I only go here to buy manga cause is the only place in town thats sells but is a damn good place to shop for it

I am in town for some school purposes, and I wanted to visit a local comic store. Unfortunately, it seems all of them here suffered from the pandemic. It makes me sad to see small businesses go under. Then I felt even worse for shopping at this store. It did have a decent selection of comics. The store is very organized and well kept. I would recommend having a rep that would help people find things faster. I was looking for the comics for about 10-15 minutes.

One month ago, I ordered a book in store because the item was not available in the store. I am a member and my membership card was scanned. Days later I ordered an additional copy of the same book. One for reading and one for collecting. The book I ordered online days later has arrived. I’ve had it for almost a week now. The first copy, I never received a receipt or tracking information. They were both promised to ship later in April which was fine but now I have nothing but a bank statement as proof since it never showed in my BAM account.If possible save your money and don’t purchase their non beneficial membership. Avoiding this store all together will save you time and a potential headache. Shop elsewhere. This company is not worth the trouble.HEED MY ADVICE/WARNING!!!

Booksamillion is a good store to go in for the calm environment and all the books they have. But if you see a book that you really want, my suggestion is to look for a cheaper option because will likely end up spending a lot of money.

Good place to shop, but they push their sales people to sell magazine subscriptions. The magazines were explained to me as a one time free issue, and if I wanted to later I could set up a reoccurring subscription if I liked them. I was not told my credit card information would be linked and automatically billed without me saying so, “mags.com” is their affiliate magazine carrier. Luckily “mags.com” sent me an email notifying me that billing would begin next month, and after 30 minutes of calling them then calling BAM and then finally being forced to create another account I was able to cancel my “subscriptions”. All I advise everyone to do is say no at checkout, I would just like to buy these items I brought to the counter. Stay safe folks, scams are everywhere.

Large selection of books and for mostly cheep, they have a lovely nook where you can buy coffee and read the book youve just bought. The staff is very polite and friendly. Everything is very neat and organized, and can be found easily.

The lady checking us out was a little rude. We spend hundreds every time we go here and I ended up buying my son an already broken toy for $30. We didnt know til we opened it. We were very disappointed.

Very well organized! So cute, smelled great, fairly decent prices. I would recommend it if you love reading of course, or even just to buy small gifts for people. They have a cute, fairly large selection of things other than just books.

I like this books a million. I always have a pleasant experience when visiting this location. I’m not sure if everyone knows but they are opening at 11AM instead of 10 during this time. I just went this morning 06/09/2020. They have not updated that information online

I went to books a million sigh my little sister as we where walking out this tattooed strange lookin man was staring at my little sister as i walked by his sketchy car i looked at the liscence plate it was from far away, a teenager almost got KIDNAPPED there a man was stalking her down the isles and checking her out then all of a sudden he jumps on her she quickly got ahold of the bartender and another citizen and they attacked the kidnapper, with that being said books A million is a awesome book store no doubt but the whole strip mall is bombarded with homeless, kidnappers, and strangers who are sketchy. i would not take my child there without caution.

Love my local BAM! I feel rather lucky to have a brick and mortar bookstore in our town.

Use to be able to find more movies or TV series. Also use to be able to get good deal in books. Not so much anymore for both. The DVD and bluray section is really small. Guess they had to make room for all the toys they now have

The employees are kind and helpful, and the Joe Muggs Coffee shop is even better! None of the employees are too pushy with the magazine subscription offers, but if I had any interest in that sort of thing, their enthusiasm would hook me well. I mainly only ever go here for Joe Muggs, but I do find myself browsing every time mainly because they keep the place pretty tidy and organized for such a large bookstore. If youre big into reading or just coffee, its a definite stop I recommend.

Love books of million. Only thing it seemed a little warm in the store. Its hot outside and I want a cool place to go to shop for books. I didnt want to stay in there very long.

The 2 ladies who worked last night, so friendly. They let everyone know it was 11 and they were closed, but being I only needed 1 more book for the deal, they let me run back and get one more. The one lady was extremely nice and asked if we needed help. Make sure I had what I needed and what I was looking for I was able to find easily.

They try to sign you up on a magazine scam service where the first 3 months are free but it’s borderline illegal. You can’t cancel till you receive your first magazines and they make it very difficult to even cancel. I told them no on the magazine subscription but they signed me up on it anyways.

Great selection. Most everything is retail price, but the bargain section is definitely worth looking through. Good teachers discount. Not so good at knowing what they have in stock and what they dont.

Books stores like this are outdated but I guess can still hold some nostalgia of the past. Im over it though myself.

I went in looking for books on a specific hobby, expecting them to have a great selection, but they only had 5 or 6 choices. I did get a deal on a couple of books that were on clearance, but they had nothing to do with the reason for fighting the traffic to get to this store.

Becoming more about stuff rather than books. The clearance layout did not seem very well organized. Could not find religion clearance or a sales associate.

Usually doesnt have what I need.

Nice place but not enough staff

When you come here watch out for the Karens. They will hold up the line at check out line complaining that they dont have the complete set of their latest smut novels. The employees are pretty decent but it is just that one type of customer that makes everyone else suffer.

I always come in this store whenever I can. You can always find good things in this store. The only down side is its a bit over priced.

The best coffee and selection of books.

The person I stopped who worked there was super rude and asked someone to watch me as I read a few books to see which would be helpful for a class Im taking. I simply asked if it was alright if I sat in the coffee shop inside the store with them because I ordered coffee.

Ive always loved BAM. It has large selection and is a great place to just hang out and do that sort of thing . They also have coffee and snacks at Joe mugs inside and the people are spot on and friendly.

The store itself is excellent! Great atmosphere for all ages. I took my grandchildren there to each pick out an item. An employee was dusting and kept telling the children (13 and 9) and my husband to stop touching things. She followed us to the youngest area and back to the items we were originally looking at. The 2 youngest bought something but the oldest gave up because he was scared to touch anything. He just wanted a book.

Wether you are a fan of fiction books, entertainment or just looking for favorite character figures, Books-A-Million has a great selection of merchandise. The store has a nice calm silent feeling while shopping for favorite books.

Honestly, I dont think they even have a million books. I stopped counting at 47, but I pretty sure they dont have a full million. So, false advertising isnt cool, but if you want nerdy stuff thats still well within the approvable societal standards, heres your place.

Books-A-Million has a great selection of books, movies, music, and pop culture collectibles. The staff at the register is always friendly and willing to help. The staff on the floor are often running around working, but they are also very helpful when you stop them for assistance.

I wouldnt trade BAM for anything in the world. Long live physical copies! Also, wonderful employees!

Why buy when you can utilize your local public library for free? However if you’re is in a pinch and need to purchase a book I guess this is a good option. The prices aren’t that great and you can usually get what you’re looking for on Amazon a lot cheaper. I hate that they took all the seating out of the book section of the store.

Really wide variety of books, but we mostly go for the cafe. One thing I hate is that they never have the same pastries. So if you go there and try a delicious pastry dont expect to find it again when you revisit or at least dont get your hopes up about finding it there again.

A typical B-A-M store with books for every age and interest.

I usually love going to BAM, but today I was very disappointed. I needed to return a book but they wouldnt even give me store credit because I didnt have the receipt. They didnt even try to offer any kind of help. Even Walmart will give store credit without a receipt.

Place is awesome truly one of the last good bookstores.

Isles are not big enough for wheelchairs or scooters. Spoke with manager but not understanding of handicapped issues. Love their selection of items.
