This is a terrible business. Lots of promises and failure to deliver. The work to my car was to take 3 months and ended up nearly two years...!!Shoddy work and no attention to detail. In the end he was found to be unsatisfactory and had judgements against him by the NEVADA courts.

Mike Thaxton and his team are second to none regarding their ability to build amazing automobiles. From engine, suspension, wiring, stereo, interior, to paint, Born Again Restorations is in a league of their own. They have worked on two of our vehicles, including our latest acquisition, a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird tribute. Due to the numerous considerations for this very unique automobile, Born Again Restorations was the only shop we trusted with the build. Highly confident readers of this review will have a similar experience.

Mike knows cars better than anyone and he is professional and personable. People who leave negative reviews on here are fake. This is a very busy shop where real people help real people. Its a hard working locally owned and operated small biz.

He will take you’re money!!! And I do mean a lot. Repair work preformed incorrectly and will not return calls. He got his last dollars from me. Had to hire someone else to finish work they couldn’t seem to done correctly . Service from is less then I expedited and has LOTS of excuses.

Ive called four times trying to get them to work on my Nova. Twice I spoke with someone who was going to get me some pricing. After calling twice more I gave up. Guess they dont need the work.

Michael the owner is unprofessional and dishonest. He was restoring my Road Runner dash for over a year now when I was told 2 months. He doesnt return phone calls or text messages and when he does its weeks later and comes up with another false excuse as to why its not done. A month ago he said it was finished and all he had to do was assemble it and test it...then radio silence...AGAIN, no communication at all after several attempts, very common over the last year. In my opinion the guy is your typical Las Vegas crook. My last text message was to return my very rare irreplaceable dash by this weekend or I will be heading to the DMV and BBB Monday morning to file complaints. Then its off to court with a law suit. My advise if your looking for a professional and legitment restoration shop DONT use Born Again, go to Atomic. Trust me on this one, I randomly ran into someone else with the same issues with Michael. Coincidence? I think not.

THE GUY IS A LIAR. HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOTHING ON YOUR CAR.
