This morning I got into my Honda Civic after months of no use and found that the windshield had a long crack in it from something apparently falling on in. I immediately went on-line and contacted the famous _ _ _ _ lite company that comes to your home or work and replaces the glass. They quoted me a price just under $400 (w/o tax) and said their first opening would be 7/12, 10 days from now. I then contacted BAY AREA AUTO GLASS DEPOT in Hayward and OMAR the Manager got right back to me. He checked to see if they had the Honda windshield in stock and as soon as he confirmed it, he said I could bring the car over and get it installed right away. I did not know where they were located at that point, but I was delighted to find that they were less than a mile away. I took the car over and immediately LUIS began the removal and installation of my new windshield. They were prompt, professional and best of all, the entire job cost me $217 out-the-door! Way better price and service than the _ _ _ _lite company. In fact, I was so impressed with their work that I got a quote to replace my rear window (with imbedded defroster and tint) next week. AGAIN, A GREAT PRICE! I am so glad I found BAY AREA AUTO GLASS DEPOT. I will return next week for my new rear window. I definitely recommend this company.

Bay Area Auto Glass Depot.. spectacular phone service even when trying to call they were very informative. I was able to get my driver side window prepared immediately same day service. Customer service is very friendly. Prince the manager was very helpful Kiki the associate was just as helpful and the two people that did my window Caesar and Martin did it expeditiously I was in and out had a great price if you ever have someone analyze your car trying to break in because I think you have something in it this is the place to go to get it replaced on my insurance

These folks give excellent service at a great price. Angel, the field tech is very courteous, knowledgeable, and skilled. He took the time to take apart the rear hatchback door and get all the glass out from where you and I cant see it, made sure the rear window defrost worked, and vacuum the car. Prince, in the office, is also courteous and efficient. They came to my workplace in San Francisco on the day I called. They were 40% cheaper than the national chain with the memorable jingle on TV.

Prince is one of the people that assist you when you first call. He is a truly knowledgeable person within his industry. He gives you different options of service that you could choose from and is very patient with any questions you may have. Armando is one of the employees that drive out to you and actually service your vehicle. He is a meticulous worker and gets the job done in a quick, proper manner. Both of these gentlemen were polite as possible and answered every question I had. Was passing through the bay area on a country wide road trip when something impacted my side window. I called around to a few places and nobody could find the glass today, Omar and the Bay Area Glass crew got me right in, got it replaced and back on my way ...and they even tinted the window for me. I cannot recommend them enough.

Brought my car in the same day I called since Prince was able to fit me in. Was told to bring it in at 2 and it would be ready the same day to replace the windshield. Dropped the car off and was told it would about 45 minutes to and hour. Waited for a call to pick it up. Realized it was 5:05pm and no one called. I called and was told I would get a call right back. Waited for a bit and called again because I didn’t want to risk not being able to pick it up that day. No one answered. I drove down anyway and was told Prince was not in but would be back “soon”. We waited and was finally able to pay. A little irritated, I paid and left. I realize on the way home, there a scratches on my dash that we’re not there before and a greasy boot print on my passenger front seat and greasy handprints inside on the frame. I called as soon as I get home and no one answers. I called the next morning and was told Prince is not in until Monday but they would tell him and they would talk to the Techs. Monday I call and Prince tells me his guys have been doing this a long time and gave them impression that he doubted what I was reporting. Because I attempted to clean up the grease to avoid it sitting, I was told there was no proof and nothing he could do. Was also told they use OEM parts and I found out later that was false.

I came early when this establishment just opened and Ki Ki was very helpful with the minor issue that I had with my windshield. He literally made my day. I would recommend this place for sure!

My windshield was cracked and needed to be replaced.Prince had exceptional service and a quick response.I didnt go through my insurance company but had a quick windshield replacement. Pricing was competitive and nearly 40-45% cheaper than Safetlite Auto Glass Company. Princes technician came to my site and finished installation in 45 minutes.I highly recommend!

I called a bunch of other “big name” “same day” mobile autoglass repair guys and non of them had appointment for the same day. “Speedy Glass”s person on the phone was actually sarcastic that i was asking for the same day service. But these guys, when I called even though they were busy, gave me an appointment for the same day, came to my work in a couple of hours and replaced the windshield in 2 minutes...this is what a good service means. I received wonderful service from the time I called at 8 am when Bay Area Auto Glass opened. Sid found the one window I needed in stock and set the appointment in motion. The installer David was wonderful. He called and gave me a 1 hour window of time of arrival, was prompt, professional and cleaned up the window area and even vacuumed up the broken glass on the floor. Got a windshield replaced on a 2018 vehicle due to a crack @ 359.99 - This is what I got:A dirty as hell windshield with gunk everywhere. Windshield Rain Sensor no longer works - most likely because they used the wrong density of glass, but it could have been installed improperly also. 4 Individual scratches across the left side of my car. 2 scratches on the right side of my car. 2 on the roof. 2 pieces of plastic removed unnecessarily that now stick out. He used the plastic rails as stool, and complete bent the plastic (which now protrude).They called me trying to DOUBLE CHARGE ME. Requesting payment again claiming they didnt receive my first payment. I had proof on my end via online banking that the money had been taken out.Overall:This is a terrible service company and Im livid about the quality of work I received for the price I paid. Screw this place.

These guys beat the price of other replacement shops. They came to my house and no waiting for them to order the window as my car is a 2000 BMW. I got same day service and didn’t have to take risk driving with plastic on the window. Great service! Professional and they even fixed a bent Moulding that was unrelated to the damage. Highly recommend them.

Had my front windshield broken by a crazy guy while my husband was having heart surgery at Summit, horrible day to say the least. I called several companies, including the big one with all the ads on tv, and was giving outrageous quotes and 3 or more days of waiting. So refreshing when i called these guys, he came to my home 2 hours later, and 30 mins or less he was done. Ive never had trouble with leaking, and couldnt recommend more!

I am so impressed with the level of service I received with this company! Went there to change my windshield. The work caused water leak into dashboard and damage other electricity parts. It caused me more than thousand dollars to fix it. Called the store to ask for warranty. They just kept telling me they changed owner. They bought the bussiness but did not take any liability from previous owner. However, they continued to use the same business name. Iasked to talk to the owner Roger. But never got a response. So please be careful if you going there.

We had a broken rear minivan window. They came out a repaired it. The repair took about an hour which was less than expected. No complaints and quick, responsive service.
