Just needed to drop off an already labeled box. It was ready to ship. I Arrived at the store at 2:30 on Saturday to just drop it off and the door was locked. There were 2 ladies that were still in the store by the register and refused to open the door. All I needed to do was drop it off. I understand that it closes at 2:30 but dang. She acted like she’s never been late to anything before in her life. Does she even arrive to work on time?
Charged $50 storage fee for an empty box. My property (worth $600) had been stolen from the box. I was told that only corporate could refund the storage. This was a lie. Im also not convinced the box was empty when it arrived at this location. Be warned.
Dont make the same mistake that I made. For example, if you are a truck driver who gave up his Thanksgiving days off in order to deliver much needed medical supplies to Gulfport, Wiggins and Hattiesburg. If you were delayed at your final delivery to a medical facility in Hattiesburg. If you called the UPS store where you have been a customer for over 6 years. If you explain your situation and ask the clerk to wait an extra 5 minutes so that you can pickup your replacement part for your diabetes treatment machine. If the clerk tell you yes she will wait. Dont make the mistake i made of being surprised that she lied and locked the door when you arrived at 2:33pm, only 3 minutes after they closed. Dont be surprised like I was to see the clerks looking at you but still refusing to acknowledge that you are knocking on the door trying to get their attention. Dont be surprised when they exit through a side door and one of the clerks begins shouting at you for asking if she was able to give you the package that she promised to give you when you called.Dont be surprised that although you have been a faithful customer for over six years and through two owners, that no one here had enough enough heart and compassion to stay a little longer and sow a 5 minute seed into your life and situation. You will be greatly disappointed as I was for thinking that everyone has the same heart and compassion as the truck driver who gave up his Thanksgiving time off to help his home state and community by delivering much needed medical supplies, only to, in the end, not be able to get his own medical supplies.
Went in JUST to get an estimate on shipping cost for an already boxed item. I told the lady that I couldnt ship it from their store because it contained small arms ammunition and I knew it had to be shipped from the actual UPS Operations Center cross town. When I told her that, she looked at me like I asked her to solve a calculus problem and said she couldnt help me because I would have to get the shipping costs at UPS (they were only a franchise!?). I guess I made my mistake when I told her it contained ammunition, thats when she got flustered. Probably voted for Biden!
No help at all and very rude!!
My father passed away in March. My mom went to this store to have commemorative bookmarks made. The pictures of my dad were really distorted. When I came to visit, I saw them and was shocked that they were made by a business. They were flimsy and a very poor quality. They did send an email asking for her approval. She approved it but thought it was like that because it was on the phone. My brother in law picked the up but didn’t look at them. I thought they would possibly be compassionate and reprint them. I spoke with Alexis and she was very nice. She called the owner and they said they could reprint them but would have to charge her again. I understand you have a business to make money but you could still have a heart and reprint them. I feel certain you wouldn’t be satisfied with them if it was your loved one. So despite paying $80+ for a product for others to remember him, she is still grieving and not thinking clearly. So shame on the owner for having a heart of stone.
I never in my life thought I would actually enjoy going to a UPS store, but the staff here is SO FRIENDLY. They honestly give better customer service than most restaurants in town. Theyre always smiling, joking around with each other. and never make you feel rushed or like youre a hassle. They also are very fast and efficient when handling your mail.
I had an Amazon order shipped here. I called ahead to make sure the price wouldnt be prohibitive. They told me $5 for the 1 box, which seems to be the going rate with UPS Stores. Fine, I placed my order with Amazon. When I picked up my box (within an hour after it was delivered), they charged me $10. I pointed out that Id been quoted $5 and they said that because it wasnt a manager that I talked to it didnt matter what price he quoted me. What the actual heck is that kind of logic? They told me one price and then charged me another.I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because at least they were friendly while they engaged in highway robbery.
Employees do not know what they are doing. I had a packaged mailed for 2 day delivery and turned into week and a half delivery 3 trips to the ups store and several phone calls.Definitely needs better management. Please use other means of shippiing or transportation to save you the trouble.
Seen the same people in here every time I go which is a good sign. Theyre always super friendly and willing to help with any questions/concerns that I have. Better than experiences at other UPS stores.
Called to verify a service offered before visiting the location. Spoke with Alexis on the phone, professional and engaging. Alexis also waited on me at the store - I found her to be enthusiastic, considerate and comfortable in our interaction. Well Done Alexis!
I was suppose to get a package & they said they left it on my front door which is very unprofessional because it was a small package it shouldn’t have been at my door, should’ve been in the mailbox. My grandmother was there all day & there was no package sent to my door.
Never given me any grief. Could hire another employee or two. Have had to wait a while at times. Friendly staff.
My husband sent a certified, return receipt envelope out to the Veterans Administration in Jackson, Mississippi on the 18th of February (this was a federal holiday and we had to utilize the UPS). The individual that assisted my husband put $1.20 on the envelope but charged him $1.97, however with the overall charges being $12.47 and was returned to our home for additional postage on the 21st of February due to the incompetence of the certain individual that couldn’t do her job! Now because of her not doing her job correctly it’s costing my husband, who is a 34 year Army Veteran! This isn’t the first time this has happened with this UPS store, however since the 18th was holiday my husband had to get the envelope into the mail.
Excellent service and courteous workers....had box there for over 10 years and very happy with them!!
Very patient and polite employees at this location.
