I was delighted by the quality of the coffee given the unassuming location. Tons of options for pour overs— I got a Kenyan that was exceptional. My partner ordered an espresso and a drip and was particularly impressed with the espresso (we’ve been back for drip a few times and have been happy with it every time). We’re just in town for the week visiting my grandma, but this will definitely be our go-to coffee spot whenever we come to see her!Also worth noting that all the baristas have been really friendly and seem like cool people. :)

Highly impressed with every aspect about Dark Moon. The barista was helpful at explaining the menu as I had never been there before, and was very kind. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The decor is unique and edgy, and most importantly the iced chocolate latte was delicious! I can hardly wait to come back.

Dark Moon Coffee Roasters is amazing. First time in and it was impressive. Nitro cold brew on tap yes please. Pricing is consistent with other coffee shops.What stands out is the amazing service.They explained the entire menu so we could be well informed.Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Interior and design look good. Its clean and it has unique look. However I got dubble shot of espresso which came in a bit bigger glass. I personally prefer a cup and less amount of coffee in double shot. Keep on with a good work!

Dark Moon Coffee Roasters is a great new coffee spot that is too far away from where my husband and I live, but we will still manage to get our fix.Located on Eastern Avenue close to Anthem, Ive been here twice now and its definitely worth the drive.  The guys whove waited on us are coffee experts with barista experience from other reputable coffee spots that we also frequent in Las Vegas.  The space is nicely decorated and there is ample seating; Im a fan of the long, low counter where you can see your order being made as well as the homage to Pulp Fiction near the bathrooms.  Pastries sold are from Craft Kitchen (score!) and 50% off with Yelp check-in.  There is also tea, beer, wine, and kombucha for sale.  Hours are 7am-7pm, Monday-Saturday, and 7am-5pm on Sundays.  Excellent addition to Eastern Avenue!

Short of not making iced pour overs I think Dark Moon is practically perfect.Thoughts: Still day 2 (though we came back on day 3 twice), and stop number 8 on our coffee, food, and desert tour. Dark Moon was our post lunch coffee stop and blew us away. We’d already been to several great coffee shops but Dark Moon took it to a whole new level. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through the process and tasting notes for several of the beans, explaining their favorites and why they were their favorites. Later, while we were sitting and getting some work done, we even overhead one of the barista’s walking a group of people through their entire process of brewing a pour over as he did it. I’ve never seen that done at a cafe before, and it didn’t seem like it was a chore for him at all. The staff of Dark Moon seem to genuinely love coffee and want all their customers to love it too (I’m on team love coffee if it isn’t obvious).While on this trip we only tried a pour over, during the course of our visits we had an espresso and tonic, two other pour overs, this insane smoked blueberry magical potion drink, and a cappuccino. The only one that wasn’t some the best coffee I’d ever had was the cappuccino, the espresso was a little dark for my tasted and didn’t have a depth of flavor that I’ve had in some other places. Everything is was ridiculously good, the pour overs all had their own unique, complex flavors, you knew that you were drinking a different cup of coffee each time. The espresso and tonic was a drink I had never tried before and is now one of my new favorites. It’s a crazy mix of tangy bitterness from the tonic and punch from the espresso. It’s honestly a bit hard to describe but it’s an amazing drink that I would highly recommend you try, unless you just don’t like tonic water. The blueberry drink thing was more alchemy that coffee I think. It involved smoking a glass, mint, blueberries, espresso (duh), and some other things I think? While it would never really replace my go to coffee it was an incredibly unique coffee experience.Honestly I think you can really only get this level of greatness at a coffee shop with an intense level of care and commitment to your craft, and Dark Moon drips care and commitment. You feel it when you walk in and talk to the staff, and you taste it in every sip of coffee. Dark Moon isn’t just the best cafe and roaster I visited in Vegas, it’s one of the best coffee shops I have every been to, and I’ve been to a lot.Anyone that can get to Dark Moon should, even if you don’t like coffee, if given the chance they might just change your mind.Dark Moon, you are truly masters of your craft and I applaud your commitment to excellence and care….at least I would if I wasn’t clutching a cup of your delicious coffee.

Mediocre coffee at best. We tried 2 different coffees (pour over and batch) and they both were very acidic and you cant even taste the taste hints which they so much advertise.Also, since they are trying to make sure you taste these imaginary hints, they wont allow you to put cream or sugar in your pour over. Literally, I was told no you cant for asking to put cream and sugar there.Why not 1 star? The place from inside was nice and they have a chess set.

My favorite place for coffee in Las Vegas area. I live 20 plus minutes away and will continue to visit even when I don’t have errands nearby. The staff is kind and polite and more importantly, knowledgeable about coffee!! I have purchased many bags of coffee from here and each one has been unique and delicious. Its easy to select from the many varieties with their recommendations. It’s so refreshing to have a roaster here that is focusing on perfection. I’ve also ordered lattes to go and they are superb. They have growlers of beer too!

Friendly staff, their Dark Moon beans are very good. Tried their lunar roast and purchased their Papua New Guinea to brew at home.Their Papua New Guinea brews up as a very nice Americano at home. Excellent flavor profile.

Pretty nice place! Coffee was good, I was hoping for a Sumatra bean, but the Honduras the barista recommended was pleasant. The presentation of the coffee is very cute and a good experience!

Coffee here is tasty and a good selection of beers as well, but the real hidden gem is the hand soap that they use in the bathroom. It smells so nice, I can’t get enough of it. I go to this coffee shop probably between 75-100 times a day just to use their bathroom, highly recommend!

Best coffee shop in the area. Great staff, very knowledgeable. I’ve tried all the coffees they have on rotation right now-all great selections. They roast beans themselves which is awesome (some shops rely on other places to roast their beans for them). They sell bags of their roasts also if you brew at home. The cold brews are great, and they even have some good craft beers on tap.

This place is amazing! The vibe is wonderful, the coffee and drink options are really delicious, and the staff are so friendly. Its a great place to meet with friends or post up and get work done for a few hours. Im so pleased that I stumbled upon it in a random google search for coffee shops near me. I highly recommend their Mexico pour-over, Meyer lemon iced tea, and their kombucha. Cant wait to get back over there and try their new fun drinks, too!

Love it here, they have oat milk which I LOVE, great atmosphere, especially if you need to study. Maybe not the best for group studying since tables are a tad small BUT definitely a good place to work otherwise. Im not even done eating and I feel wrong for not giving this place a review sooner. Hands down the best coffee you can get, the Mexican pour over is something you tell people about, smooths and rich in flavor. Customer service was great and the cashier was very informative and carried a very pleasant tone in their speech.

Dark moon was clean and tidy with a nice vibe to the place. I went in to buy fresh roasted coffee beans and the barista took his time to help me figure out the best roast for my personal tastes. He even allowed me to taste the roast I had been contemplating which is crucial for somebody like me. 5 stars check this place out!

I should be posting more about this place. Im a coffee fanatic on a level somewhere near insanity. Ive spoken with the baristas at length, who are as passionate as myself about finding the best stuff and roasting it to perfection. Ive had the richest, most enjoyable espressos of my life here. I love the other local roasters as well, but this is a step above them all.

My barista was super knowledgeable and was able to take the only thing I know about my personal preference for coffee (No acidity please!) into a wonderful recommendation! I loved the variety and ability to try new things. Amazing coffee shop and I plan on coming back every time Im in town.P.S. The cronut holes were delicious.

My mind is blown! I am very particular with my coffee and how my drinks are made. I gave up on ever finding good coffee in Vegas until this place! They dont burn the milk, their ice drinks are not too sweet or bitter, and their espresso is very smooth. On top of that, the place just has a nice vibe and environment. Give it a try, it wont disappoint.

Truly delicious coffee! Take your time and enjoy a fresh poor over. Its a good place to sit and relax by yourself or with friends. They also have a selection of beer on tap and a few baked goods from Craft Kitchen.

Great environment, great customer service, all baristas have a passion for the art of making coffee, chill beats, nice area/part of town, presentation on point, and good tasting coffee. Great Coffee and serious coffee enthusiast barristas. Not giving 5 stars because its busy. Good for them but the tables are filled not with customers. Its the same old story of people studying or working. Some not even with a coffee as they occupy a table. I want a European cafe experience. Not a public library one.
