Had a horrible experience on my very first visit. I took my 2020 kia soul in for an oil change the people were friendly but the technician some how managed to spill oil all over the engine bay and down the front of the car.. there was even oil on my sunroof? He didnt mention that fact that there was a mishap filling my car with oil just said ok your all set. Maybe this is a common thing here. I noticed oil all over the hood as I was walking to my car and i was like what the? Opened the hood and couldnt believe the mess I found. From the radiator to wiper tray the entire left side of the engine was covered in oil. I wont be back.

This shop is great, and now my number one go to place! They do great work and they’re super friendly and kind! I’ve heard nothing but great things. They get my oil changes done efficiently and are always willing to work with my own schedule. Carlos has done my oil changes the last few times I’ve come and he really knows his stuff! He has great customer service and so does everyone else there. Best spot in town 100%.

They gave me a great price on new tires, did an oil change, new windshield wipers and checked over my car and took care of everything for me. My headlight covers were so clouded over that my headlights were practically worthless. They cleaned and shined them up better than new! I was astonished! They are professional, courteous, honest and kind. They offer very reasonable prices. This is the first time I have used them....friends had referred me to them. I wont go anywhere else in the future!

I went in for a Smog Cert, I was referred here by another test facility because their test equipment was awaiting repair.I had a an experience that really “floored me”!!!Every person I dealt with was friendly, respectful & courteous beyond belief!! I’ve used this shop several times before for other vehicles I brought him a new Dodge truck and was not consulted prior to the service of what viscosity the check was going to use he assumed I wanted 530 because that’s all they carry he told me and that’s what they put in majority of vehicles which is unacceptable because my Dodge clearly calls for 1030 unless I’m operating it in below freezing temperatures I went back and talk to him and he assured me that would be OK even though I looked in the computer and saw it listed 1030 for temperatures above 32 which in California we clearly are 90% of the time after talking to my buddy Mike who is a mechanic at a local Dodge dealership he assured me that with a truck like mine with higher mileage I absolutely needed to run a heavier viscosity in order to not damage my engine and bearings.So I return to Meineke however there are you close to the day while before 5 o’clock which was interesting so I had to go across the street and have a complete oil changed the same day is doing my service with my Meineke! I planned on stopping by in the next day or two to ask for a refund but this might expedite the process.....

I walked in and talked to Carlos the manager, told him I was moving to Kansas and traveling with my horse and horse trailer.(traveling alone as a single woman). This place has 5 stars because it is well deserved! Went in because we were told we needed to replace an entire oil pan on my Mom’s truck. The mechanic looked at it and said that wasn’t necessary and fixed the “real” problem. No trying to upsell or say you need something you don’t. Honest, friendly and fixed our issue right away. ❗️❗️❗️UPDATE ON REVIEW❗️❗️❗️Took my truck to off-road warehouse today to be aligned and they had no problem doing it in under an hour. NO EXTRA PARTS NEEDED.Meineke in hemet will try to scam you for unnecessary parts and then charge you for nothing. Either that or they are to incompetent to do simple vehicle tasks. They won’t give you a paper of how your alignment should be and how it is now either. Just save your time and money and don’t come here❗️❗️❗️❗️This is a major complaint about this location in specific. Firstly, I made an appointment to get my tires aligned on my vehicle. I was told the wait time would be an hour to get the job done. I agreed and I went to the store while I waited. An hour later I get a call saying that my vehicle is ready to go! When I arrive to the shop they let me know that it cannot be aligned because it needs a camber kit. I then called several big name truck shops such as SoCal super trucks and off-road warehouse. They told me that there’s no possible reason that I should need that kit in my truck. I let meineke know I was not willing to pay because my vehicle did not get the job done that I went to get done. They forced money out of me because of the hour labor that they did. As I’m driving home. My vehicle is much more unaligned than what it was before the visit and there is now a crunch sound in my front driver side suspension. I’m very upset that I had to give this shop money and left with my vehicle worse than what it was before the visit. The front desk tech got very aggressive and angry when I told him that I should not have to pay.

I was buying a used car from a dealership in Hemet which is not a town I am familiar with. I wanted to pay a reliable, reputable, trustworthy mechanic to check out the engine in a car I was considering buying. I called Meineke and they said they could help me. I brought one car over and advice they gave me prompted me to do more research on the car and I ended up not buying it. I feel Meineke helped me avoid what could have been a very costly mistake. I brought a 2nd car to them 10 minutes later and again, they took me right away, did not charge me an arm and a leg (very reasonable price). This time, the engine received a great report so Meineke’s inspection, plus the CarFax and AutoCheck reports helped me make a wise, excellent used car choice. Meineke staff were professional, easy to talk to, friendly, and most of all -knowledgeable and honest.

They were absolutely amazing with my car, as it did not pass smog the first time. But with the help of Carlos he was able to get it to pass. I was only charged the regular smog fee and $10 retest fee. It was well worth the time that was spent. Melissa in the office was very helpful and friendly. Just all around a wonderful experience.

Took my Cruze in to get power window repaired. I did not have appointment, they took my car in right away and got it fixed same day within few hours. Good customer service, good price good work.

Brought in my car for a smog test, I was quoted a fair and reasonable price and estimated time for the work (30 minutes). The total price was what was quoted and the work was completed in 23 minutes. Staff was courteous and made the atmosphere light and less stressful then what bringing your car in for service is usually like. I will definitely be back for future work on my car.

I really want to thank the shop manager Carlos Hurtado in Hemet, CA and his team for their professionalism in servicing and repairing my vehicle.. At first I wasnt sure they would be able to repair my vehicle...I had to leave it overnight. With some ingenuity from Carlos they were able to figure it out and solve the problem. People that take the day off of work because they have to. Have you ever wondered if the person taking the day off doesnt have any free days to go and have their vehicle checked out? I was a customer, I arrived at the shop at the scheduled meeting. This is a review of my experience there, so dont be calling it a hissy-fit. I am only stating the facts of my visit.Response to the owner: I do not know how you claim to know me since this is the first time I tried to take my vehicle, stop making stuff up and let me know upfront that you guys just have poor service.I booked an appointment on Sunday for the following Tuesday. As I arrived and checked in I was told that they were overbooked and to bring my car in another day. I had to take a day off of work to be able to make this appointment. Its not that I booked it the same day or anything, maybe they just dont pay attention to the appointments they have for the coming days. Went to another car center same day and they took me in.

Needed brakes for my husbands car. The front office person, Melissa, was very friendly and efficient. John did our brake inspection and the brake job in a timely manner. Both were very pleasant to deal with. Honest, professional, outstanding service! Thanks John and Melissa!

I had them replace all 3 of my motor mounts which one was a transmission mount as well. Then ive had them do my valve cover gasket and a oil pressure engage switch. I highly recommend them i have never had a issue with my parts or service.

I hate writing negative reviews but, in this case, I feel I must. I had an 8:00am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. After being there over an hour and a half, the work was finally completed. As I was paying I told the guy ringing me up I had a coupon for $15off and showed it to him on my phone. As I was signing the receipt I noticed he hadn’t applied the discount. When I asked him about it, he said he didn’t know how to refund the difference, so I just let it slide. After I left, I stopped at the gas station where I noticed my tires hadn’t been rotated. I called the shop immediately to which they replied they hadn’t done it because they didn’t have a rack available. Funny they didn’t mention it at the time or charge me accordingly. Pretty terrible experience.

I found myself on Sat. morning unable to shut off my vehicle due to faulty ignition switch. I am new to the Beaumont area so searched online & located Meineke open + good reviews. I called and spoke to Nick the shop manager who said come on in & we will fit you in. I was greeted by other very helpful employees. Short time later Nick called around & no ignition switch available. He promptly took apart my dashboard & located the issue. Repaired it with a clever fix and I was on my way at no charge. Needless to say I was extremely impressed and grateful for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you again Nick and folks!

I have been bringing my cars here for years. Must be new management again. I have dealt with new management here a few times and all has been good until yesterday, December 20, 2019. I went I. For an oil change and this is the first time that my tires were not rotated and the air pressure not taken care of, one tire was 34, one was 32 and the other two were 30, I’ve always left there with all tires at 34. Also I have always left with the front floor boards vacuumed and windshield cleaned. Maybe their policy has changed from what it’s been for the last 7-8 years.

Everytime I try and use a coupon they tell me there is so many things wrong my car but the two times in between I went for service my car was perfect. Then on top of that they charge a service free for every little thing. I will not be back.

Had a great experience at Meineke Car Care today I had a 10 oclock appointment showed up at 9:45 am walked in the door was immediately greeted the gentleman was on the phone but took time to acknowledge me said hed be right with me I informed him of my 10 oclock appointment no problem he asked for my keys told me to have a seat and that hed be right with me as soon as his conversation ended on the phone which was about a minute he got me to sign the work requisition and boom they took my car in and I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes no high pressure sales nothing they did make me aware and brought to my attention some issues about my car that should be addressed as soon as possible which I was already aware of but it was nice to know that they were looking out for me . So overall great experience I will definitely be back for my next oil change. Thanks guys!

I called Friday morning and asked if I would be able to make an appointment for a tune-up they said sure can you bring it in within an hour I did I told them that they was misfiring in that I need to tune up so is it okay should be within 2 hours I guess it took a little longer but they finished my car said yes it did need a tune-up and they also let me know that I would need control arms they were really nice and I do recommend I gave them a four-star because it took 4 hours opposed to the two hours but doesnt that they were great everyone was friendly so really it is four and a half Stars

Went in for an AC recharge, got exactly that at a good price and Carlos told me what I could do on my own time to make it perform better without having to go to a shop.

Hemet meineke car care center is the best place anywhere to get your oil, brakes, etc done. Very inexpensive for full synthetic to and they have never gave me any issues getting my oil brakes and ect. done there! Do not bring your car to this location . Originally went in for a oil change. Later received a call that the car needed break fluid change, power steering fluid, and transmission flush. They performed all 4. For a little over 300 bucks. Less then a month later my breaks locked completely vehicle was not drivable. Sure enough there was no break fluid, there was no leaking in my drive way where I normally park my car or anything abnormal. I took it back to the shop the new diagnostic was the break fluid valve needs to be replaced for a cost of 500.00. Or maybe because someone did not due their job right??? So according to them there was nothing that they can do because the break fluid oil was so dirty that things like this happen?? This place sucks!Your company is useless even if we email or call the 800 number there was no resolution period!!! Instead thanks for your feedback really it was a compliant.

I went to this Meineke today to inquire about my ac possibly being recharge. I ask the guy can you take me in now he said yes. So I watch them mess around for a while. Then when the guy finally decided to take my car to the back. I ask Id like to watch the work being done. He said no you cant see it. So I took my business elsewhere. I was really suspicious when he said no I cant watch you do a job that iam paying for. Be aware I would think twice about taking my business here. Obviously they have stuff to hide.

Just went here for a basic oil change. Pulled up went inside, and when they went to drive my car in the garage it wouldnt start. (1st time having this problem with my car) 10 min later they found out it was a $20 part fix. No extra cost! No complaints 😁

Since my last review was removed, im posting a 1 year followup review. I took my car here when i lived in hemet. May 18th i took it in to have the brake pads replaced. While the manager was friendly, an hour later i got a call that not only did my brake pads need to be replaced, but so did my water pump and both axles. I agreed to let them change the break pads and left my car there (it was supposed to be overnight and turned into 4 days) to have the passenger axle fixed. Iwhen i picked my car up i drove away with sqealing breaks, but given i was TOLD that breaks will sqeak a while as they break in i shouldnt worry about it. 2 weeks later i called and said i was concerned that they hadnt stopped sqeaking. I was told they couldnt get me in for 2 more weeks. Frustrated i took my car elsewhere. I had a trusted mechanic look at my car and found out that my brakes had been installed backwards, thus resulting in me driving 2 weeks on them wrong and wearing the rotors wrong. I was shown that there was NO issue with my water pump (still perfect to this day) and that my driver axle was slightly cracked, but still drivable for 3 more months. This shop took $350 from me and i had to pay SOMEONE ELSE to fix my car because this shop would not repair thier own mistake! Now its a year later and my rotors are in need of replacement because i drove on them wrong for 2 weeks and wore them incorrectly because no one at this shop cared to fix their mistake. I contacted corporate TWICE and was told theyd look into, and never received any response. No compensation for their mistake, no offer to fix it... nothing. Now 1 year later i have to pay someone else the money AGAIN to fix my car properly. I am considering contacting the B.A.R. as a result of this negligence. I just want my car to brake safely, and I shouldnt still be chasing this 1 year later. DO NOT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR CAR!
