I had quite a terrifying emergency with my brakes going out while driving, and was expecting a huge bill as I did some research with other mechanics. Not only did they check in with me right away, they were all very friendly. On top of it, my final bill was quite a bit lower than I was expecting! I had purchased my tires several years ago in Modesto. When one tire developed a slow leak, this was the closest store. I arrived at lunch time and still had my tire fixed and was back on the road in 30 minutes. Great, friendly service!

Big O Tires in Healdsburg is a great business.Ive been going to Big O in Healdsburg for over 25 years. They have always treated me very well.Recently, I had some work done there that didnt go as planned. Work was performed on my car that resulted in a less than satisfactory outcome. Rick and his team acknowledged immediately that there were some errors on their end. No hassling, no blame game stuff. They took responsibility. Rick called me himself, explained the situation, and let me know how they were going to make it right. We came to a deal that I was very satisfied with. 2 days later, my car was back on the road, performing as it should, if not a little better.The mark of a good business is not just getting the job done right. That is expected when you pay for services. The true mark of a good business is how they handle things when the job doesnt go right. Rick handled this situation as best as I could have hoped for. Had a rear wheel cylinder start to go out on the road from Healdsburg to Calistoga last night then totally blew out on the return trip this morning through Alexander Valley. The first shop I saw along Healdsburg Ave. was Big O Tires. I pulled in and to make a long story short, they squeezed me in and had my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan, with 227,712 miles on it, ready to pick up by 1:00 this afternoon. They told me the manager was the one that worked overtime on it. A big shout out to the team at the Healdsburg Big O Tires. I dont usually do this but this time I had to.The first time I went to this place, was to change the tires of my car. I called to make the appointment asked for prices, chose the tires and all that. When I went to to appointment, I asked about the tires, to be sure the brand was correct. The tires were a different brand, but since the price was similar and the brand was a good one, I said Well, its fine. I thought it was a misunderstanding. But, Maybe I should have learned from the first time.The second time, I went for my cars maintenance. Oil chance and everything. Also, they were going to do a diagnostic. So, the car needed some fixing, where I spent A LOT of money. I was told it had a warranty for 1 year. Some months later, there was a problem around where the car was fixed. I called and said what was wrong, they gave me an appointment for 3 days later. When I went to the appointment, I left the car there. Soon, they called me back and told me that the problem was something else and had to take it somewhere else to be fix, because they couldnt fix what they said was wrong. Well, It wast what they told me it was. On my way to the other mechanic, it got worse, good thing I didnt take the freeway. I called to tell them the problem and they insisted it was what they said, which wasnt. They invented every excuse they could. ( I dont doubt that they didnt even check to see what was wrong. When I took the car there, it was in the same place I left it, and when I went back for the car and insisted what I was sure was wrong, they didnt even look just started the car and said what was wrong) I supposed when they did the diagnostic of the car, they were supposed to help fine the problems it had and try to fix it. Thats what I trusted them to do and thats why I took my car for inspection, not to have it going off in the middle of the road months (not even 3 months) later from taking it there. Even if the problem wasnt what they fixed and was something else, they could have take the time to really take a look and if it was something else, I, of course, would had paid for it.If you cant cover the warranty of your products and services at least have the decency to say so or even take the time to see what exactly is wrong. Dont make people waste their time and money.

This was my first time coming to Big O after being in Healdsburg for 3 years. My Husband is a Healdsburg native and when I found a nail in my tire he told me this is where we should go. I was so worried going in, given that I am 9.5 months pregnant and needed quick and reliable service so I was in a safe car again. I was in and out with a tire repair within 20 minutes. The staff (Ms Lynch) were so kind to my daughter and myself in regards to our situation. We will definitely be back and look forward to working with them again in the future when we need them :)

Great service and warranty policy, very friendly staff. Swap the bad Continental tires with the good Michelin’s ones for a Tesla Model X within two days. Very happy about it.

Saved me $250 on parts and a bit on labor over local Toyota Dealer estimate for hub/bearing assembly replacement on my Tacoma. They got the wrong part, but, were able to get me out in about the same time as originally estimated. And, the tech was thorough enough to recommend rotation at no additional charge, after final roadtest, which I appreciated. I would go back for this type of work. Beware of dealer service estimates. Get the full labor and parts breakdown, and do a little research. It can save you hundreds.

I showed up with a flat first thing in the morning and they went to work right away so I could get back on the road. They did a wonderful job on my Tesla flat tire repair. My family and I felt very welcome.

I have been in twice for flat repairs since I bought my new car 3 years ago. Both times the staff there have been entirely friendly and helpful. Im not sure if there has been an ownership change or new staff, but I had been in years before and I can feel the difference when walking through the door (thats not to say it was bad before, just that it is so nice now!). Going to the tire shop can be expensive and painful, but it is a little bit easier knowing you are leaving your vehicle with a team that wants to help. Thank you, Big O, and I wont forget: random acts of kindness. :)

Went in because my tire tread was under 3/32 and they were still covered under the warranty but Rick did not want to help me with that. He was offering me $25 off each tire which seemed low to me and when I called Nitto (the tire brand) customer service they said there was a proper way to calculate my discount but Rick refused to use the formula. I went to America’s Tire and they gave me $67 off each tire. Don’t let Big O scam you. Do your research to make sure you get the maximum discount.

For over 8 years Big O Tires in Healdsburg has been my go to place with my own car guys, Morgan and Danny. I am a single woman who lives in a rugged nearly 4 wheel drive area, but owns a Honda Civic. For maintenance and every repair need, ( including emergency breakdown ) they have been there for me, and their professionalism, excellent work, and family-owned atmosphere is solid and totally reliable.

I bought a set of Michelin tires here for my BMW and Big O was the best price for high speed tires----I looked on line, I checked Costco, Americas Tires, independent shops------EVERYWHERE! AND Big O in Healdsburg gave me the best price. You might thats pretty good, but it gets better---because their service and expertise cannot be matched, anywhere. I know this because they have sold me tires and worked on all my cars, so why am I checking prices at all these other places? Good question, I guess Im either an annal nerd or I have Obsessive Compulsive disorder. I think Im gonna give myself a mental health day and go to the damn gym next time instead of checking prices. Its like they are willing to make my day great so from now on, they can just do it without me interfering -----Resistance is Futile, my car business will be assimilated

My elderly mom and I were out for a drive and had a tire blowout. Because of the type of vehicle and nature of the blowout, the car had to be towed. We ended up at Big O on Healdsburg Ave (cross street is Monte Vista). They took the car immediately and patched the hole. It took a little over an hour as they were quite busy. Various staff went by to get coffee and use the facilities and everyone of them smiled and said hello and most chatted for a few seconds. When the car was ready, Rick, the manager, came and told us we were good to go. All it cost was a handshake and a smile. Wow, we were not expecting that at all.If you need Auto Service, I would seriously consider a place with such excellent service, kindness, and a place where all the staff seemed happy to be working there.

Wasnt impressed withe tire guys. Got two new tires thete and they just threw my spare in the trunk on top of everything.

Unfortunately I havent had the best experience here. Time and time again Ive tried to swallow my concerns and return to support this local spot as the people there are incredibly nice, but the work has been shotty and my family has had the same issues - incomplete jobs, having to return less than a day later for work that should have been taken care of or communicated during payment. Frustrating. Will probably give Big O one more shot...

Buy Big O tires and free tire fixes, balancing and rotation plus replace if damaged in road hazard. Can sit and drink coffee or soda or eat chips all in the waiting area. They have even given me a ride home if there is not enough time to finish the work.

I have bought tires here for the last 8 years, it used to be a place that i knew i could trust, fair prices. good work, and honest. Not anymore. Place is gone totally other direction. Now i cant get the price i get quoted (told me they must have lost it dont know who i talked to) and tried to get me to have work done and pay very high prices for things that were not even needed and certainly nothing I asked for. They also did crappy work that i had to have re worked, ( they wouldnt even return my calls when i confronted them about it.) ill never patronize again.

Good place in healdsburg. They have a nice waiting room with beverages and toys for children and magazines. Parking can get a little crowded but other than that this is my go to spot for my car. They also do lyft and uber inspections not to mention the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.

My car had been gone through, things were missing, my gas was completely gone, and they over charged me for my breaks which failed and I got into a serious accident. Dont go here, they are not trust worthy- this was the worst service I have ever had.

This place is amazing, between the exceptional service and the fact that its locally owned I will never take my car anywhere else. Every time I come in, they are prompt and friendly and always do exactly what they say theyre going to do, in the time that they say they will do it, and for reasonable prices.

Only place to get a LYFT inspection done so had to go. after 30 min I was told I needed to buy new 900$ tires or my inspection would not pass blackmailing me to pay or be denied working for LYFT. meanwhile 2 weeks prior my UBER inspection was perfect. this is a very bad place and being a local will let the area know. as well as the BBB.

Ive used Big O alot since moving to Healdsburg a few years ago. Having a well maintained and operational vehicle is imperative to me because I drive professionally for Uber during the summer. I also pride myself on being able to do minor repairs and oil changes. When I have been stumped or dont have the tools to do a job, however, Big O has consistently teamed with me to find the solution and get the job done. Everything from replacing an alternator to rack and pinion steering assembly they have handled with care and precision. They can get busy at times which makes it take longer to get a vehicle back but Rick and the folks there communicate with you to keep you updated as to when you can expect your service to be completed. Thank you Mark and all of you at Big O for helping keep me on the road so people can get where they need to go!

Poor service on weekends. Saturday morning and couldnt balance a single tire for me until Monday. Lost a wheel weight. None of the weights they put on fit well. Also, I should have not bought their cheap china tires. Prices have been getting outragous though. I guess they think youre trapped to Healdsburg. Check your local Walmart for better service, sad. They just lost a 20 year customer and 4+ cars.

Terrible I paid $480 for a tow to there shop for my camper I had called the day previous and talked to not one but two people on the phone told them exactly what I wanted done on the phone the technician was literally excited to work on it when I showed up to drop off my keys and get paperwork they told me they had no idea why I was there and that I was SOL
