You really just cant go wrong with Safelite. I filled out my service request online. Safelite used my insurance info to submit a claim for me and let me know within seconds what the charge would be. My appointment was sceduled for the next day, and it took place in my own front yard! Service was wonderfully efficient, and the technician was very friendly. I cant see myself ever using any other company for windshield repair.
I had a windshield replaced in a Chevrolet truck a few years ago and it leaked after the replacement was done. I took it back and they corrected the problem so I gave them the benefit of the doubt for future business. I stopped by this morning to discuss a chip repair on my windshield and the gentleman working the counter appeared to have no interest in helping me or getting the job. It was first thing in the morning and there were no other customers in the store. He said they are working by appointment only, which I can certainly understand but then said nothing else. I then asked, so when do you have appointments available? He grudgingly looked at the computer and said, I can do it at 1:00. I told him that would not work for me and thanked him for his time. At no time did he ask when would it be convenient for me to come back. It appeared he was quite pleased and/or relieved that I just went away.
Tried to scam me. Told me to replace my cracked windshield would cost more than my $1,000 deductible and advised me to file a claim with my auto insurance, pay the $1,000 deductible and they would handle the insurance directly. Doesn’t pass the smell test. Got a new windshield for $523 at Safelite in New Orleans in 1 hour.
While I didn’t personally have my vehicle serviced at this location, I did accompany my sister and brother in law on two different occasions for services rendered on their vehicles. The first time was early last year (pre-pandemic), and the customer service was fantastic. The receptionist, Misty, was exceedingly kind, helpful, and informative. We were offered coffee and bottled water, as well as snacks for my niece and nephew. She brought out coloring books and markers for them and went out of her way to make sure that they were entertained and cared for while we waited. My sister had her windshield replaced, and it took about an hour or more, which is exactly the wait time we were prepared for. The technician, Aaron was patient, skilled, and the entire service at the time was thorough and sufficient..The second visit was a whole different ballgame. I was disappointed to find that the receptionist from the previous visit had been laid off, and that Aaron was also gone. I don’t know what happened within the last year, as I know it’s been difficult for many businesses to navigate this new normal, but the decline in customer service alone was absurd..... the technician was obviously overworked and stressed.. answering phones, greeting customers, taking appointments, and managing insurance claims, while simultaneously working in the shop replacing and repairing windshields for customers and commercial clients. He was polite, and got the job done, but the manager, as well as the other guy at a desk in the office scrolled through their cellphones for the entire visit. The poor technician seemed to be doing the work of three or four different people or job positions, if nothing else, he deserves a raise just for managing to get things done at all. He needs help. It was stressful just watching him juggle so many responsibilities at once...I have never seen a place so mismanaged and chaotic, and I’m not the only one who has noticed these things. We won’t be back, and from what I heard in your waiting room and outside in the parking lot, it’s not just us. The rapid decline in sufficient service at your location is mind boggling. If something doesn’t change soon, I don’t think you will have much of a client base to sustain your business much longer...good luck..

They are not open on Saturdays and I found a front windshield, installed at another place for half the price. I guess they need the money to pay for all those TV commercials.

I was so impressed by the professionalism and kindness of the guy who came to our house to fix our windshield. He was very knowledgeable but not condescending. One of the things I appreciated was that they sent a photo of the technician who was going to come, making me feel safer. We could not have found higher quality work or a more compassionate technician anywhere else. We will definitely call on Safelite for windshields for our vehicles in the future.
Great experience. Came in because my reverse mirror adhesive had failed in the Mississippi summer heat and they re-affixed it and didnt charge me a dime because they want to attract repeat business. If I ever get a chip or crack in my windshield Im coming back here.
Originally gave a 5 star review, but it turns out they botched my windshield installation, damaged my car, and it has been nothing but problems ever since. They still havent fixed it, and were still dealing with what should have been an easy windshield replacement from a company that specializes in windshield replacement...

Simple, easy, and convenient. Guy even looked for promotional codes to try to help get the price down some for the back sliding glass they had to replace. I made an appointment online and was scheduled the next day for install and loved the easy online app to do so too.
It is so dumb you cant contact the local shop directly. Even the local number is routed through the stupid national switchboard. All I needed was to check if something was left and it took over 30 minutes to speak a human being. It literally would have been faster to drive back to check. This is not customer service. They replaced the glass as they should that is what they were paid to do. But to contact someone takes an act of congress, maybe not even then.
They are really chill and nice. When you ask them questions, they dont get frustrated and are really respectful! It was a great experience!
The most horrible experience, they still have not replaced my seat belt they lost over a month ago!! This is after it took them weeks to replace a window they had already replaced that leaked like crazy. The entire back seat was covered in mold. It took three days just for them to detail the inside. Noone ever called to give update (for three days) the fourth day I went in to check on it and had to wait over 30 minutes for the to put it back togther and inform me they had misplaced a seat belt...Terrible all the way around!!
They came to my work so I could continue to help my clients & get back home to my family faster that day. Time is valuable & they did a great job & saved me time doing it. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Put my windshield in my Rav4 took 1-1/2 hours said it might take 3 hours so GREAT, very nice and pleasant employees, would recommend if you need a new windshield go see them, and o yes they were a $ 100 cheaper and gave me 25% off also 😊😊

Worst customer service Ive ever received didnt put the windshield in correctly and told my wife she would have to buy a new one. I had to call corporate to get some else to come look that it was there fault will never use them again
