My AC went out on my Ford Escape. My husband and I had gone into another shop and they couldnt get my car in until the following week, which i could not do in this heat. So we decided to try AAMCO. Kenny was super friendly and professional and got my car in the same day. Kenny originally told me my car would be ready the following day but they ended up fixing my AC and completing the work the same day. They were upfront and honest. I will definitely go back for future repairs and would recommend them to anyone. Fantastic customer service in a time when good customer service is practically extinct.

We brought my 2007 C230 in this morning to get a quote on repairing the transmission. Kenny was courteous and professional. And even though my car has a certain type of transmission AAMCO doesn’t work on, he still did a complimentary scan for us and even recommended a shop that specializes in European vehicles that can work on my particular transmission. Kenny is the man. Great customer service and professional. I had my transmission replaced in September and he personally wanted to reinspect my vehicle a few days after the work was done.Fast forward to May, unfortunately my reverse gear started slipping. Being under warranty, I brought my vehicle to an AAMCO in California. Fast, fair priced service with great mechanics and a father/son team! Got my clutch replaced for 500 less than every other quote and once they started the work, it was done in about 5 hours.

Kenny was super helpful told me I could drop off my truck over the weekend and hed reach out first thing Monday morning and he did and had it back to me the next morning. So I made the appointment to have my engine light checked out cause the Durango was shutting off while driving 😳 Kenny’s team was fast and knowledgeable!! But most importantly HONEST!!!!! They spent all the time necessary to find the real reason this was happing. They didn’t lie to me about what needed to be done as I would have had no clue and just needed to get back on the road. The only place I’ll ever go for transmission work. I was towing from Salt Lake to San Diego and had transmission issues just south of Vegas. Kenny got me in first thing in the morning, had parts ordered and got me fixed up within a few hours. Kenny understood the situation I was in and went out of his way to make sure I could get back on the road as soon as possible. He easily could have said no and it would have been perfectly reasonable. Not to mention they did it all at a great price. I can’t thank these guys enough.

Is there such a thing as an awesome car repair? Yes, and the AAMCO in Henderson is the place. Kenny, front store manager was beyond helpful. He explained clearly what was needed, the when and how. He was the best. When I picked up my car, I got to meet the store owner - who was just as helpful and professional. I would not take my car to any other service store.

I had my 2009 Dodge Ram 100K mile transmission service done here on 06/2019 at 96K miles. 09/2020 The transmission went out on my truck and I had it towed to my mechanic located in Green Valley, a certified shop. They pulled the transmission and found the transmission filter fell off and was sitting in the pan which caused the damage. The transmission had to be rebuilt and it was by a certified Mopar Tech, photos available. Upon completion I drove over to Aamco and presented the original Aamco invoice and the repair invoice with the findings to the manager Kenny, Saturday 10/3/2020. He said he would give it to the owner on Monday and he would give me a call. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday no call so I drove over on Thursday 10/8 to the shop. They said the manager was out and I ask that he call me. As I was driving away he called me. He stated that he spoke to the owner and his response is as follows he was not going to call me or discuss the matter stating that their was no evidence. Well there is, he just doesnt want to see it or discuss it.Judging by the comments here most are satisfied and I am happy that you are. We are reasonable and all we ask is to meet, discuss the problem and resolve the issue. Right now the shops integrity is showing. Own your mistake and let resolve the issue, its $3,500. If the factory filter stayed on for 10 years and 96,000 miles it is reasonable to expect yours would have lasted more than 13 months. Steven you have my number, just call.

I had my transmission rebuilt twice before I took it to Kenny and AAMCO in Henderson NV. They did a fantastic job and were amazing. They were so helpful and patient with all my questions and even helped me with financing. I would recommend them to everyone.

Brought my 07 motorhome in I thought it was the transmission. Kenny spent a half a day trying to figure it out. Ruled out the transmission wasnt the problem. Did a couple more tests. Couldnt diagnose the problem. Thought it was a sensor got the part r&r wasnt the problem. Refunded the money we had paid for the part and time to put it in. Did not charge us for any diagnostic time WOW unheard of!!!!! The most honest and helpful people we have ever encountered. Also. cared enough to recomend a shop that could help us!Thanks again, Kenny and his staff.

Had a transmission issue diagnosis’s at a different place that recommended these guys. Kenny and Steven both tried to go out of their way to make this an easy process, even setting me up with a rental car reservation. Both these guys are polite and go the extra mile. The transmission rebuild seems to have fixed the issue. They want me to bring it back after 100 miles for a second test drive by them. Great service.

This is the best transmission and general auto repair business in Henderson. Five years ago, I started having transmission trouble with my 2004 sedan. I considered trading it in for a new car, but I liked the car and didnt want a new car payment. Stan, Kenny, and Steven put me back on the road quickly and efficiently, and at a very fair price. I take it back every year for a quick check, and five years later, I am still driving the car and still happy with their service.

I took my Honda Odyssey here when the transmission failed at 72,000 miles. Honda dealership wanted $5500 to replace. This place saved me a couple thousand dollars and rebuilt the transmission, with them claiming it would last longer than the original transmission because of the quality of their work.That was 5 years and 150,000 miles ago and my transmission is still going strong. Thanks guys!

I had my transmission serviced recently and it was a good experience. So last week when my daughter broke down with a bad alternator. I sent her to AAMCO. They replaced the alternator and battery. Charged her $487.32 for the alternator and $329.97 for the battery, plus $154 for labor. The highest prices I could find for these parts were 414.03 for the alternator and $199 for the battery. (Many much cheaper options) By my math that is a mark-up of at least $358.26. When I complained at the shop they wrote me a check for $100. I believe they saw a young inexperienced female customer and took full advantage. I definitely won’t be back.

I had the absolute best experience at the American Pacific location. It was fast, easy and reasonably priced. Kenny alone was very personable and welcoming. I will most definitely be back for all future needs with my vehicles. Thanks so much guys!

AAMCO saved me from getting reap off from another well known auto service shop on Eastern & Warm Springs, I knew my car needed the standard transmission service and the other shop did an hour long inspection and said it needed to be rebuild and quoted me for almost $4000.00 so i decided to get a second opinion. Steve at AAMCO was very nice and explained everything in detail, we dropped the car over the weekend and it was serviced right away the next business day, they didnt find anything alarming in the transmission and they did the standard service the same day, Im so happy for the quality of service they provided and the HONESTY and INTEGRITY of the team. I highly recommend this shop.

I need to have the brake fluid level replaced and they told me it would be a relatively easy fix as well. Great service, great employees

I have been going to this location for more 8 years. From my old beater cars to my brand new cars, these guys always give me the best treatment. I have never felt like they are “out for the money” and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cars. Kenny & Stan have always made sure I understand everything going on with my cars and found me the most cost effective ways to fix any problems. In an industry that sees some of the most dishonest people it’s wonderful to find a place that you know is taking care of you and your property without trying to squeeze every penny out of you. I have brought my car there twice with different problems on separate occasions that other mechanics couldn’t lock down. AAMCO diagnosed the problems and repaired them both! This review is long over due...I have a 2010 Range Rover Sport with only 32,000 miles.Back in October I started having transmissions problems and after 3 visits to Range Rover I was told I needed a new transmission. My factory warranty had just expired and I had purchased an extended warranty. Unfortunately it was not a Range Rover extended warranty . It was a big mistake to purchase a warranty from Direct Buy Auto warranty(Buyer Beware). Direct Buy asked me to take it to AAMCO for a second opinion. I was very reluctant to do but in the end it turned out to be the VERY BEST decision. The staff was very knowledgeable on the Range Rover. Even the Range Rover Dealership said they were really good and said they have sent customers to them. Needless to say Direct Buy warranty company put both myself and AAMCO through the ringer and then refused to cover the repairs. AAMCO was amazing and was able to fix the problem for a fraction of the cost of a new transmission or a rebuilt one. Because of the warranty company my vehicle was in AAMCOS Shop for just over a month. I cannot express how professional, honest and sincere the entire staff at this location was to work with. I had constant updates and knew daily what was going on with my vehicle.Thank you Stan,Jan Duff and Kenny for your top notch service and professionalism. My Rover runs better than it ever has!!! I took my car here for a transmission issue. They tried a bait and switch on me so I took it somewhere else for my transmission repair that was honest. Then I took it back for a driver side tie rod and a knock in the passenger side wheel and a coolant bottle. Well my front drivers wheel has a knock now and they never even fixed the passenger side issue. The coolant bottle was replaced but they bent the brackets and broke my high pressure cruise control lines. Now my cruise control don’t work.Don’t go here. Now I’m affraid to call them back because I don’t think AAMCO at this location will even fix their mistakes.(1 month ago)No in good faith I do not believe your shop is competent enough to fix my car the second time let alone the first time when you were paid to do it. And I still have a coolant leak FYI. Everyone here “seemed” like they knew what they were talking about. Don’t waste your money here people. Hands down the best people at a mechanics shop Ive ever worked with. Truly knowledgeable and very transparent. Highly recommend this shop. Cant say enough about the care and concern that Kenny and Tony gave us working in our motorhome. We rolled in with a warranty issue on a brake and hub from another AAMCO shop, and they went the extra mile, not letting us leave until checking the other hub. This review is overdue but I still wanted to post it. Kenny helped work with me and the warranty company for a car that I just purchased. He let me know what would be covered under the warranty and what wouldn’t and didn’t pressure me into trying to get more stuff done to my car than what was needed. Just had another issue come up so I’ll be calling AAMCO tomorrow because of how helpful they were before.

I had a check engine light on and some places wanted to charge me $100 for a diagnostic read Define doubt what it meant. The people at AAMCO Transmission told me to bring it in and they would checl it out for free. Great guys!

Traveling Phoenix to Washington my a/c was barely working. Made an appt. on the website for the following morning but we arrived in Henderson in the afternoon the day before my appt. The shop was extremely busy but Kenny got my car in 40 minutes before closing. Steven quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and found a leak. Kenny ordered the necessary parts and had us come back the following morning when the parts would arrive. We were back on the road in no time. The work was all performed under warranty as I had just had a complete a/c system installed at AAMCO in Tempe, AZ. AAMCO Tempe is terrible! I will post comments there also. My Honda Pilot broke down 53 miles outside of Las Vegas. Luckily I had it towed to the Henderson AAMCO. Kenny Carter the Center Manager was amazing. My car was repaired exactly when promised, for the quoted price and it runs great. I highly recommend Kenny and team for any car repairs needed.

To my boyfriends horror, I hadnt ever had a transmission service done on my Toyota Tundra, so I called a few places for an estimate. The first independent garage I called quoted $360. The Toyota dealership quoted $320. I then called Aamco, since they are known for being transmission experts. Henderson Aamcos quote was quite a bit less and had great reviews, so I booked an appointment. I was afraid that Id be told an expensive problem was uncovered, but to my surprise, all was well. From start to finish, Kenny and Steve were friendly and professional. I will recommend them to all of my friends and family.

This aamco was excellent. They were nice and friendly the whole time and they had my vehicle ready a lot sooner than I expected. I will go there whenever I have car problems now. Ask for Kenny though. Hes a genius when it comes to transmissions.

They could not find the problem initially; isolated it during the second visit when the Check Engine light illuminated even though DTC (trouble codes) were an unrelated issue. Was quoted $850.00 to $900.00, yet AAMCO on South Valley View quoted me $450.00 all inclusive. I was told the part alone was over $500.00 dollars, yet Auto Zone sells the part (brand new) for $208. When I told them I could understand a price difference of $100.00 (since they are independently owned and operated), I could not pay a $400.00 to $450.00 difference, they offered $550.00 to repair the vehicle. I ran away in a quick hurry. Being in the business of making money doesnt give you the license of gouging your customers.

My transmission went out on my vehicle a couple weeks ago. Kenny, went above and beyond to help my husband & I replace our transmission, getting the BEST warranty. He even went out of his way to come in on his day off, after business hours just so we can finish paying and to release our vehicle. I highly recommend AAMCO on American Pacific.

I was very happy with the service I received at this shop when I got my water pump and thermostat replace on my Tundra. Kenny was great, and I met Stan the owner while I was in there too, he did something extra nice. I highly recommend this place.

By far the worst experience I have ever had. Gave these theives $850.00 to take my trans out and tell me it was gonna cost $3000 to repair it. Naturally I declined and had my truck towed home. Well come to find out they gave it back to me in a hundred pieces. All the nuts and bolts thrown into a box like a friggin jigsaw puzzle. They did not give me my torque converter and the exhaust mount back. When I asked Kenny about it, he proceded to lie and say that my make and model truck does not have an exhaust mount. When I called him out on it and showed him photos of one, he back peddled and said that mine must have dry rotted and fallin off. Sure buddy! Long story short I am not done putting my trans in myself and havent started to find what else they failed to return to me. So I will be contacting the BBB when this is all said and done. My point is, be very careful with these crooks. These reviews are very mis leading. I based my going to them on these reviews. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They were very un truthful from the 3 different quotes I recieved from them to the invoice that I requested that did not list all of the upgrades they were trying to sell me, all the cost was put under labor ($2800 in labor). When asked about the shady invoice Kenny said its because he did not want to add additional lines on the page??? Really? Beware of these guys. I am sure I will be paying them another visit as soon as we find more problems when we install our new trans. I hope not!

Best experience ever if you have to have transmission work done. I took my car in after I had had a horible experience at the Mazda dealership. Kenny took the time to listen to my concerns and after stating he had it fixed we both realized there were more issues going on and he went above and beyond to get it back to me in tip top shape. Great customer service. Kenny kept me updated through out the whole thing. Since the transmission is used there are a few little problems but he reassured me he will order a new one and have me bring my car in when it gets there. Cant say enough good things about him!
