Everyone working there was really sweet so this isn’t a negative review against them personally. The negativity comes more from the pricing of the items. Two things really gave me a good indication early as to how overpriced things were here. Every dvd being priced at $7 was the first sign that they were really unrealistic about their stock. I’ve personally never been to a antique shop where used dvds were more than $2-3 a piece. The second warning sign was how they price their graphic novels. As one of the owners explained to me “all books are half off on Saturday and Sunday we take half off (points to the MSRP on the back of the used graphic novel) this price on the weekend. That kind of blew my mind that that’s how they price their items. Does that mean during the week he charges people the MSRP?! I presented a small binder with 20 pages of very random trading cards and wanted to know the price since it wasn’t listed. I’m assuming it was the owner took the book, flipped through it and threw out a price of $25 because (I see it has a couple marvel and DC trading cards in it). It was a binder of extremely random, no complete sets of cards from the 90s. I asked if I could take the cards I want and just be charged for the sheets separately to which he replied I could but it would cost more. It was kind of amazing to see him make a potential sale so difficult when the fact is that he held maybe $10 worth of stuff in his hands and something that will continue taking up room for years to come. For being a antique store that’s is overflowing with items they don’t really seem to be in any hurry to sell stuff.

No air. It was HOT!! Lots of glass ware and dishes. If youre looking for items for a rehab project, youll probably find it here. Even some clothing that could be used for a school play.

Still one our favorites after all these years, if you cant find it here it nowhere. Be sure and go in the very back section, all the bargains back there

This is a fun place to shop! There is such an eclectic and diverse mixture of things to choose from and Gary and his employees are always so nice and helpful. However, if you go in to try and sell him something, Ive known Gary to lowball you pretty good. Almost to the point of insulting.

Has to be one of the worst antique stores I have ever been to. There was no heat. Everything was filthy and over priced. Water was dripping from the ceiling. No proper lighting.

The place has gone down over the years. Too high for non antique items. Employees were polite and helpful!

This is a very large building with many vendors inside. There are thousands of antiques. Some are really great, some are comic book baseball cards. It’s worth stopping in if you have time. The building is really old and very poorly maintained so I have to wear a dust mask so I don’t cough for a week when I leave. Good for finding antiques.

Be very aware of who you give your money to and where you visit. This place used to rent portable buildings out front and when they did I know personally and have witnessed them going into a recovered portable building when the rightful owners to the belongings of the things inside the portable building still had a window of time to legally get their things out and the people who own this antique store went into that portable building and took what they wanted put it in their antique store and put price tags on it and they were caught. Be careful who you give your business to these people or thieves.

Went last Sunday for the first time in months. Use to be a nice place to go but its unorganized and junky now. Not sure whats happened to it but its very disappointing.

Hot.. No good air conditioning but hey it is a big area. Not the best at clean. Not really worked so far as I can tell. Needs something..what? And no cell phone under that big tin roof. Workers Not too helpful the few times Ive been looking. Too many other places for antiques to spend much time here.

I love love love love love this place the people are friendly you can really find some good deals in there I got an awesome Cedar robe for a little bit of money and I am so enjoying it I paid for it and about a month later my cousin and her husband brought it home to me because I got it at a time we were not in a truck but they held it for me awesome people stop in go visit them youre fine just what youre looking for I promise you if you dont shame on me or shame on you because you didnt look hard enough you better be ready to spend a couple of hours we did and I found just what I was looking for right off the bat it was in a special place the only one sitting there and I got it for a few dollars awesome people to deal with stop in go visit youll love it

LOVE THIS PLACE. There are literally acres full of junk to explore. Antiques, clothing, an entire side of the store devoted to BOOKS. Speakers, electronics (if youre lucky), game consoles, old furniture, reclaimed building supplies, license plates. You get the idea. If youre like me, you will spend HOURS here. I once spent 2hrs and only saw about 88% of the store. However, prices can sometimes be close to eBay pricing if you know what I mean.

It was awesome. So much variety and plenty of volume. It will take me several visits to see everything and hopefully I dont get lost (it has that much).

This place needs to update the business days on their website. Regardless of COVID or other issues, I drove a hour and a half to find the place closed on Wednesday. Their website stated they were open today. Guess I will take my money elsewhere.

This place has an insanely large stock of antique and other inventory. I didnt realize how large the building was until I decided to check it out. Highly recommended if you are in search for hard to find items.

It’s the largest & best variety of selection I’ve seen in the state. I hate it’s not closer to home but well worth the drive. I have severe allergies so I have to take medicine before I go and I allow several hours of my time... usually an entire day trip.

THIEVES! I dont mean because of rip off prices or something in badd taste that could be debatable I mean quite literally thieves. Guilty of stolen items in their store! I should know because I was the victim.They used to have rent own portable buildings out front and even though I picked a portable building out from a different location in Ellisville for a temporary event and I used it as a ticket booth when I had it return for whatever reason the driver that picked up the ticket booth returned it to this place. That shouldnt be a problem right? But the building was picked up on a different date by mistake then we agreed on and thats OK cause that was completely able to be remedied. All I had to do was go pick up My things and I had arranged to do that and I even went into this antique store and spoke to the owner and made him aware of the situation and said Im gonna make a couple trips using my suburban putting as much as I can get in and each trip to get my things out and he seemed friendly and said OK that will be fine . After my 1st trip filling my suburban with my personal belongings from this retrieve portable building before I could even get back they busted the door handle offer the portable building and took out whatever they wanted before I could get back there and make the 2nd trip to get the rest of my things right after I made them aware of what I was doing! How do I know that it was them you may ask? Because upon returning and seeing the door handle the way it was and entering the portable building and seeing all of my things gone I went into the store to ask them to call the police and before I could speak to anybody I noticed a couple of my things already had price tags on them so I started walking around the store covering more ground in there and began finding even more things of mine the add little white price tags hanging on them so I brought it to their attention and at 1st he said oh Im sorry and acted very embarrassed so I started collecting my things and putting them in my Vehicle so I had no choice but to take what I filled my vehicle with and come back to get the rest of them but when I came back the rest of my things at price tags on them will removed from the store and were nowhere to be found. I suggest that he call the police and I never wound up taking it so far as to have anyone arrested or to take them to civil court or what you would call small claims court but even though Ive put it behind me I never have left a review stating these facts and I just felt like people should know this period that when you go into this establishment you could very well and probably are purchasing someone elses stolen goods because God only knows how many things they retrieved from people out of those recovered portable buildings before they had the right to the property because youre given a certain amount of time legally to retrieve any property that happen to be in those portable buildings when they were picked up. These people are thieves and they should not even be in business and someone argue that the owner should have been held responsible for this act. I guess said I put it all behind me I decided not to pursue anything and its been a few years now but I felt a responsibility to leave a review for anyone who might take the time to read it before purchasing anything from this store.
