I drove past this store every day on my way home from work for years. Finally one day I told my wife to pull over because I had to check them out. THANK GOODNESS I did!!!! I fell in love with the store instantly. The moment we walked in I felt so welcomed and at home. I love reading and have been wanting to build my home library for so long but the cost of books is usually too hefty for my wants/budget. The prices here were so great I actually took the plunge and started to do it. Ive lost count of how many books Ive already ordered and picked up from Wendy and Jon. I ordered a few to start and then I just started making lists of 6+ pages. I recently dropped off my third list. Not only do I love the prices for the books, but I love how Wendy has a standard for the books she buys for me and if she is not happy with the condition of the book she gets me a new one right away. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Whatever book you are looking for Wendy can find it for you. She is magical. I dont think Ill ever set foot in a Barns & Nobel again.

Honestly love this place, theres basically no books stores like this left in Henderson or Vegas. The owners are awesome, lovely people. And the staff is great help and service every time. I got some books from here and will continue to do so, I will always try to get a book I want here 1st before anywhere else. This place we need to help with being a customer and being a supporting neighbor. I live in Henderson and I want to support a local shop. You guys keep doing what you are doing because it’s incredible and I love it!

This was the best bookstore I have ever stepped foot in!The young gentlemen quickly assisted me and pointed me in the correct direction of where my books were located. He explained the shelving layout, where the prices were listed and that they were having a 40% off sale!At checkout I had a very nice conversation with the owner about my new residency in Henderson and she gave me several tourist destinations around the area. She also explained how her store features local artists, which is very telling of her connection with her community!I bought several books, the prices were very budget friendly and well cared for. I will definitely be back!

Theres nothing quite like a used bookstore! Friendly atmosphere and nice layout with sections clearly marked. They also have a huge warehouse to stock from. Dont have it? Most likely theyll be able to track it down for you. Its worth a visit if youre a book lover or need a gift for someone who is.

Wendy and Anthony are very helpful and have put together an impressive book store that is very clean and welcoming. Wendy has assembled a network of book locators that if given time she can find almost any book. They have a very impressive inventory of books both in their store and their warehouse. If you like books stop by and check them out.

You never know what you will find at Copper Cat! Today I picked up an antique French grammar book; when I got home I found an ominous message written inside: Beware you villain...This book is mine and all for me. Who touches this book shall quickly learn how it feels, in Hades, to fry and burn. So far nothing has happened to me, but I will update this review if I experience any paranormal phenomena or bad luck.

Cute little book store, I was able to find a couple newer popular books in good condition for a good price. They can also order second hand books for you if you dont see them in store.

Very knowledgeable, kind and inquisitive owners! My boyfriend was having trouble finding a particular book and they cheerfully ordered it for him. Lots of Harry Potter gifts and books, other wonderful gift ideas scattered amongst the books. Great selection including some rare pieces. Wonderful sitting areas, very warm & welcoming. Absolutely AWESOME bookstore, the owners can and will find almost ANYTHING you are looking for. Ask to see the weird section, or browse their extensive and respectable collection of original works from local authors. While youre here, check out the terrific collection of local art, and relax on the couch for some light reading. One of my favorite places in all the Greater Vegas area.

Went into this store for the first time last week. I was searching for two books, one which Amazon had shipped all the way to Vegas and then it disappeared. I needed it before could reorder. The bookstore had this book in very good shape for less than what I paid at Amazon for a used book. They also found the other book, an autobiography, which had been out of print since 1972. Woohoo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything there is in great shape with wonderful prices.

Copper Cat books is one of my favorite places in Las Vegas. Its an independent bookstore owned and managed by Wendy and Anthony, two very knowledgeable people. They also have access to a wide variety of hard to find books. I highly recommend the store .

What a great find! We were driving by on a Saturday night after dinner and they’re open sign lured me in. I joked with my husband saying they probably just have Agatha Christie books. We walked up to the glass doors the first thing I saw was a notice that they had an Agatha Christie collection! This place is like something I’d expect in Burlington, Vermont. Cozy, friendly used books with friendly owners who look like book readers and cat lovers. They have a little bit of everything and I wonder if maybe some of their business isn’t done online because I wonder who locally buys used books on a regular basis.It’s great to see a little shop like this in the area. They have a little bit of everything but you might want to call ahead if there’s a title that you specifically are seeking before you make the drive down there. Otherwise, if you miss the days of hours in a book or record shop perusing the shelves, give this place a try.

Super helpful. One employee found books on a topic on the shelves and another found a site online with some very interesting, new information about a subject. And the characters in that store werent just on the shelves. Very cool experience

Now this is a really nice bookstore! The prices are not high and the owners are kind! I will definitely come back here again. And they have a website if you are looking for a specific book just type it in there. The have a cat there too but didnt see it during my first visit. I hope to see it next time because I love cats! 😊❤

First time going in. We were told the different areas of the store. The owner was very helpful.

Always friendly staff. I gave them a list of 15 or so books and they were able to produce each book even over time. They never gave up and were very polite about my pick up times. Thank you. Also, a great place to browse and sit in the cool air and enjoy a book right there in the store.

Two have my favorite things combined! I love to read and I typically have a cat curled in my lap or beside me while I am. So being able to go to a book store and seeing a feline friend there is fun. Plus those who work there are really sweet and know who their customers are. When I was browsing the books I would here snippets of conversations that the employees would be having with the customers. It was all positive. They knew their customers names, the type of books they like to read etc. Overall very friendly atmosphere!

Very cute place. Family run and everything looks great. They have book signing and other events, and you are always welcome to read books before you buy them. They also sell nifty trinkets and very lovely soaps that I keep ending up buying. Fair pricing on books, and every shelf is labeled on genre. They accept donations too, which is great for if you have a bunch of books at home that you have to get rid of.

This is a terrific bookstore and also the only one south of the 215. If you want to keep book stores alive, please consider buying from them. The owners are so friendly and helpful. Also, the organization of the books is very well done. I was surprised to find some old star trek episode manuscripts. That was really cool.

My new favorite book store! They had such a great selection of books, and some neat merchandise of different kinds. The owners are super sweet and made us feel very welcome. And they are fellow cat lovers! Definitely recommend checking this place out. :)

A cute, little, used bookstore. The owners are friendly and are happy to talk about books and give recommendations. I wish it were a bit larger and the owners even said they have many books that they wish they could put out on display, as there is a lot in storage and not enough room. Unfortunately, they dont take trade because their book overload. However, there are still plenty of books to buy and they do book signings with local authors. They also have a couple of collections of older, leather bound books. It is also really well positioned in Henderson, as all the other used bookstores in the area are a far drive if you live in Henderson.

I walked in after noticing that Dilbert the cat was in the store today, my girlfriend and her god-daughter loved the ability to interact with a wonderful handsome cat. Not going to lie, spent some time with Dilbert myself. The man, who was watching over the very neatly organized storefront, and myself had good conversations of literature as I looked through the selection of gently used books. Awesome experience if you benefit from literature like myself!

This is the most amazing book store in the area. I have been looking for a specific book for well over 20 years but had no idea the name of the book. After explaining the book to Wendy, she went on a hunt and a week later she called to tell me she has the book. Passionate book store owners make my day and this is what you get at this store !

I love this store! The book selection is fantastic and they have a lot of unique books and knick knacks for book lovers. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended things for everyone in the family and have even let our son come in and do some volunteer hours for school! Ill be a regular customer here.

Exactly what you want in a real bookstore. I called on Thursday trying to find a book published in the early 60s and by Sat afternoon I had two beautiful copies 2 choose from both at a great price. Best used bookstore in Las Vegas and Henderson.

We stopped by to check out this used bookstore-- what a treat! They have a nice selection of used books, and some pretty cool gift items for the readers in your life.The store has some comfy reading areas, including one with a fireplace in the back. One of the owners was there when we went, and he was very friendly. I cant wait to go back and really go through their stacks!

Very mom and pop kind of place. They have both used books and affordable new books as well as a small selection of fandom paraphernalia. Sometimes they have a resident cat in store. They also have local authors come by for events. Im pretty sure they are the only used book store in Henderson, so I really hope to see them grow.
