DO NOT GO. Blinds to Go in Hartsdale is a horrible place to Go. I feel the overall company is a shame. I dont know from where to start. Customer Service is horrible. please stay away from this shop. I ordered my blinds, I got no email about it, after 2 months I tried following up for it, they said they are here and they delivered. The master bedroom blinds, were a disaster. They took it out and in-spite of the promise that the new blinds will come within 3 days, it took 2 weeks and after constant follow ups, they came to put it.The shop never answers, even if you leave 100 messages, they never reply back. The lady Nancy never reverted my phone and messages. Please do not put your time into this shop, there are much better options in market, its not even cheap.Pls see pics and a huge gap between the blinds, so much light coming in.

Very good in store and measuring man in house, but poor follow up after that. I was given a delivery date but never heard from delivery and installation. Still waiting. Once again in store great until the very last step. I’m supposed to have installation today but no contact from delivery and installation. Wow. The delivery man is here and blinds fit perfectly. Problem: he did call me but my number in the system was incorrect and the numbers were transposed. Renato was perfect in measuring and installation.

Anjoe was terrific. He is knowledgeable and friendly. If the review was asked to break down separate scores based on people and product, I would have given him a 5 and product a 1. I ordered 3 sets of vertical blinds. Anyone who has ordered vertical blinds knows they are not cheap. If you haven’t ordered blinds and are thinking about doing so, be prepared for possible sticker shock. Anyway, I chose for the blinds to open from the center. 2 of the verticals don’t close shut all the way leaving about an inch gap. One of those 2 I have to twist a few veins open or closed because the don’t move on their own. The last verticals veins are too long (about 1/4 inch) even after taking measurements a dozen times to ensure the would be the correct length. One of the trim pieces that goes around the valence is too short and 2 of the trim pieces are twisted and don’t lay in the slots correctly. I’m hoping this is corrected soon. I made a call on March 6 to inform the store of these issues and sent pictures to show the problems. March 12 I made a follow up call and was informed the product will be shipped to the store April 1, then it will be forwarded to me. By the way, these blinds were purchased on February 8. It will be around 2 months to have a proper product if they come correct this time

Not a good experience the roller shades arrived defective from the factory. The craftsman ship was messy at best. There was pieces of material around the cover that needed to be trimmed. I was not at all satisfied

I had a very satisfying experience with this business. Everyone was very professional. My wife and I really appreciated the time Ray took to walk us through different scenarios to get us to the perfect window treatment for us. To say Leon, our installer, was great would be a big understatement. He was meticulous and precise. He was able to make a window that was crooked and uneven in spots and made it look like a masterpiece. Thank you Leon I will recommend Blinds To Go particularly because of you.

I gave it 1 star for the obscene pricing! I’m logical to knowing quality will cost more. But let’s be honest, there are instances where you are overpaying. I didn’t need custom work. Just simple quality blinds.I ended up going to Lowe’s and purchased 5 cordless, good quality blinds for literally $849 cheaper!On a positive note, Cathy was quite courteous and attentive. When I apologized for not being able to continue with my purchase because it was very much out of my budget, her kind demeanor never changed and told me she completely understood.

Excellent service and products all the way around!The in store design consultant, Yoanis, had great design sense and product knowledge, and was able to suggest which blinds/shades would look and function best in different rooms. The store had a very wide selection, and plenty of samples on hand.The measurement and installation by Jeff was done perfectly!The blinds and shades look great, they really complete the rooms!!I highly recommend Blinds to Go as your first and final stop if you’re looking for window treatments!

The quality of the product I ordered did not resemble what I saw in the showroom. My roman shades were cut too short and had to be returned after I waited almost two months for them. They looked like a rag when they were put on my window. Certainly not the same look as the showroom. The response as I got from customer service when I complained about the different quality was sorry no refunds or returns We will recut to the correct size. By the way they weren’t cheap either. Do not use Blinds to go. Garbage.

When my blinds were installed, I didnt like the cord stopper. So I told them not to install them. After some thought, I realize that it is a child safety in case of strangulation. I went back to the store for them to put them back. I didnt mind paying $75 for them to come back. Nancy told me that since its my fault, i will pay installation fee again. I told her I was never educated and never signed a waiver. Sge wouldnt budge. She said i have to pay $20 per window, which is $400. Nancy as a supervisor, should be helping a customer. She should not be a supervisor if she is not thinking about safety and customer satisfaction as the #1 priority for BlindsToGo. Im very disappointed and im hoping someone will get back to me from the office not Nancy!

I like B-T-G: big product selection, good prices, helpful salespeople. But the thing that drives me nuts is their sign-in procedure: No matter what youre there for, ask a question, pick up a purchase or browse around to purchase, you have to wait. Thus, I had to return 3 times to pick up my blinds because I gave up after 15 minutes the first 2 times. There should be someone to answer phones (they ring and ring), provide pickups, etc. This isnt a pandemic procedure they do, this is all the time. And crazy enough, when I was there on my 2nd failed pickup, another person waiting to shop, was told not to walk around, she had to stay seated!

Everyone warned us that selecting and installing blinds would be one of the hardest parts of buying and moving into a new home (with no blinds and many windows and sliding doors to cover!), but Nancy not only made the whole process fast and easy, she also worked to give us a great deal. There is no way I should have paid what I did for the two blinds that I got. Part of it is my fault for not saying I wasn’t going to pay that much. But hey, congrats Blinds to Go and the saleswoman I dealt with, you got me. Hope it was worth it. Never again, if I ever need blinds again I’ll look elsewhere.

The work was supposed to start between 11am and noon. The installer arrived on time but realized a part was missing. He had to return to the store as a result, my job was not completed until 7:30 pm.In addition the mechanism that opens and closes the blinds is cheap and awkward to use. It is very difficult to maneuver. I have purchased several blinds in the past. This is the worst. I don’t think I’d recommend Blinds To Go

Ordered shutters for my bathroom and had to wait 4 months for them to be ready to install. Installation was a joke. I was given mismatched shutters that the “professional installer” put in without noticing! He also butchered my window frame in my brand new bathroom with dozens of drill holes trying to figure out how to install them! He left screws and wood shavings all over my window sill & shutters. Had to wait another week for new installer to come remove them & then another week waiting for the correct ones to arrive. Finally installed but of course no one fixed all the empty holes in my window frame. Nancy Cruz from blinds to go has been promising me restitution & not getting it done. Will now have to file a complaint with the BBB.

Terrible customer service and experience with this store. I was told my blinds would be in by mid April. Half of them came in early June, but no one from the store notified me, the only reason I knew was because I went to the store and asked (I was not able to get in touch with someone over the phone). They gave me half of the order and said they would call me when the rest came in. They came in mid June but no one called me to tell me and again I only found out they were there because I went into the store. The staff didn’t even apologize or really say anything to my complaints. I will never use blinds to go again, the whole experience was very frustrating.

I bought five wooden blinds last summer and I’m very pleased with them. They look beautiful, they fit perfectly, were reasons priced and I highly recommend this place. The pull cord on one of them raveled about a week ago. Knowing that the mechanisms are guaranteed forever, I took the relevant blind into the store last Friday afternoon. The employee who helped me told me that it would be sent out and back in 2-3 days. I received a call from blinds to go on Monday morning that my blind was back. That makes it less than 2 business days! It works perfectly again. Blinds to go is a wonderful business. I highly recommend them

I bought 10 custom blinds. Two of blinds were broken when I went to hang them. Unfortunately, I did them on two separate days so I had to make two trips. Neither time did the sales rep apologize for the inconvenience. My first return trip I actually had to show two reps the issue for them to acknowledge there was an problem.I like the blinds. They look much better than the very old ones I replaced.

I bought a houseful of blinds in November, 2019. Within the last month, one of them broke. Soooohappy for the lifetime guarantee on mechanics! Fast forward to now. I couldn’t get an answer on the phone, so I had to go there in person. On a busy weekend, I could see why the phone wasn’t being answered! Terri was extremely helpful, showing me how to take down the shade and giving me a temporary paper shade. I came back with the shade and dealt with Terri again. All good. Shade was sent out to be fixed and returned sooner than promised. Pick up with Terri, all good. It’s easy to be happy when the blinds and window treatments are shiny and new but harder to be happy when things break. Great experience and thank you, Terri!

My mistake was paying my order in full, I would recommend paying half on your order this way the store has no choice but to contact you for final payment when your product arrives.

Overall, the experience was a bit of a nightmare. We directly guided by the sales rep on how to measure the windows to confirm measurements (she was even on the phone with us) and she never mentioned they could measure and install to ensure they are accurate. One of the blinds was off based on the fact it needed to be hung outside the window due to the window size and type. We ended up having to buy a another blind with a modest discount since they said I measured and the rep lied and said she told us about the measurement and install process. It took me week to get follow up.I even called and emailed the Corp office and never even got a response or reply —

2 reasons I didnt give 5 stars,one they do not answer the phone so you have to go in the store, not what I want to do after working all day,just to ask a question or pay a balance. Second reason is I was told the installation & measure would be 97$ for up to 3 windows,then went in to pay my bill, cause they dont answer the phone& the charge was 130$ .I was never told 97$ & up!!! This store has a great selection of blinds and shades. The blinds can be expensive if you want customized blinds, but at this time there is a promotion buy one get one 50% off. So now is the time to get them. A guy named Ray helped me. He was very professional, knowledgeable about the products and asked me a lot of questions to make sure I found the correct product.There was hand sanitizer all over the store for the staff and customers. Social distancing guidelines were placed on the door.Nice store. I will definitely visit it again.

I am rating my experience as 5 even though there were some challenges along the way. The 5 rating is for the installer, Anton. What a pleasant, knowledgeable, courteous professional ! Based on previous google reviews, I asked that Anton install the blinds. Those reviews were accurate. Thank you, Anton.I was told there would be a long wait between payment and the receipt of the blinds, and there was. We expect delays because of COVID. Unfortunately, after waiting for the blinds for some time, one did not fit. That happens. But it would have been helpful if the sales representative (not Anton) had responded to my phone call or email asking about the missing blind. When he failed to respond, I called the distribution number and then the missing blind was made.I am happy with the blinds and I will buy more in the future.

I had not 1 but 2 issues with my order. Just moved and needed blinds for 2 bay windows and 2 regular windows in the kitchen. The 2 bay windows are fine but the measurements for the 2 in kitchen were wrong. Installation was seamless except for when he went to pick up the items from the store. He called me to say they were delivered to wrong location and couldn’t come to my house between 9-10 am like scheduled but instead pushed back to 130/2pm. I had family come to my house first thing in am to accept delivery. Would have been nice for the store to prep orders for next day and catch that the products were missing.I ordered almost 2 months ago and waited with paper blinds for them to come in. They were installed Tuesday 2.23 but again 2 are wrong. I’ve been told nothing can be processed until the blinds are returned. What?! They are installed and I need privacy till the new ones come in. Long story short I’m not happy with either and have requested a reasonable accommodation.I called twice and as of today 2.25 no one has called to provide update.

I love my blinds, but did not like the lack of communication while waiting for them to arrive and up until installation day.I placed my order in October and was told my order wouldn’t be ready until January. I patiently waited and On January 5 I called to check the status of my order only to learn that was in the store since December 28 and no one called me to schedule installation. The person I spoke with never apologized and claimed that my order just came in but the automated systemSaid it had been there since December 28. I was very annoyed that I had to call to find out about my order.As a result I had to wait an additional two weeks before there was availability for installation. The morning of installation I never received a confirmation call to give me the window of service hours.Once again, I had to I call the store to confirm and was told that they would be at my address between 3 and 4 pm. I then get a call at 3pm thatthat they wanted to rescheduled because they didn’t load the truck with my blinds. I told the lady how is that possible when I called the store and was told differently. I was put hold and she came back to tell me that they would be there by 4pm.They ended up showing up around 3:30 and the installation went well. It was quick and my kitchen windows look beautiful. I don’t know why every thing leading up to installation was so complicated. I’m not sure if it’s disorganization or lack of people, or minimal attention to detail. For a company that offers custom services and products, and for what I paid,I expected a much high level of customer service. My blinds are great and I am very happy with them.

We just had our new blinds installed in our living room and den and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. From beginning to end everything went like clock. The best part was our Installer ANTON !! On a scale of 1-10 he gets an 11. Anton really knows his craft and is very careful and treats your house like his own. In what I call record time he had all the blinds installed perfectly and then gave us full instructions on how to use them. A true professional.The blinds are great but the true measure of how good you are is the people that do the install and Anton is the best. The blinds themselves work well, but my overall experience was not great. We went to the BTG in Hartsdale, NY. The person who came to measure was throwing his metal clipboard all over our brand new nursery furniture, scratching the dresser. After the measurement, our order was continually delayed for three months. When it was finally ready for install, I was told the installer would come between 4-8pm and I would get a call two days before my appointment to confirm a smaller window. I never got a call and had to call the scheduling dept myself and wait on hold for 20 mins to figure out when the installer was coming (I ended up getting the confirmation text 2 hours after the install was completed LOL). Scheduling said the window was 2-3pm. I told the store this was not within the 4-8 window and I couldn’t be home for 2pm. They said I would just have to reschedule. They told me they’d call the installer to see if he can come closer to 3 and call me back. They never called me back. I called the store 2 more times to see what was going on that day for our install and never heard back. We ended up making it home in time for the installer to come at 2pm as we are approaching my due date and didn’t want to wait any longer for the nursery to be completed... and the installer showed up at 3:30.The store did give us a credit due to the multiple delays with the order...so in the end everything was fine and the blinds are installed, but it was such a hassle getting to this point. I don’t think I’d use them again purely because they are very disorganized and it was such a challenge to get our order completed and installed.

For the most part, my in person experience was fine. Joannis was great. Installation team was good. However from the initial input of the order in September to the time I received it in January was excessive. I was told it would be delivered and installed by November prior to Thanksgiving. In my home, ANTON took measurements and then installed my new shades (after he removed my old, broken ones). He was professional and friendly. The installation process took under an hour, and now I have BEAUTIFUL NEW SHADES instead of ugly, old ones. The mail order service was great, too--they shipped me the samples I chose in about three days. Overall a very very positive experience. Highly recommended!!

Maria helped us for our blinds for 2 rooms,when they left after they installed I noticed that the back of my couch(brand new) was broke since the guy pushed it so hard to move the sectional,so he can go behind it for installation!I tried to contact Maria and she told me to send pictures and video and they will take care of it,and that was the last time I heard from them,then I noticed one of the blinds won’t roll up and down,since they are under warranty I tried to text and call Maria and there was not response!!So I totally regret working with blinds to go!

The absolute worst customer service ever. They don’t answer the phone or return messages. The quality of their products is inferior and ridiculously expensive. There are so many other companies to use, do yourself a favor and do NOT sure this one.

We didnt get the blinds installed yet just got the order placed. Ill update the review later if I have to. People were nice, helpful, they have some good options. Prices seem ok, similar to others. The blinds we chose came to about $200 per window.

Blinds to go is a true family business. If they can cut cost and repair they will. So I trust when they say I need something new...and I dont mind spending the money.
