Great place to get books!! I ordered on their website and picked up at the store. I also just walked in and was able to purchase what I needed. They have multiple cashiers and not a long wait. Everyone was nice and helpful. I recommend to anyone. Thank you Textbook Brokers!!

Never had an issue with Textbook Brokers until this year. My first year of Graduate School and classes began on last week. Im frustrated because I planned ahead by purchasing my books before classes began. Initially, I was informed that my book would be sent to my home- found out my book was sent to the store. From there, I was told my book would be mailed, recieved by last Saturday. Called today, was told that the book would be here on 6/13, Saturday. Remind you, this specific book Im referencing course assignments are due every Friday. How do you think I feel.... 😑✌🏿

I rented textbooks from them on 7-31-19. They are much, much cheaper than Barnes and Noble, and definitely friendlier than Campus Book Mart (the manager had an attitude problem).This is my last semester at USM, but I wish I had known about Textbook Brokers in the past. Their books are both affordable AND in great condition. Other places are just highway robbing us students!

Textbook Brokers is the best place for students to get their books! They have the best prices and I love the deferred payment option it has helped me so much. Customer service is always nice and helpful.

I placed an order for a used textbook and didn’t hear any status update. I decided to call and was told the book was back ordered, no biggie. Finally I get a call and am told a student returned a book and asked if I still needed it. I said yes of course since I was three weeks into the semester with no book. I get the email of the shipment confirmation and notice the price changed from $66.99 to $96.98! I pick up the phone and ask the representative where the cost difference came from. He explained a student returned the book but that was no longer in the wrapper but still new therefore I was being charged for a new book. In my opinion if it’s unwrapped then it’s no longer new and should be considered used. One again, no biggie I agreed because I needed the textbook for class which I was already behind on assigned readings. I get the book in the mail, open the package, and there is a tear along book spine. Once again I immediately pick up the phone call the bookstore and left a message in hopes of having this matter resolved. One week later no response. AVOID BUYING FROM THIS PLACE!

Way cheaper than Barnes and Nobles bookstore on campus, and also the customer service is great! The ladies and gentlemen who work here make it SO easy for students to get their books and even easier to figure out how to pay for them! They have many great options of payment plans!!

Sometimes I have good customer service here and sometimes I dont. I really dislike when workers place a customers change/receipt or anything theyre handing to you on the counter instead of in your hand. This is something that almost every employee Ive encountered at textbook brokers does. Being that customer service is very important to me, I think I will be choosing to give another company my money from now on.

We saved about $100 going through Textbook Brokers rather than Barnes & Noble on campus, and the young man who helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable about freshman classes.

Its a resounding meh from me. Its an ok textbook shop. It accpets financial aid and has options for buy/rent now pay later. Its fine, but the prices and quality really arent much better than the competitors. Its fine if you want, but nothing exceptional.

This is the first time Ive been and it was a great experience. The staff were kind and I got my textbooks and paid and it took about maybe 15 minutes.

Do *Not* use this place, or *only* as a last resort.I went today (the third week of the semester) to pay on my deferment plan, only to find out they had charged my card! I only rented the books on the second week of the semester, so after 1 week they charged the total amount of the bill! That is not a deferment plan. This is the second time this has happened, I decided the first time may have been a mishap after a second I can say F&€k this place! Twice I have been in a tight spot now that they have decided to charge hundreds of dollars on my card.Find another avenue it will save you stress and added financial issues.
