Staff is fairly cool, I like seeing the dog when there! I will say that even the day of release prices were marked up on a 20 dollar retail item to 70 dollars, went back a couple hours later same item was 90 dollars. Tins that were 9 dollars were between 23-35 dollars. Over priced for day of release...most of the time over priced in general.

Love this place, awesome staff, great people, great books. Always love coming here and just spending some time looking at all they have. Never a dull area of the room, good deals on so many things. You guys rock, keep killing it!

Walked in to buy some comics and within 30 seconds was hounded for not wearing a mask by at least 4 individuals. Immediately walked out. Welcome to the cult of Covid. Avoid this place like the plague if youre a freedom loving individual and have any sense of principles. Remember the 15 days to prevent the spread??

Just bought a Magic The Gathering commander legends booster box here and I haven’t even went through half the box and Ive already pulled what I’ve spent on the box. 10/10 buying my booster boxes here. I love coming here too, the atmosphere is great, staff is amazing, and if you’re new you can comfortably ask the staff to introduce you to the friendly folks playing on the tables. :) SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL COMIC BOOKSTORE 💚

Favorite, hands down, place to get Magic cards. I drive 35 minutes just to go to this specific store. Love the staff, the people, the culture, the atmosphere. They even have a ‘loyalty’ program. I haven’t taken advantage of it, they already earned my loyalty by being awesome. Attended a couple pre-release events before COVID, and it was super fun. Looking forward to doing it again.

Walked into this place and was immediately bombarded for not wearing a mask. I mean talk about a cult! Dont shop here if you value your medical freedom because they will surely discriminate against you.

Not sure if it was a race issue or not but was told by the owner/manager we could not sit at the tables and sort the comics we were looking to buy (over 100 of them). He told us we could sit anywhere ( but obviously not at the tables). The worker told us we could sit there before hand. They had 2 tables being used by a group who were eating a meal for 30 mins before moving into a game. The owner then took another table to eat his meal as well. But we were not allowed to sit at one of the other 8 tables, especially when there was no one else in the store shopping. Also, a lot the old books we were looking for they do not put in bags and mark with a black marker. Will not head back here and will spread the word.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE!!!! Came in to really take my time to dig in the back issues which most appear to be cover price cause majority had no price and found some valuable ones after spending a good 40mins or so digging and the owner asks if she can start pricing books for me which left me confused in regards to why that wasn’t done already and she starts cheering behind the counter finding out what books are worth and they bring the books back to me way overpriced since I doubled checked their values myself. So instead of getting free labor from your customers how bout you actually put in some hard work, dig in your inventory and properly price your items. I will never return to this store.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Destroyed messy back bins and if you find anything they will eBay it! Do not let this store have you come in do their work for them!!

Terrible experience, some girl with braces was very rude, Kelly I believe its her name. Also some Magic cards were fakes and they tried to play dumb about it. be careful.See their response? Nasty people there, selling fake cards.

Went in for the first time today. The store has an old school feel which I love. The owner was very friendly and we were greeted at the door by his dog. The store has a great selection of gaming books, paints and miniatures. Also, a large selection of new comics and backn issues as well. I will definitely be going back.

Moved out here from Georgia in August. This is the only card and comic shop I bother with. Great service, nice employees, and nice patrons. Spacious gaming areas and plenty of selections for most things nerdy! I love it here.

Action comics is a great shop for gaming hobbyists. Friendly staff always try to help you with questions.. If they dont know they will work to find an answer for ya... Pre covid they had a number of in-shop games going on MTG, Warhammer, D & D, and even some board games. Post Covid it still has exceptional customer service They do request the wearing of masks, which is not a big deal.prices are comparable to online ordering and there are a few unique items you can get in store as well. Thanks for being in my community Action.

Worst customer service ever they lutr something on hold for me and sold it after I drove 30 miles to get it then the lady says oh they came right after 3 I assumed it was you like i had the guy put it under my name thanks never again overpriced

Husband & oldest grandson are comic collectors. This is their local fave shop. Grandson enjoys Pokemon games there.

It is a pretty good board game shop. It is a bit cluttered and messy. Their selection is kinda limited since they also sell comics. They do have plenty of room to come in and play at.

I buy here weekly. Love the place. Everyone is more than willing to help you. You can get pretty much anything your looking for and if they dont have something they will always do what they can to find it and get a hold of you later if you give them some time. Highly recommended.

Its a great comic shop, i always go there for the majority of my magic the gathering merchandise.

They have nice and fairly knowledgeable staff reasonable prices and a good selection of D&D minis if thats what youre looking for both painted and unpainted. Normally I will just go online to get almost anything I need but I find myself liking the store enough that Im willing to spend a little bit extra to support the store and I recommend my friends do the same all the time.

I dont go there as much as Id like but when I do they are always in the know. Also if there is something you would like to get, be it comics tabletop games or board games they will offer to order it for you. Action is the best!

Very good for people who like comicstheyre also some uncommon comics there.Most of the board game they have are actually very interesting. This place is exactly what they say they are.

I love the atmosphere here and greatly enjoy hanging out while my guy plays MtG. So many Doctor Who and LOTR things to buy amongst countless other things.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Selection is the largest Ive seen in the area. Huge area for playing board games which you can either bring yourself or use their demo games. Every Thursday Night they have dungeons and dragons at 530.

Nice place. Lots of card game stuff and they have a few leagues as well. They also have lots of comic books, several other games and also sell some figurines/action figures.

This place have a lot of things u need for RPG. From dice, books, and miniature. Also they have Magic the Gathering card games and u can play against others in the store. Then of course u got rows of comics. This place have the best selection Ive seen in awhile.

Was simply browsing one night. Over heard the people playing some card game loudly talking about me and being overall quite disrespectful.Might be wise keep your guests from making your business look bad in front of other potential customers.

I came in here to buy some Dungeons & Dragons miniatures. While I was shopping, a group of Magic players were seated at a gaming table, having a loud, vulgar and sexually explicit discussion. The owners didnt seem to care that a group of customers was having a discussion that other customers might find offensive. Ive purchased Miniatures and books here a few times and Ive always found the staff aloof and more concerned with their regulars. Nice selection, icky ambience.

Nothing wrong with this place a lot of fun things inside to look at gatherings with friends card players magic the gathering what night it’s just not in the greatest neighborhood had my bike stolen outside so not a fan which they’ve moved to a better place

My favorite comic book store. I like it more for the D&D products though the 2e materials are starting to become sparse. Save your receipts as you get discounts when you have spent a lot.

I came in today to browse some dice as well as their Pathfinder section. This place isnt very close to my house but my family and I came to look around anyways because I have always loved their variety and amount of products that interest me. While my family (3 of us) were looking at the dice display, deciding what we wanted to get, a woman (Im not sure if shes the owner or just works there) rudely pushes past us and tells us to get out of the way, Im coming through as she proceeds to push past us and open the display case for another customer.Shocked by just how blatantly rude she was, we all just dispersed and started browsing elsewhere until about 2 minutes later she screams across the store (filled with other customers) OK you guys are now allowed back to look at the dice.We all had several things in our hands to purchase but quickly put them back on the shelves.Who do you think you are??? We wont be coming back here.
