of a limited selection but overall a great experience. Dr. Ngo is fast and percise. All I gotta say the deal I got was incredible. Dont sleep on the Target Optical
Went in on 1/31/19 at 7:30pm. It was the last day I could go pick out glasses before my insurance was terminated from my former employer. Although I went in super late, Frank (I believe is his name) was super nice and helpful. My luck, the VSP network was down sooooo he couldnt pull up my insurance information. He did the best he could and was still able to save me so much money without my insurance coverage! (awesome) Aside from that, he advised me to submit a request for reimbursement from VSP directly. So yes, I had to pay the remaining balance after the discounts were applied but he did everything he could on his end. So I appreciate him for that. Customer service was great.. when I picked up my glasses yesterday, he had attached the reimbursement sheet to the glasses. (Since VSP always seems to be down and wouldnt let me log in to file the reimbursement claim online.) He is great to work with.Ask about the red card holder discount :)
I would never suggest using this place. No one ever greets you. No one is on time to even acknowledge you for your appointment. My favorite is the so-called doctor will come out barking prices and procedures at you while other patients are around. This place really needs to get it together. Its unprofessional.

Patrick helped me and it was amazing ! I had my son who is 2 and very very active ! I always get anxiety because he’s running everywhere & i just get nervous. He made me feel at ease. I was going to leave and just come back but he made me feel comfortable so i stayed and my son was fine. He just kept washing his hands 😂 he gave me the best price possible. This is why i love target 🎯! Thank you Patrick and have a safe trip 🏝
Patrick was awesome! He was very detailed and knowledgeable about the lens and frames. He actually made the process fun for my tween! Great experience at both Arc for the exam and optical for frame selection. I feel like I got a great deal, especially with the additional savings coupons.
