This is the best place to go for morning pastries, Sweet desserts, quiche and breads!! This is the only bakery I will be going to from now on. I highly recommend this place if you want pastries etc made in house and fresh every morning. I highly recommend this place!!!

One of my favorite every day luxuries is to go to Healdsburg on a crisp morning, get a nice espresso drink and one of their many choices of pastries. You really cant go wrong whatever you order, but I love their sticky buns, scones, and coffee cakes!

A little busy but worth the wait!

Catered the cake for a great wedding years ago. We return for cinnamon buns, apple galettes, lemon tartlets, mocha, and cappuccino, regularly, ever since.

The presentation was lovely but some of the flavor quality didnt meet the expectation of my eyes. Fantastic and fair pricing, especially for Healdsburg.

Local institution with delicious breads, pastries and desserts. Try the famous sticky buns, sour cherry coffee cake or chocolate eclaire. Morning pizzas and ice cream are also good. Founded by two former Chez Panisse pastry chefs. One still remains and runs it with her daughter. Also serves coffee, breakfast items and ice cream. Lines are not unusual but they move fast.

I got a slice of mushroom quiche and an iced latte. Mushrooms definitely were wild and delicious but the quiche was saturated in fat. There was no straws for my iced latte and no tops with sippy cup opening. Coffee was mediocre at best. I had to drive to Safeway to use their bathroom (no bathrooms in Healdsburg, it is a catastrophe!), bought a latte from Starbucks and threw Bakerys coffee in the trash. The salesperson was grumpy and not to thrilled when I asked him to pour my iced coffee into a hot cup so I can drink it in the car.

The Sticky Bun is absolutely amazing! We ate it warm - delicious! The cheese eggs and the breakfast pizza were also very good!Prices increased a little (compared to the menu here).

Been coming since I was a wee little guy. Sticky buns to donut muffins and beyond are some of my favorites. Saturday morning pretzel specials are what my daughter demands when we are near by. 430 half price sale so stock up If you can.

Best Sticky Buns ever!! I moved to Oklahoma a few years ago and every time I come back I buy a dozen and bring them home on the plane and freeze them. Anytime I have something to celebrate, I take one out and reheat it. Such a heavenly taste!! Unfortunately, Im not coming back until December and I finished off my last sticky bun. Ill have to buy two dozen next time!!

Great stuff hands down great coffee. Most of the girls are friendly....but there have been sometimes where the unfriendly service has made me not want to return as frequently as I was coming.....a few people could use a little extra training in customer service. There for not 5 stars but 4

The best breakfast in Healdsburg. Wish it was available all days of the week but the pastries are great when its not. Bread is fantastic and I love that they have a freezer with goodies to take home and bake.

Breakfast sandwich was like something you get in a school cafeteria: stale, sloppy, flavorless, cheap ingredients. The pancakes were burnt on the outside, undercooked on the inside, dense and flat. I’m surprised this place has such good reviews. Service was good and they gave us a refund on the pancakes.

Tried to order a cake- week notice is required- because the bakers are too busy-was not last time we ordered. Bad to tell your customers that you are too busy to help them. Everywhere else is 24 hour notice. Guess they do not want local business. This was repeat business now my repeat business will go elsewhere.

HB used to be a dreamy, sleepy little town with those darn chickens in the Square. Our kids grew up going into this divine bakery.. We would always buy up when going to visit relatives in Hopland. Now the line is out the door. arrive early - worth it.

This bakery has a stand at the ferry building and they pretty much sell out by noon. You cant go wrong with any of their pastries. The donut muffins is the best of both worlds for those indecisive folks. The fruit pockets are always stuffed with the seasonal fruit and never disappoint.For the savory side get the cheddar biscuits.This stand is probably the most affordable compared to the other stands.

I love rustic style breads. The crust, the crumb, the sourdough rye. My favorite. Also pastries, coffee, homemade ice cream! Cozy hangout area on the Plaza.

The breakfast sandwich was greasy and sloppy. Fast food restaurants do a better job. The fig bar was not good. The whole place looked tired, dirty and loud. I advise looking for another place to eat.

Easily one of the best bakeries in the region. Try the peach pastries, bagels, French sourdough, coffees and English muffins. Lively eclectic crowd swoons over shared tables or get it to go and stroll the square.

Cozy, local feel. The eclair was just right (half light custard, half whipped cream). Croissant was pretty good too. Pleasant staff, bit of a late Saturday morning bustle added some fun energy to being there.

Followed my nose to the bakery. Did not expect coffee and certainly did not expect good coffee. Had a cherry pie (they called it cherry ((something French)) that was wonderful. Sitting at the window seats looking out at the park with delicious treats and really good coffee was a moment of heaven.

Very solid sticky bun with nice light and flakey dough. Would recommend for pastries over the French bakery. Also have brunch food but didnt try that so cant vouch but it looked tasty and low key.

Donut muffin is fabulous. Parking is usually an adventure. Not good if you are traveling in a hurry. Line was long but went quickly. I only ordered the muffins so dont know how long a drink would have taken.

We stopped in today on our way to Clearlake.We purchased several items, leaving with a shopping bag full of goodies!I am writing to say that the Apricot-Cherry Gallette that we are enjoying for dessert this evening is AbsolutelyDelicious!!!! The crust is delightful and the apricot and cherry filling is amazing!!! Its so nice when you can count on delicious treats from your wonderful bakery!

Fantastic bakery! Too many good things to list. My favorites are the lemon curd tarts, the very rich chocolate cake, the almond croissants and the focaccia bread rounds. Not to be missed if youre in Healdsburg!

If you want snarky lousy service this is the place to stop. Bad food bad service, if you arent from here dont bother. They definitely do not want your business. Dry dessert unpalatable coffee. Go to the police station if you want to use the restroom. Really?

Weve been coming here for years because their food is really tasty. Unfortunately, today was the last time we ever set foot in the place because they seem to have forgotten what customer service is all about. My wife and I came in for some breakfast, with our 2 year old son, only to be turned away because the line cook didnt feel like making one more breakfast order. The fella to my left had just ordered his and was waiting for what was to be the last order of the day. So we walked down to the Donut Shop a block away, which was happy to serve us a meal, was cheaper, and also delicious. I doubt this review will make the owners of this place reconsider their approach because tourists will continue to come in droves, at least so long as the economy remains on the up-swing and visitors continue to spend money. But what goes up must come down. It remains to be seen whether this place can weather another economic slump when the tourists stop coming, given that they obviously no longer care what their once-loyal customers think.

The line moves quickly and it is nice to eat breakfast or to grab a quick snack and eat it at the plaza witch is right next to the place. The prices are good considering it is Healdsburg and the people are friendly.

Nope, not a good experience for us, I would like to forgive them and remember it being a one-off simple basic mistake, but, being in the food industry ourselves, and expecting something exceptional for such a rated café, in HEALDSBURG, wow, not good, three mistakes. We needed to take away so we could get to a local baseball game, so we got a mocha and a tea and a sausage sandwich or something and a bagel with cream cheese and jelly. Arriving at the game, we eagerly settled into our meal. Wow, no cream cheese on my bagel and the fig jelly was just water, I had to put that aside, mistake 1. The sandwich had so much grease dripping off it we had to put that aside too, mistake 2. At least the drinks were fine, but obviously we went hungry. When the game was over, we returned to the store, explained to them the situation, at least we got our money back, but no apology, no sincere regret or embarrassment, mistake 3. Two stars because it is really a great place inside, there were many other satisfied patrons, our drinks were fine and we got our money back without question.

The best! Everything here is fantastic.

This is a perennial pit stop of mine whenever I find myself in Healdsburg. The various pastries and savory bakery items are all magnificent and quite tempting. However, there is one item above all others that I must have in my vehicle as I head back home and that is....the Volcano. A focaccia bread bun formed around a center of olives, tomatoes, onions, and asiago cheese, its like a calzone on steroids. The sweetness of the tomato, the richness of the cheese,and the briny flavors of the olives all play off each other wonderfully. Its a flavor combination I regularly seek to replicate in my own baking attempts but I must always return to the source for a reality check. Do yourself a favor and grab one next time you are in the area. Word to the wise, focaccia is done ~9:30am and they are usually sold out by 2pm.
