They are knowledgeable about there products and the staff are very friendly. The store is very well kept up and clean. If they dont have it they will try to help you get what you need.

Spent a lot of time to find a battery that is from a phone that is 10 years or older. They found it! Very knowledgeable!

Knowledgeable, friendly and so very pleasant. I know they focus on batteries and lighting (They have light bulbs too. Who knew! ), but they also do car remotes. Im sure theres so much more, but I was just so happy to find the battery we needed. Kudos. Love them and will be back.

Store refused my warranty on a two year old battery with “Fully Warranty”for four years. Battery had no damage and came from a fairly new vehicle with no electrical defects. Store manager simply said “it tested at 6.1volts”. Corporate office said nothing they could do as it is a Franchise Store. Go to Sam’s where they warranty with no questions asked. Won’t go back to Batteries Plus. If they only warranty batteries that come in fully charged and reading 12 volts, guess what.....they won’t ever warranty a battery. Fully charged batteries don’t get returned. Buyer beware, batteries purchased here have no warranty.

I came in to get a screen protector put on my phone and Richard not only helped me pick the right thing, but applied it for me and engaged in fun conversation. Excellent customer service even while training a new employee.

What was supposed to be an hour battery replacement turned into an overnight issue. My battery replacement was over 2.5 hours (10am-12:30 pm), and 2 minutes after picking up my phone, a green line appeared on my screen. I turned around and came back in the store. As I was waiting to be seen a second and third line appeared. I left my phone to be checked in case something was in a bind when the cover was replaced. I called to check on the status of my phone at 6:30 pm. The clerk sounded like she forgot about my phone. She had not started and had 2 phones still before me. It would be the next day before someone could look at it when they opened at 10:00am. We called at 10:30 am to check the status of my phone, and the new clerk had checked it, and it was ready. The green lines had disappeared by the time he came in to work. He did not see any new issues. My phone was working as it should when we picked it up the second time. Since I am college faculty and required to remain in contact with students and co-faculty, it was a huge inconvenience to not have my phone for 24 hours. After inspecting my phone, the front screen was separated a bit, and the light shows through the bottom home bar where the white solid area is. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the service. The staff seemed too overwhelmed and inexperienced to provide professional service on devices that cost over $1,000. They need someone dedicated to the counter, so they can provide the tech repair.

The guys here were very friendly, and knew more about lighting than I knew there was to know. There was no hesitation with the answers. I felt 100% confident, and sure, when making my purchase. The 5 years warranty I got on my product was very comforting as well. I will no longer buy lighting, accessories, or batteries from any other store, in the future. I happened to notice this store while driving across town, and I am so happy that I found them!!!

I called the store with questions about replacing batteries for my RV. The only thing I knew for sure was I wanted no maintenance. The young lady who helped me was very knowledgable and went over several battery and price options and was patient with my questions. Eventually she helped me to select the right batteries for my rig and continued to help with the purchase over the internet and called me to insure my batteries were reserved in-store for me.

They told me my phone was broke and even tried to sell me another one. I took it to a reputable phone repair store, and they were able to restore it. It works fine now. The only thing I needed was a new battery. Manager is VERY argumentative and I will NEVER use this place again. VERY dishonest place. I would NEVER recommend this place to a friend or family member!!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves for being so dishonest!!!!!

Im a pretty low key person and few would guess that Im an Atlanta retiree of one of the largest corporations in America. I worked and trained others in customer service during my career. I say all of that to say I can usually spot fair & sincere customer service quickly.I recently cracked my cell phone screen(the first time in at least 25 years of owning a cell p) and my interactions(at least 5) with the employees at Batteries Plus exceeded my expectation(s).The employees at your Hardy Street location both via phone and in person were kind, friendly and knowledgeable.Kudos to the owner and the person who hires the wonderful employees of this store!I appreciate them repairing my cell phone screen in such a timely manner!Sincerely,Pi🙂P.S. Just from my experience trying to seek employment here, Id give it one star. The store owner interviewed me for an Electronics Repair Technician position and said that he would call me back with his decision. That was months ago, and I still havent heard anything. I called multiple times to check, but he was never there and never called me back. The last time I called, some guy from the DIberville store said that when the owner was looking to hire someone, he had a girl that had put in her two weeks notice. However, that girls two weeks notice came, and she decided to stay. Therefore, the manager just decided to not call me back about the position. Then, several weeks later, that same girl finally leaves the store, and instead of the owner calling me and giving me, an Electrical Engineer with years of repair experience, a chance, he had one of the repair technicians from the DIberville store drive everyday to and from Hattiesburg until he found someone else. Just based off of this experience alone, I would say that this place does not put a ton of stock in professionalism. That is not to say that other people have not had a better experience with this company, but in my case, I was shown absolutely no common curiosity.- JW

This was the absolute worst repair service I have ever experienced. Had my screen replaced on my iPhone 7 Plus and when I got it back everything looked fine. The next day I couldn’t hear anything when I recorded videos. Thought it was strange but just kept silent because the price was relatively low. Then I got a phone call me no one could hear me, and I couldn’t hear them. I can’t call or FaceTime on my phone at all!! Don’t know what they did but my phone is ruined. Went in three times after this and told them to look at it again but they refused to fix their issue, even after admitting they had made a mistake, saying that the phone couldn’t be fixed and I would be better off buying a new one. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SCREEN REPAIRS. Don’t know the girls name who “repaired” my phone but she was brown headed. I hope a manager or store owner or someone sees this post!! Your business ruined my phone and you should be ashamed of yourself for letting people who are not properly trained work on customer phones. Is it possible to rate lower than one star?!

My car would not start but I was lucky enough to have purchased a portable charging device from Batteries Plus Bulbs several months ago. Jumped my car off and started to work. Had to jump it off two more times before I finally made it to work. Called Batteries Plus Bulbs and talked to Alejandro. Said it was probably my battery and asked if I could bring it by so they could check it. I told him about how my car died every time I had to stop, so he offered to bring a new battery to me. He even installed it. Wow!!! Dont find service like that now a days. Thank you! Wont buy a car battery from anywhere else!

My battery died, walked about a mile to their store to see if I could rent a charger. They could not. However Noah drove me to my car, got my battery charged after some difficultly due to my battery placement and I was on the road. Impressed with this place!

One of my favorite retail stores in Hattiesburg! Best place in town to fix your smartphone and tablet for sure. Not only do they offer every different type of bulb or battery, the store is full of unique gadgets, electronics and flashlights that make great gifts. Prices are very competitive, oftentimes cheaper, compared to the big box stores. And the staff really knows their products and offers sound advice when it comes to deliberating between the many options.

Horrible service the manager is unprofessional and has no knowledge. I have used them and the past so I went back my phone work correctly for a week. I was told to bring it in store once I brought it I was told they couldn’t fixs it after the rude manager made it worse. So I asked could she contact the owner she refused and also called the cops which I know my rights. Normally service is excellent by now I see they hire unprofessional no knowledge people. No one should use this place to get a screen fix’s PERIOD!!

Took my daughters phone in today to have the screen replaced. They are cheaper than other places in town and did a perfect job. Repair took about an hour. I’ll defonotely use them again if needed!

Great customer service! Never even knew there was such a thing as a B+B plus store til yesterday. Went thru issues starting my car this past week and made a comment to my neighbor yesterday morning I wasn’t sure if it was a camshaft or battery issue. He recommended to go to B+B and have them check. They immediately brought a diagnostics kit/tool to go to work under the hood. They put a memory saver under my driveshaft so I don’t lose radio stations and fixed my problem in 10 mins. The associate working named Noah was also very personable and friendly. Thanks, guys!
