Pump looked (literally) beaten up and wouldnt take my card... went to the Valero down the road.

The attendant was polite, but indicated that thered be a 60¢ fee to use a credit card to buy a coke. A wider range of drinks and no such fee is available further down the road at the Valero, which also has a public toilet.
